Since the Pacers got this team together, making the adjustments from the season ending injuries to their backup Center(Wiseman) and Power Forward(Jackson) both to torn Achilles and they got NeSmith and Nembhard back healthy they’ve been 4th in the league in wins, behind only the Thunder, Cavs, and Celtics. They’ve been top 5 in offense and top 10 in defense. Their bench is one of the top benches. The way Coach Carlisle and his staff adjusted to those early season injuries and had this team playing at its best come playoff time shows why he out coached the coach of the year in Atkinson. That’s the difference in a champion as a player and a head coach and a coach that was a top assistant to Coach Kerr.

The pacers have played some of the most beautiful and impressive basketball I've seen all playoffs. They're sharing the ball, they're all shooting the lights out, they're all playing crazy defense, they're all connected, and that was supposed to be arguably the best defense in basketball.
