The NBA Bubble 5 Years Later – First Time Watching

The NBA Bubble 5 Years Later – First Time Watching

All right, we’re up and running. What’s up, YouTube? Welcome back. I hope you’re all doing well. Let me let me adjust myself. Hope you’re all doing well. Welcome back. I hope you all had a great weekend. And I’m glad you guys enjoyed the uh video I uploaded yesterday um about Russell Westbrook. That guy is absolutely insane. And to think that that video didn’t truly showcase how good he was is insane. Definitely expect a new video for Russell Westbrook very very very soon. Very soon. I got to watch more of his uh more of his highlights. Now he is with the Nuggets. What a rough game, mate. What a rough game against the uh against Oklahoma. I was just watching it uh just now while I was having my coffee. I woke up from a nap at a very early morning. Start at work today. Um, yeah. I was watching the first half. Oh man. I mean, I I I was while I was at work, I was scrolling through I was like refreshing cuz I was uh keeping tab of the scores on on Google and I was talking to a friend of mine and he was just telling me that they had no chance, you know. Um, so you know what though? GG’s. They tried. OKC was just a better team this time. And um yeah, I would have liked to see more of uh Jokic, Gordon, Westbrook, but it is what it is. OKC fans, I know I have a couple of you guys part of the community. I’m sure you guys are happy. Oh, man. But yeah, guys, um not much of an introduction today since we’re not I’m since I’m not reacting to a new player, but this is a new sort of video for me. We’re going to be watching the uh 2020 NBA bubble. Now, I mean, it’s kind of straightforward. 2020 COVID lockdowns. Everyone was at home. Some people hated it. Some people didn’t mind it. I myself didn’t mind it. I actually graduated from college. I got my full license. I bought my first PC and I started streaming in 2020. only downside was I didn’t go to the gym, but you know that’s that’s that’s fine. That’s all good. But yeah, so you know, there’s a couple of mixed uh feelings when it comes to the uh 2020 NBA bubble. Some people say it didn’t really count. Some people were saying that it’s sort of, you know, the purest form of basketball that we’ve had because there’s no audiences, there’s no crowd, there’s nothing sort of no distractions. It’s pretty much just the players playing basketball. Now, with the 2020 uh playoffs, the uh the Lakers won, Mr. LeBron James. Man, I’ve been seeing a lot of interesting names for um from for for LeBron. I think my two favorite ones so far are Liflop and Leiddi. I swear you guys make me laugh, man. You know what I want to do? Maybe down the line once this channel grows more, maybe have a bit of money coming in, I might do like a giveaway and the best p the person that gives me the best nickname for LeBron will probably win that giveaway. In saying that, it doesn’t mean I’m doing the giveaway now. This is sort of just an idea for the future. I think it’s just funny. But yeah, anyways, we got another post 2K video today. We all know this guy’s incredible with his uh editing and his storytelling. So, as always, I’m going to leave the video link in my bio for you guys to check out. So, shout out to Post 2K for this one. Now, spoken long enough. I hope you guys enjoyed this one. It’s going to be a bit of a long one. Yeah, it’s going to be more than half an hour cuz I’m going to be pausing as well. So, yeah. Hope you guys enjoyed this one. Let’s get started. I have a confession. I love the NBA bubble. No fans, empty gyms, no travel, no homecourt advantage, none of that. It was like an open gym with the best players on the planet. Pure unfiltered hoops. That’s what makes it unique. Did not disappoint. We saw one of the greatest playoff duels of all time. witnessed a handful of game-winning buzzer beaters, comebacks, jokes, legacies being cemented, and TJ Warren turning into Michael Jordan for a week. The bubble had it all. We’re now nearly half a decade removed from it, and I thought it’d be a good time to revisit the wildest, weirdest, most unforgettable chapter in NBA history. Let’s have a look. 2020 NBA bubble. The Utah Jazz and OKC Thunder are scheduled to tip off at 700 p.m. on March 11th, 2020. Yet, here we are 10 minutes later in a state of confusion. The officials are huddled up talking about something. And just moments later, like it was straight out of a movie, men in suits rush the court like the FBI to speak to the officials. Something was said. The teams go back to their locker rooms and the game is postponed. No one knew what was going on, but about an hour and a half after their scheduled tip off, Sham Shirania broke the news. Someone on the Utah had tested positive for a virus that for the past few months had the world on the cusp of a global pandemic. And that someone was Rudy Goar, who just days prior had Yeah. Um I remember you guys told me about this. So Rudy got tested positive for COVID and just ruined the whole thing. Jokingly touched every reporter’s mic in what is now seen as an act of complete ignorance. Not even 10 minutes after the news broke, the NBA announced they were suspending the season, becoming the first major sports league to do so. Word spread to Dallas, where the Mavericks were playing the Nuggets. Mark Cuban reacts to the news just like the rest of us. The sports world explodes and we’re questioning if anything will ever be the same again. Nope. I can tell you now. Nope. After a chaotic 5 months, the world began to calm down and the NBA wasted no time. The league formalized a plan to resume the season on July 30th at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, inviting 22 teams to play eight seating games. Let’s have a look. So with the Western Conference, we got the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, Utah. That’s a new team for me. Utah Jazz, OKC Thunder, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies. This is a new team as well for me. Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, new team from East Spurs. Shout out to Spurs fans, Phoenix Suns, and then we got Eastern Conference Milwaukee Bucks. First video, first two videos I ever reacted to. Giannis, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, Heath, Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Orland Magic, and Washington Wizards. Followed by a fulllength postseason. Thank God for the bubble because we had a hell of a season going on. The new LeBron and AD Lakers were dominating as they were chasing a championship in honor of Kobe. The LA Clippers had just loaded up with the reigning champion and finals MVP Kawi Leonard alongside Paul George. A battle of LA in the conference finals seemed inevitable. The Denver Nuggets’ star duo were making noise as a possible dark horse and a secondyear superstar in Dallas was hooping. The West was loaded. Out east, the Bucks were steamrolling the NBA as the overall number one seed as Giannis chased his second Venenzo was in the Bucks. Surprisingly, right on their tail were the Toronto Raptors, thriving in their first season without Kawaii in search of consecutive titles. And down in Miami, Jimmy Butler was making waves on his new team, surging as serious championship contenders. I mean, the guy didn’t even bring any of his family to the bubble, stating that it was a business trip. He was locked in. An all-around great NBA season was finally back. Basketball was back. The seating games made one thing blatantly clear. NBA players playing in an empty gym was like rookie mode compared to playing in front of 20,000 people. Some of the shots these guys were making had me thinking there were magnets in the ball. And don’t even get me started with MJ Warren. The man exploded for 53. MJ Warren’s a new name for me. Let me know in the comments if I should check him out for a future video. in his first bubble game. 53 TJ Warren and 53 points should never be in the same sense together, but in the 53 he was like that, averaging 31 a night in the seeding games. It was like an alternate universe. In other news, Blue Williams was caught leaving the bubble to go to Magic City just for some wings. Kyle Koosma hit a gamewinner against the Nuggets to no crowd reaction, which felt weird. In a Raptor’s Magic game, Kyle Lowry and Aaron Goran get into it, to which Lowry tells him his room number so they can handle business only in the bubble. However, the more intriguing story line from the seating games was that all the clocks were broken and no one knew why. They all said daytime. Daytime. That’s a Something that Post 2K does very well. I mean, one of his many things that he does well with his videos are these sections, like the edits and the music. They hyped it up. He hypes it up so much. This makes me want to watch the sport more and makes me not sad, but sort of kind of annoyed that I didn’t stop watching basketball sooner. you guarding him. I don’t care if that’s CJ McCull. I don’t care if that’s Michael Jordan over there. That was from the NBA logo. Oh my goodness. What a shot. You got to be kidding. You know the normal talking bubble as he averaged 37 points per game on sizzling efficiency, including 51 on Philly and 61 on Dallas in back-to back games. This dude was launching from just a step inside half court. He was possessed. So much so that he won the bubble MVP. Oh [ __ ] Yep. The bubble MVP. Get me to the playoffs, bro. Damian. Hold on. Do we have Damian on the list? I feel like we do. Damian. Damian. Damian. I do. I actually I actually just wrote his name down on the list while I was watching the first half of the Nuggets in OKC game and having my coffee like right there. I don’t if you guys can see it. There he is. Ignore the horrible handwriting, but he’s right there. Round one in the East was a quick one. Giannis and the Bucks trampled the Magic in five. The JTJB Celtics battered an injured Philly team in four. Miami looked deadly on their way to a sweep over the Pacers, lining them up for a date with the number one seed Bucks. And the defending champ swept a depleted Nets team, including a game four where the Raptors’ bench scored 100 points. It’s an NBA playoff record, and they’ll need all of that in round two against Boston. For the first time in history, the Raptors and Celtics were facing off in the postseason. And it was humbling for Toronto as the Seas smacked them by 18 in game one. But they rallied in game two, up by eight points headed into the