Between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Timberwolves head back home down 02 in this series after falling 118 103 at the hands of the Thunder in their last matchup. And you know, the Timberwolves were a great cover team in this head-to-head matchup. They were 3-1 against the spread, 2-2 straight up against the Thunder in the regular season. But I’ll tell you, game one was just a collapse from the Minnesota Timberwolves. And uh game two, you know, the Thunder just sort of pulled away in the second half. And uh you know, kept uh kept the uh kept the the Minnesota Timberwolves at bay for the better part of the the last little bit. And you know, I just think that this is still a um have my voice there. Sorry. there’s still a uh you know sort of a gap between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the rest of the field I think and you know the Thunder are just you know a very balanced team that’s been able to take care of business now yeah you have you know your your key players from Minnesota you got Anthony Edwards chipping in 32 a night the problem for me though is that the secondary scoring is inconsistent I mean you have to rely on Jaden McDaniel’s cool but he’s not going to be able to score 22 points every night you need Julius Randle to be that number two and he scored six points on two of 11 shooting OKC. They’ve just got a balanced effort. Now, yeah, they only had three guys scoring double figures. SGA, Chad Holgren, and Jaylen Williams, but sometimes for them, that’s enough. And we’ve seen the Oklahoma City Thunder be able to hold teams down defensively and just, you know, put them in a box and, you know, ride that out to where you could score 110 points in a game and win that game by a convincing margin. It’s just, it’s been that kind of season for OKC. Like I said, they put teams in a box and they just that 110 points is enough to win in blowout fashion. So for me, it’s just even though Minnesota’s getting back home here and the Timberwolves have been a decent team at home for the better part of the season, there’s just not enough here for me to consider the Timberwolves. I get it. It’s a must-win spot for Minnesota. You don’t want to go down 03 in a series to anybody, much less the M the excuse me the the Oklahoma City Thunder, but until I see someone that that tells me to deviate from taking OKC consistently, I’m not going to be doing it. Give me the the uh the Thunder here laying the two and a half or even just taking them on the money line ifus 145 minus 150 is in your wheelhouse.
