So, could the Utah Jazz be trading away Lari Markin to the Charlotte Hornets this 2025 NBA off season? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayworld.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to check out the entire thing for yourself, but this trade would see the Charlotte Hornets receiving Liinin and the Utah Jazz receiving Ysef Nerk, Josh Green, Grant Williams, the number four overall draft pick this year and a 2031 first round draft pick. So Lori Markin is a tremendous player. This past year for Lori Markin in Utah, a bit of a step back compared to years prior. So, I don’t think his uh trade value is at an all-time high. Uh but this would still be a good time for the Utah Jazz to kind of see what they can get for him. And if they’re able to get back this absolute hull of a return, I would do this. No questions asked. So, if you’re the Charlotte Hornets, I would probably dangle the number four pick plus some other players and some assets, uh draft capital that is, uh for maybe a player that’s a little bit more impactful than Lori Markin. I think Lori Mkinin’s a great player to add to your team, but in a perfect world, he’s probably like a second or third option offensively speaking on a championship caliber team. Probably more so a third option. If he were to go to Charlotte, he’s up there for what he would be like. Obviously behind the Mellow Ball, he’d probably be the next guy in line in my personal opinion. So, I think Lori marketing going to the Hornets would make sense as an addition. But for the fourth pick, a future first round draft pick and three roster players, that just seems a little bit too rich for my liking in my personal opinion. So, if you go to the Utah Jazz’s perspective here, I love this trade. Uh you’re getting back three roster players, which might not fit the Jazz for the long term, but uh what kind of happens in Utah is these players come to Utah. They play pretty well, and he can flip these guys for some more draft capital hopefully down the road if they play well. So, in regards to the long-term outlook for the Utah Jazz, uh getting back three veterans, three players that you can definitely flip later on to championship caliber teams for whatever draft capital you may receive, that’s good asset management if you ask me. But also too, especially for a team like Utah that has a hard time acquiring talent and retaining talent, drafting a superstar fourth overall, plus a future first round draft pick, which they can add to the uh to the shelf uh for future either trades or just drafting, this is just a perfect trade in my opinion for the Utah Jazz. So, if I had to pick a winner without a doubt, I’d go with the Utah Jazz. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