fourth quarter. And then Marcus Smart happened. The dude cashed in five straight threes in a 4-minute span, including an and one to take the lead. Boston never looked back and they’re up 2. In our other Eastern series, we had the now back-to-back MVP and defensive player of the year, Giannis, up against a wellbalanced Miami team led by Jimmy Buckets. And in game one, it was Butler who played like the MVP. Oh, he spazzed for a 40piece, including 15 clutch points in the fourth to go up 10. And in game two, tied at 114 with 4 seconds left, he does it again. Here’s Wait for it. Wait for it. Step back. Do we have a foul? We do. A foul is called and Jimmy Butler can win it. Got it. Oh wow. Okay. That was such a tease. Wow. On a questionable shooting foul, Butler nails two free throws at the buzzer to take a 20 series lead. And in game three, he’d run it back. Jimmy outd the MVP once again, pouring in a 17-point fourth quarter, while all of Milwaukee scored just 13. And Holy [ __ ] So, the Bucks scored 13 points and Butler alone in the fourth quarter scored 17. You know, man, I thought Jimmy Butler was like 25 years old when I just first started watching basketball not too long ago and I was watching the playoffs. I thought this guy was young. And then I was speaking to one of my friends on Discord and he was telling me, “Well, most of the Warriors team is they’re kind of they’re kind of old.” And I looked it up. I’m like, “Oh [ __ ] this guy’s like 35 years old.” In an absolute shocker, Butler and the Heat have the NBA’s overall number one seed on the ropes down 03. The same deficit the Raptors are just 0.5 seconds away from down 02 and tied at 101, Toronto fell asleep on defense as Daniel Ty threw down the gohead bucket with.5 on the clock. The Raptors are going to need some of that playoff magic from 2019 to pull off this miracle. But without Kawhai, who takes the final shot? [Music] Oh, what a goal. Did it count is the question. OG Anobi buries a triple at the buzzer. Off an insane pass from 6′ Kyle Lowry over a 7’6 Taco Fall. OG and Anobi court. corner three to save his team from an 03 deficit. It’s one of the most underrated gamewinners of all time. Toronto kept the momentum too with a game four win to tie the series at two to which Boston responded with a game five blowout to retake control of the series. Damn. But you can never underestimate the heart of a champion. In a game six doubleot thriller, Kyle Lowry lasered in a dagger fadeaway for his 33rd point of the night as he slid on the court like a penguin in celebration. We got a game seven. Milwaukee, however, did not force a game seven. In fact, it got worse. Giannis got injured in game four. The Hooks somehow got the win. And with the MVP still out for game five, it was wraps. Miami kept their foot on the gas to complete the upset over the number one seated Bucks and clinch their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals. But will it be against an old foe or the defending champs? It was do or die for the Celtics and Raptors and it came down to the wire. With Toronto down two with a minute left, Norman Powell gets the ball on the fast break and Marcus Smart evolves into LeBron James as he swats his layup right off the backboard. Oh [ __ ] was insanity. And with another chance to tie the game, Fred Van Vleet airballs, Boston wins, and the Tatuman Brown Celtics are back in the Eastern Conference Finals to face Miami. That is crazy. What a block, man. Blocks like those are amazing. Out in the Western Conference, the Bubble MVP got to face the number one seed LeBron AD Lakers in round one. And you know what they say, that’s all taco fall. Nice little Eurosep setting up a jam drives goes inside. Shot blocked by Davis. LeBron James. There’s LeBron. Anthony Davis. So, I I was reading about Anthony Davis. Apparently, he’s known for his injuries. Is it like does he get injured often? Cuz I’ve never seen him play. Never seen him play. I’ve seen I’ve seen him being included in some videos like this one, but never actually seen him play. So, I don’t know anything about him. There they are. Now itav cuz sorry if we keep for pausing continuously but you know with the 2020 bubble there is no distractions. It’s just pure basketball. You know what I mean? So I’m is you know they’re they’re just locked in. They’re locked in. They got no distractions like post 2K said. No distractions. No home advantage. Nothing. This is just pure basketball. And man, I I wish I wish I would have started watching it then. It would have been so much fun, man. Four to one. Holy. Houston and OKC was a movie. The series went seven and with the Rockets up one with just 5 seconds left, James Harden seals the game on defense with a clutch block on Lou Dort to win the series and move on to face the Lakers in round two. Our other series was Clippers Mavericks and a young superstar stole the show in game four down to one. He does this back to Donic. Give us a three-pointer. Give us a three-pointer. wins the game at the buzzer. Luca Donuch put up 431713 and did that. Look at that triples doubleing. Kawaii and the Clippers would come through to win the series in six. But holy, watch out for Dallas in years to come. Dallas sending Luca Donic to the Lakers. Now, I