What's the deal with OKC's defense? They were about 6 points worse per 100 post all-star break and they just don't look as dominant anymore. Possible there's enough tape that teams have figured out how to take some of the teeth out of the defense?

Plying game 7 in the finals vs Playing game 7 for elimination are two different experience except you both don't want to go against a point center and great leader like Jokic. this where anxiety is very high

Legacy defining game for SGA here. A win cements him as a guaranteed top 5 player As you say about Steph, LeBron, and all these megastars that suck the life out of the Denver fanbase with their play, jokic is one of those players, so if he can out duel him, he’s there.I got money on Denver to win the series back in game one, but if I’m going to lose, I want SGA to give me that feeling the names above have given fans the past 25 years.
I call BS on the Murray vs Luka thing. Murray not once looked sick during the game when he was on the floor. never when there was a break he had to struggle but the second he was on the bench he looked like he was dying to show us. I think it wasn't nearly as bad as food poisoning

The problem with Jamal Murray taking it easy during the regular season is that it all goes into Joker's shoulders and by the playoffs he's running out of steam. Still amazing, but….
If everyone (except Jokic and Murray, they have to be in the game, with Gordon if healthy) is shooting bad, it has to be decision between MPJ and Julian only (if both shotting bad, than still stick to MPJ), as they are likely to be respected by defense as a shooters even in a bad game. For Russ,SWat or Braun (one of them has to be in the game for defense at any moment anyway), if they shoot bad OKC defense will start to help of them and shrink the game for Jokic and Murray. Something like that.
To me it is simple, they were still exhausted and had not even been given a chance to recover, shame on NBA.

Denver hasn’t played their best basketball most of this series and gave away like 2 games being up 10 in the 4th, they will either get blown out by an OKC magnets game or pull it together and win comfortably in game 7.
Steph was 27 when the Warriors won their first title. Giannis, D Wade, and Tim Duncan were 26 or younger when they won their first title as the best player.
OKC is 70-12 overall & 36-5 at home vs everybody not named Denver Nuggets this year counting playoffs. But only 5-5 overall & 3-2 at home vs Denver.
Jokic offensively is a master but his drop and poor defense means OKC come off so many screens and that shot is wide open every single time.. also DNVR transition D is terrible.. They have been better than OKC strangely enough and could of had this done if Dort didn't go off last game in the 4th.. if J Dub lays an egg again it's clear he not a playoff guy IMO I know he young but it's brutal for him

Jason nice job with the numbers on the zone and man to man…just by the way, Nuggets play zone so they can rest and when they need it, they can play man to man effectively…game 4 and game 5, they were too tired in the clutch, so OKC scored easy and won. DEN, even though Jokic gets call out for his defense, there's Murray and there's MPJ, they are great defensive team, it just takes so much energy for them, that they rarely push that button in the regular season and even in PO they need to pick their spots…

It’s a big miss from Denver coach to not to use Young legs against okc.. Strawther and Tyson do have the grit , pace and shooting to matchup okc bench..other thing is whenever they keep 2 bigs both Chet and Isiah Denver can definitely keep Deandre Jordan with Joker.. he is not that bad to move on small.. Also okc tries to score more midrange and Inside..Deandre will easily get that slowdown..
It feels like Denver has won about 80% of the minutes in this series since halftime of game 4. I really think they’ve figured out how to generate open looks. Especially Jokic who has once again deciphered the multiple stunts and late doubles/triples OKC is throwing at him and is scoring comfortably once again. And on the other side Denver has really figured out a defense that prevents OKC from controlling the pace of the game. Denver is definitely going to be up by 10-12 in the game at some point. And I wonder how OKC responds in the biggest game of their lives.
As a nuggets fan, I can’t blame you at all for sticking with the Thunder for G7. I honestly have no clue which way this game is going to go lol the crowd might be the deciding factor

I like what you said about Murray. I call it heart of a champion. I think harden and Luka lack the heart of a champion. They fold when things get tuff. Westbrook has it but doesn’t have the mind of a champion.

Someone isnt casual if they like a player and dont like another. They could just not like a style of play or a players personallity. I think most casual fans just follow a good player instead of riding with 1 team.
