    ABSOLUTELY!! IF Jrue has to go. Dont forget about all the games he HELPED us win! his defense, taking charges (occasional flop😊)his hustle. So he cant shoot the 3. Let him work on it!
    I’ve seen him make 5-6 in a game! He can get in the paint and score and make free throws. I would take him back.

    Not unless Smart is the 3rd PG option and it’s for emergencies only. He’s a tough, physical guy that has some upside potential but makes big mistakes when the games on the line.

    Why trade for Smart when he's only got 1 year left in his contract. If changes are really going to happen this year and the Cs would be able to get under the tax, then the Cs could sign Smart in free agency. But, if the Cs are really entertaining the thought of shipping away Holiday and getting back Smart the a three team trade could be the way to go. Rockets gets Holiday, Wizards get Dillon Brooks and the Cs get Smart and Jabari Smith Jr. or Cam Whitmore. Or the Cs could just buyout Holiday's contract and have him retire as a Celtic and have him on the coaching staff along with Al Horford to help the younger players develop even further.

    Smart blows. He was a cancer when with the Celtics. Trading for him would be a HARD NO, especially knowing that you are attaching a first round pick.

    I’m a Celtic fan for 57 years and I have seen a lot of players going back to Bill Russell. Smart had some good games, but, he didn’t play good defense at the end of his stay in Boston. We would not have won #18 with him on the team. He foolishly thought he was as important, offensively, as the J’s, and that cost us many of games. Yes, he helped us win some games, but, he cost us a lot with his turnovers and taking and missing, 3’s. We don’t need him. We appreciate what he did early in his stay in Boston, which was focusing on defense. He changed from a defensive mindset, to, like I mentioned above, foolishly thinking he was an offensive threat.

    I will always love Smart days with C's. But now, No. It's more about the leadership, not the talent

    Trade Holiday, start Pritchard, move JD Davison into Pritchards role. Simple. I like Smart but his style of play usually means a big drop off in his 30's either in play or in health. What the Celtics need to do is trade Holiday and Brown and Hauser and try to get a really good 4 to replace Horford. Tatum, Scheierman and Walsh can play the three.

    D No thanks he really dropped off in production, we don't need more people jacking 3s. He take shots over JT and JB thinking he was at the same level. And definitely not adding a 1st. Jrue is equal to those 2 even.