saved the best for last. All right, here’s a question, guys. So, hold on. I got to I got to I got to look this up again. I saved it somewhere. So, we all know the controversial trade, the secret trade, you know, they traded Luca to the Lakers and they traded him for uh Davis. Now, with Cooper Flag being drafted to the Mavericks, do you think that this was the whole reason why they kind of kept it secret? And now I’m They got the first pick, right? The Dallas Mavericks got the first pick and it was Cooper Flag. So now, you know, I was reading through some comments, but what do you guys think? Is it all starting to shape up? Make sense now? They take away Luca and then they bring in uh uh Cooper? Let me know what you think. It’s kind of interesting. Utah versus Denver in an absolute classic. Donovan Mitchell wasted no time in game one, going ballistic for the third highest scoring performance in NBA playoff history with 57 points. Want to know something funny though? It wasn’t a loss. The Denver Nuggets won behind 36 from Jamal Murray. But this was just a preview. The Jazz responded with blowouts in games 2 and three to go up 2-1. Which brings us to August 23rd, 2020 for the single greatest in-game playoff duel in history. Oh no. Oh no. [Music] Shot clock down at one. It gets up in time and count it. Decoy find an open man. Donovan Mitchell shakes Porter in the second quarter. Step back three. Murray. Oh, he’s got there. Here’s Mitchell now. Pull up from the free throw line. He’s got it. Murray and Murray. [Music] Man, when these players are on a roll, like when they’re feeling it, unstoppable, man. Unstoppable. Clutch three-pointer for the Jazz. [Music] Mitchell and Murray become the first opponents to each score 50 points in the same playoff game in NBA history. It was iconic. Murray was a sniper with 21 in the fourth, but Mitchell got the final laugh with 18 in the quarter and the win to take a chokeold on the series up 3-1. Denver though would survive game five and then the Stars did it again in game six. 44 for Mitchell, but it was oneuped by another 50 piece for Murray in the win. The dude couldn’t miss and this series is tied at three. Game seven was an absolute slugfest and with Denver up two in the final moments, this series gave us one more heart stopper. No. Defensive play. [Music] No shot. [Applause] What is happening? What is happening? off an insane sequence that saw Tory Craig miss a wideopen layup. Mike Connley rims out a three that could have won the series for Utah. Instead, Denver completes the 3-1 comeback in one of the alltime playoff series and they’re off to face the Clippers. Round two in the West gave us Lakers versus Rockets. One was pure entertainment. In the second quarter, LeBron sprints down the court and completely baptizes Russell Westbrook. Was buzzing, but Houston roared right back. And as Russ drained a three that sealed the game, he starts talking smack to an empty gym. It was the most Westbrook thing you can imagine. But you know what they say, Russ 3, KFC, UFC, bigger than five. LA continues their playoff destruction to move on to the Western Conference Finals. That is insane. Either get those pesky Nuggets or a highly anticipated battle of LA. Clippers versus Nuggets was seen as a cakewalk for LA. And it started out that way with a 23point murder in game one. Denver responded in game two to tie the series and game three was a house of highlights. Michael Porter Jr. detonates on Montre Harrow. Zubots gives Millsap a facial and late in the fourth, Murray tries to join the party, but Kawawaii literally hits him with a middle finger for one of the most disrespectful blocks ever to seal the win. And the clock kept rolling in game four with a masterclass to go up 3-1. And the battle of LA seems imminent. There’s no way Denver has another 3-1 comeback in them. No, I’m just kidding. They do. The Clippers choked away a 16-point lead in game five. In game six, LA sold again, losing a 19-point third quarter lead as Joic took over for 3414 and seven. Nuggets win by 13. And somehow this one’s going seven. The Nuggets the only team in history with two 3-1 comebacks in the same playoff run. And it was all thanks to Murray and Joic. Jamal oozed confidence in game seven, draining some ballsy threes on his way to another 40point night alongside 1622 and 13 from the Joker. They did what Kawhai and PG couldn’t. I mean, look at these numbers. After all that talk, the Clippers completely collapsed. It’ll be Denver off to face the Lakers. Oh, this should be good, man. See, I wish I could have watched this. I mean, you know what they say, guys, better late than never, right? He Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals was a rivalry renewed with new faces, and it lived up to the hype. In game one, the Heater down one with 15 seconds left in overtime. Butler drives down and throws in a wild and one to go up two. Boston needs something and the new face of their franchise has the ball. Butler got Oh. Oh. He blocked Tatum’s shot. Bam. Literally gets nothing but ball as he stuffs Tatum at the cup with one of the cleanest blocks you’ll ever see. Miami takes game one. And in game two, the Heat kept riding their hot streak to go up 20 in their third straight