Michael Jordan “The Shot” 1998 NBA Finals Game 6

Michael Jordan “The Shot” 1998 NBA Finals Game 6

50 seconds. Malone crosscourt. Stockton a three. It’s there. Now the Bulls would like to get two for one possession here. Try to get a quick score. Get to the free throw line to give them two opportunities to one. Michael working on Russell. Brings them to within one. They scored within 4 seconds there. That’s how quickly that changes now. Now it puts some pressure on the Jazz to score once again. Jordan with 43. Malone is doubled. They swat on it and steal it. Here comes Chicago. 17 seconds. 17 seconds from game seven or from championship number six. Jordan open. Chicago with the lead.

“Michael Jordan’s storybook ending to his career with the Chicago Bulls – defeating the Utah Jazz with John Stockton and Karl Malone for his 6th NBA Championship and 2nd three-peat.

Possibly the most iconic moment in NBA history when he hit the go-ahead shot in the final seconds of the game.”

  1. Of course an epic MJ moment, the golden era of THE NBA, I mean, just look, Jordan, Pippin ..Stockton, Malone, so great, great years for the entire NBA

  2. Got the 2-for-1 in Game 6 in '93 AND in Game 6 in '98. That is what everyone forgets. He always set up the game winner.

  3. I remember it like yesterday. Damn the push off by MJ, everyone, including the refs, wanted to see if MJโ€™s shot was gonna go into the rim and it did – SWISH!

  4. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜the memories this brings back. I'm glad GOD blessed me to see all these incredible MJ moments. Thank you Jesus ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ

  5. Jordan basically rode off into the sunset after that shot ๐Ÿ˜…! But they couldโ€™ve won a 7th title had the Bulls executives kept Phil Jackson around. Itโ€™s crazy to think that had Jordan not retired TWICE ๐Ÿ‘€, weโ€™re talking 8 rings, ๐Ÿค”.
