They are too technical which isn't fun for casuals like me to watch. Very tight defense. You dont even realize as they start leading 10+ points because they slowly stack 2s while their opponent cant get past their defense.
No Dunks has it wrong, the ads/social media is secondary although they seem super dorky. It’s how they play on both ends of the floor. Foul constantly on defense, Lou Dort flops all over the place and on the other end SGA gets foul calls without being touched, flails and falls all over the place and constantly gets calls. Its boring. Wish the NBA would start refereeing the game correctly.

people hate them because they are winning. who hate them is the ones that are losing, and probabily will lose for them for a long time.
curry is not that hated, because there was not a specific element of his game that people could hate. but people were still talking about the illegal screens, and people hate the warriors and also draymond green. so is happening always like that, people use to find a way and a point inside the winning team to hate them.
People love to hate
It's because they play the ugliest shittiest style of basketball which they foul as much as they can, then see what they can get away with and then win the game. It's like watching petulant children run around out there with no control. It's disgusting. Horrible to watch and there should be an asterisk next to that series win against Nuggets recently.
Furthermore, SGA on the other side just foul merchant and then if he's not being a foul merchant, he's punching dudes in the in the chest with his shoulder bouncing off of them neutralizing them because he's punching them with his shoulder and his elbow and then scoring it's garbage.
People always find a reason or an excuse to hate the team that keeps winning.

It’s because they’re young and shouldn’t be having this amount of success early, right. The CBA and restrictions have benefitted them more than any other team in the league by far. But also they’re corny, cocky, they flop, and they get preferential treatment by the refs on both ends. SGA is a grifter. The narratives around them are incorrect. The idea that they’re only as good as they are because of Shai as in him winning MVP because they won 68 games. But in reality they have 2 all stars about to be 3. About 3 all nba defensive players. Coach of the year. Executive of the year. So SGA’s credit is overrated. OKC is a lame team that was stolen from Seattle. Their logo is dumb. The fans are dumb. Oklahoma as a state is horrible. There’s literally nothing likable about them. Their brand of basketball is ugly.
Fans of other teams are mad that THEIR front offices can't seem to build their team like Presti has for OKC. Also, people have ben hating on OKC LONG before those commercials started showing.

All the Thunder fans are saying it's jealousy. It's not. People understand rigged basketball basketball when they see. SGA is not a foul merchant, that's being nice. He's a flopper and real basketball players and fans of the game just watched a certified flopper win MVP.

If you don’t like the commercials, just record the games and start them about an hour later so you don’t have to watch the commercials. That’s what I’ve always done it’s better that way anyway and makes the game go faster.

The last two MVP runs have also generated a lot of hate from Luka and Jokic fans towards Shai/The Thunder
Guys like Nick Wright hate the Thunder because he think their wholesomeness is boring.
They weren't that hated until the playoffs because the general public started watching them and didn't expect such a great team to whoop everyone
* Jokic fans hate SGA because they want Jokic to win MVP every year.
* Curry fans hate SGA because OKC is winning and the Warriors are out of the playoffs.
* Fans are biased about baiting. The bigger markets brings in more fans and fans accept foul baiting when it helps their favorite player/team to win. Jokic and Luka do foul baiting and they are very popular worldwide. Harden, Young and Reaves all have big market fans who are fine with their foul baiting.
OKC is in a small market with fewer fans and SGA is not that popular. So, lots of people over criticize SGA’s fouls.
People don't like the Thunder because watching the NBA's best flopper on the same team with the NBA's most physical defense is a terrible product. It comes across as unfair to watch them get the benefit of the whistle on both sides.
Doesn't everyone hate the team that's not their team, that's why there are rivalries because people like their team and hate the opponents, it seems kinda like a "duh" moment if you ask me, apparently these guys are really searching for a subject for their show, having trouble finding something to talk about

SGA gets the softest whistle in the league while the rest of his team is allowed to molest people on defense and get called for one foul for every twenty they commit. This isn’t that complicated.
The talking heads on the internet hate the thunder, they have a great coach & front office, they haven't made trades that sell out their future to the cap, no matter how many times the talking heads say they should, the talking heads have been saying they have no chance to win it all this year because they are too young & they seem to be doing it anyway, They hate them & have convinced their fans to hate them because they have exposed the talking heads as just being guys with opinions, on the internet