series. Jimmy tried to warn us it was all business. Back in the West, the Lakers and Nuggets were gearing up for a war in the Western Conference Finals, but game one was anything but that. The Lakers did what the Clippers couldn’t as they built up a big lead and kept it behind 37 and 10 from AD to go up 1. In game two though, we got what we signed up for. Jump to clutch time and AD and the Joker are going at it. Jokic tips in a ridiculous shot to go up one. AD responds to go back up one and then Joker gets him right back with a hook shot to retake the lead. Now down one with two seconds left. Does AD have one more in him? I would have loved to see this trying to disrupt. He puts it in. Here’s Davis 43 in the win. What a beautiful shot. Anthony has won it for the Lakers. What a beautiful shot. Bubble AD comes through with a colossal wing three to win the game, yelling Kobe as he celebrates in the black mamba uniforms while also smoking Dion Waiters. The trade for AD is paying off and just like the Heat, LA goes up 20. Miami, however, got some push back in game three. Boston delivered in a must-win game to get back in the series to which a rookie Tyler Herro countered in game four with a 37point bomb including 17 in the fourth to go up 3-1. Boston would get one more in game five. Then the Heat shut down any chance of a comeback in game six as they clinch an NBA Finals appearance for the first time in six years as the fifth seed. No one saw this coming. Back in the West, coming off of Anthony Davis’s unreal game winner, the Lakers stumbled in game three as Denver got themselves back in the series. Okay. But LA came right back with a game four win to go up 3-1. Wait, 3-1? Can Denver possibly? Nope. LeBron shut down any chance of another 3-1 comeback as he turned back the clock for a masterful. And here I was thinking it was going to be back and forth. 3816 and 10 performance, including a 16point fourth quarter barrage to get the Lakers back in the NBA finals. The King will be making his ninth finals appearance in 10 years, chasing his fourth championship against a team he once brought to the promised land. This is the juicy part, guys. Miami Heat in the star-studded Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA Finals with no fans starting on September 30th. This is going to be one for the books. Game one started out hot, but it only lasted a quarter. The Lakers blew the game wide open the rest of the way to win by 18. AD was electric for 349 and5 while LeBron toyed with his former team for 2513 and N. Oh wow. The NBA’s best duo was utterly dominant as LA takes game one. All right. Miami got beat up in game one. And I mean that in the literal sense. Bam. Adabio dealt with a left shoulder strain while Goran Dragitch suffered a foot. With both guys out for game two, the Heat were down two starters and it went as expected. The Lakers took a commanding 14-point lead into halftime, and there was nothing Miami could do. LA is now 4-0 when wearing the black mamba jerseys this postseason in honor of Kobe. They’re up 2, but the job’s not finished. 2 and0. Entering game three on the brink of an 03 deficit, Miami needed a miracle. With Autobio and Dragitch still sidelined, there was no other option. The butler had to serve up a masterpiece. [Music] Here we go. Here we go. Come on, Jimmy. Goes right at him and bangs it home. Mid-range jumper from Butler. Butler backs in. Backs in. That fall away shot is up and good. 34 for Butler. Butler the drive. the runner. He banks it in. Yeah, the previous game, man. Load of fire. Lot of fire in Jimmy. A masterpiece from Jimmy Butler. He knew he had to carry. No doubt the greatest game of Jimmy Butler’s career. The dude went super Nova for 40 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 dimes. Holy [ __ ] Becoming just the third player in history to post a 40point triple double in the NBA finals. It was a performance for the Hold on. Hold on. So who who third player in NBA history with 40 point triple double. Yep. In the NBA finals we had LeBron in 2015 40 1411 and Jerry West. All right. 4213 and 12. That is crazy. Triple double in the NBA finals. It’s crazy how actually what makes it crazy is the gap between Jerry West and then LeBron and then only five years later Jimmy was the third person to achieve that. It’s insanity performance for the ages capped off by a tough and one in snarl from his rookie to get right back in this series. LeBron entered game four with this emotionless anger. You could see it on his face and no one really knew why. You see that look? That’s the look that he had in the 2016 finals. You know when he has this look? Yeah. GG’s other team until he did this stolen by James and throws it down. Halfway through the first quarter, he gets the steal, flies down the court, bodies Tyler Herro, and throws down the two-handed slam, getting the rookie back for that snarling game three. This was personal for LeBron. And with a six-point lead late in the fourth, it was LA’s newest star who shined the brightest. Back to Davis. Davis for three. Boom. Anthony Davis from downtown and the Lakers take a nine-point lead. Timeout Miami. Anthony Davis hits a monster three to push the lead to nine. And by he and LeBron’s reaction, you