Aaron Gordon’s brother, Drew, passed away last year

with everything that you went through last summer leading up to this season, what and the improvements that you made on the floor, what are you most proud of that you did this season and and as the team too? What are you most proud of the team with? Uh, you know uh I guess just um being able to compete for the first time without my brother by my side. Uh, I know he was with me and I know he’s staying with me, but uh, I think just even coming out here and just competing is it’s something in its own right.

Aaron Gordon on what he was most proud of this season

  1. Sorry but why ask something like that still. You know that hurts that man everytime that gets brought up. That’s a pain that never goes away.

  2. It the Nuggets didn't get tossed by the Wolves this would of broke news about his brother during the playoffs last year which would of definitely effected him way worse getting the news WHILE actively still in the post season. Sad situation and at least he was home to be available to go see him.

  3. Damn incredible dude I don’t know how I could keep my composure. I lost my dad last year, but I don’t know what I would do if I lost my brother

  4. Respect to him putting everything on the line and competing even though he’s hurt I hope the best for AG next season

  5. Background: his older brother passed away. Being survived by his wife and kids. He’s stepped up and has played a big part in being there for them.

  6. I hope Aaron stays a nugget for the remainder of his career, I cannot see him as anything else but a nugget. Truly one of my favorite players we’ve ever had.

  7. It seems most of Nuggets team are in peace with their performance, which is great. Going in distance against a team like OKC is a big feat and the game couldve gone either way.
