Are The Charlotte Hornets Asking TOO Much For Their Players?
Wirehoops is not neccesarily the ultimate media platform for basketball but it still does beg the question, can the Hornets move off Miles Bridges and LaMelo Ball, is Brandon Miller TRULY untouchable and should the Hornets even look to trade these players?

Mello needs to play 60+ games in a year before anything of value can be said about that. What’s the point of building around a guy that gets injured every year. Love mello, but it may be time to move on

It's not a player issue. Not at all. If you want quality work you (HAVE) today a premium in (HIGH) quality talent. Ownership Ownership Ownership has to be intelligent and then spend good money. Relying on the draft is based on Lottery mentality. PlaY the Lottery in real life and see how far that gets you. Oh wait I know. NOWHERE!
I think best case for the Hornets is try to win now by keeping Brandon, Miles, and Melo. They just need to fill the bench with legit NBA role players, not G-league role players.

The problem is that the FO just don't want to win in the short term. They shown it last year when they didnt sign a center when mark and nick were injured , which in my opinion led to grant and brandon injuries as well. They also knew about tre injury before the season based on the nature of his injury. Jeff Peterson exit interview clearly stated that he has no intention to improved this roster as of right now. The strategy apparently is to not make the playoff to make the playoffs later on , which is total nonsense. It will only lead to another rebuild like we did the last 10 years.
Trading Melo will be like the Warriors trying to trade Curry cause his injuries. When he’s healthy he has us between 6-10 in the standings, then we start losing cause he gets hurt.
Miller and Melo should be untouchable. Miles is Melos boy but I would trade Miles, our 4th our next years 1st and rest of the roster for pieces and try hard to get vets in the offseason. Even Taj said Charlotte is a great place to play