can tell this one’s over. The purple and gold are just one win away from their 17th championship. Yep. Yep, there we go. Entering game five with one team on the cusp of a title and the other on the brink of failure, we had a storm brewing. So, let’s skip to late in the fourth quarter where we got the Butler versus the King. With a couple minutes left, Jimmy pulls up and puts his team up too. James counters as he flips home a tough and one to take the lead. Butler fades out of the post and takes it right back. Brun puts back his own miss and LA’s back on top. Jimmy drives right down, gets the foul, and you can see how exhausted he is as he nearly collapses onto the table. Butler was giving it his all. LA answered again with a put back from AD, but Jimmy didn’t let up as he knocked down two more free throws to go up one. Now with 15 seconds left, LeBron has the ball for the final possession with a chance to win the championship. He drives to the cup, gets triple teamed, throws it back to Danny Green for a wideopen three, but he misses. Morris gets the rebound and inexplicably throws it out of bounds. Man, what happened there? What happened? Like I I haven’t I didn’t obviously I didn’t watch this live but just watching this. See that again. Triple team throws it back to Danny Green for a wide open. That was a good pass. That was a really good pass by LeBron. But he decent attempt. You know that was a decent attempt. Nothing wrong with that. Now here gets the rebound and inexplicably throws it out of bounds. 13 and three from the king. It was the Butler who came through with 3512115 and most importantly the win. We’re going to a game six. All right. The Lakers entered game six on a This is where it gets sweaty. I mean, it was over before it even started as they took a 28point lead into halftime. The dream season was about to be complete. It was lights out. And that’s it. It’s over. Oh, there’s no butt. Okay. NBA belongs to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers conquer the bubble. And banner number 17 will soon hang in the rafters. And I have a feeling that this finals MVP is going to have a trophy named after him one day. The finals MVP is LeBron James. We just want our respect. Rob wants his respect. Coach Vogle want his respect. Organization want their respect. Laker Nation want their respect. And I want my damn respect, too. Mhm. Is an introduction really necessary for someone we all know so well? LeBron James. [Music] Hey, that’s my birthday, 10th of April. The game that changed LeBron’s legacy. Well, another amazing video by Post 2K. You know, very informative video about the 2020 NBA bubble. And like I said in the beginning of the video, this is pure pure basketball. No distractions, no crowd, no home advantage, none of that. This is an empty courtroom, players facing off against each other and playing basketball at its finest. You got all the top players playing against each other. See, and this is why I wish I wish I wish I would have watched this live, but it is what it is. I’m watching it now, you know, and I’m sure YouTube has the games uploaded somewhere, you know, or maybe maybe there’s like a website that has archives of the games, but yeah, now with the schedule that I was kind of following, it was meant to be a LeBron video, but this video here, the NBA bubble, was requested a while back. So, this was sort of at the start of this series and this video was something I had in mind for a while. So, I thought, you know what? I knew that LeBron and the Lakers won the 2020 NBA Finals. So, I thought, you know what? Let’s change it up a bit. Instead of just watching another highlight reel, let’s make it another sort of informative video. What better video than than the 2020 NBA bubble. But the one thing I can say, man, you know, there’s a lot of players that sort of shined during this season, I can’t remember the first name that he mentioned something about he mentioned like his name and MVP just doesn’t go well that never Sorry, let me let me let me rephrase that. That his name and MVP, they never thought they were going to like correlate. You know what I mean? Forgot his name. I got to re-watch it when I finish editing this video. And then you had Jimmy Butler, you had the uh you know they they he spoke about Giannis, James Harden, and then obviously how dominant the Lakers were, especially between, you know, the team of uh LeBron, Mr. Anthony Davis. Now, Anthony Davis is on the list. I should react to him soon. The thing is, man, look at this, guys. Look at this. This here is all your suggestions, right? And we’re almost we’re almost we’re about to fill up the second page. Look at that. All of this are your suggestions. I’ve written them all down, man. So, if your recommendation or your suggestion hasn’t been uploaded yet, just know I haven’t forgotten about it. It’s just that I have so much to go through. But don’t worry, I will get to them soon. Sooner or later. You know, this is only the start. We haven’t even scratched the surface of content here. Now, I had a lot of fun watching this video. This was a great one. 1. Man i remember watching that last possession by the Lakers in Game 5 in the Finals, i was with my dad and grandpa, it was hilarious man😭

  2. Hope you enjoy my favorite player. Bubble MVP Damian Lillard.
All time fave is Brandon Roy in case he’s not on your list yet.
    Enjoy the journey!

  3. Rough game for the Nuggets but amazing series, they gave us some entertaining basketball. You got the authentic experience haha sometimes games are a tough watch. Im stress free over here, my Brooklyn Nets didn't touch the playoffs 😂👍

Tbh I'm 50/50 on the draft being rigged. Sometimes coincidences happen, but if it was rigged then this would be the outcome. Dallas #1, Spurs #2 is pretty crazy lol. Get more ratings from Laker Luka, pay Dallas back, get more talent around Wemby + picture perfect Spurs org (also more ratings)

  4. Anthony Davis gets injured a few times every season, but usually not season-ending, just hard since he's a tall guy who falls awkwardly when he gets hit sometimes. This stretch, he was healthy and played as good as anyone in the league (Like he always does when healthy)

  5. Hey I don’t mean no offense or disrespect but why are we reacting to The Bubble before Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Mavericks Championship, Tim Duncan, Malice in the Palace, Magic and Larry, Kareem, Hakeem, Bad Boy Pistons, Shaq.

  6. 8:38 his name isn't actually "MJ Warren" but "TJ Warren". He called him that because of how unbelievable he played in the bubble, jokingly comparing him to Michael Jordan. TJ Warren was never seen as a star player, but the bubble made him extremely good. Throughout the regular season of 2019-2020 season he averaged 19.8 points, while in the bubble he averaged 26.6.

  7. 20:22 i think the most popular theory is that since the ratings were very low and everyone was talking about it, they send luka(world famous star) to the Lakers(world famous team) to boost the ratings up and its worked

  8. Anthony Davis is a guy that has all the tools to be a superstar, and sometimes will have stretches of several weeks where he looks like a top 3-5 player in the world, but everyone generally agrees that he's currently a top 10-15 player right now. He's primarily known for being a generational defensive player, however sadly will probably never win a Defensive Player of the Year award. His scoring numbers indicate that he's a great offensive player, however his jumpshot is streaky and he doesn't have a lot of ability to create offense for himself and for others, which is what has kept him from entering the upper echelon of the NBA.

In the bubble, his jumpshot was automatic, and it's a big part of what helped the Lakers win the title.

  9. nah tj warren was nothing more then a role player who came from no where and started going crazy in the bubble, sadly after that he couldn't stay on a team due to injuries and was never heard from again

  10. If you ever considering learning more about NBA players story or what makes them special, I recommend giannis story, and a Russel westbrook video from post2k,

Two other players is Damian lillard, one of if not the clutchest players I've seen, and muggsy bogues, the smallest and shortest player ever to play

  11. love your videos man , so nice seeing people try to learn new basketball , appreciate your videos! He’s not a top name but if you ever react to Andrew Wiggins it would make my day lol , my fav player of all time
