That’s good. Nas Reed finally gets one to go. Go helping out defensively. Knocks it loose. Another steal for Goar driving down the lane and he’s fouled. Caruso open for three. That’s good. And a quick timeout call by Chris Finch. Alexander Walker in and out. Go a hold on and finish. Under a minute and a half remaining in what has been just a sensational start for the home team. Alexander Walker knocks down the fifth three-pointer of the opening period. Homegrren goes past Goar and the flush. Beautiful move from Chad Homer. Edwards doubled at midcourt. Now it dissolves into a single. Wallace on it out front. Goar back to Edwards slashing left. Edwards gets it back. Finds some space. Nails another. It’s an Edwards eruption here in the first. got 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, and that ends the first. That’s the fewest points in a quarter this entire playoff stretch for OKC. Reed Terren Shannon Jr. goes in. Shannon throws it up. Shot. Count it. And a foul. Little surprise start here to begin the second quarter. A 23-point lead. Shannon jumper. Got it. How about this? Off the bench. A 25point lead. Connley knocks down the three. They’re seven of 15 from three-point range. Williams had it knocked away. Another turnover. Here’s Shannon goes and Caruso lays it up and in. Shannon off the bench with seven points in three minutes. Time out again. OKC. Naz Reed left-handed. Oh, sweet hook shot with the off hand from Naz Reed. The game was quickly down the other end. Good transition defense from OKC, but Connley winds up. He knocks down a three. It’s a title lay here in Minnesota. A 28-point lead for the Timberwolves. Han works top of the key. Lobbing inside to Hart catching and dunking. Fouled over the top by Reed to boot and one coming. SGA steps back and knocks down the three. Just his second field goal. Here’s a drive by Ant. Kick to the corner. McDaniels. Now Reed pump fake fly by lets go on the right angle triple and nails it. Reed is four for four from the field. He’s at both his threes. He’s in double figures. Alexander Walker the runner. The bench with 27 points. Alexander Walker the drive. Kevin had one building off his game two finish off the bench. He’s got seven more points. Edwards on the drive. Wallace right with him. Pulls up baseline. It’s good. His first bucket since the first quarter, but he hasn’t needed to score. Randall the spin. Randall the finish. Another timeout. The target center is alive. Randall goes in. Isaiah Joe leans in, just overpowers and scores. A 35point lead. Williams lines up his three-pointer, gets that to go. Eight points for Jaylen Williams. Edwards gets into the paint, pulls back, and jumper good. 20 first half points for Anthony Edwards. Eight of 11 from the field. What a response from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The first half bludgeoning here in game three, led by as many as 35. And he got it going. 16 of his 20 points in that explosive first quarter. Douglas Alexander steps back high arcing three and got it to go. Here’s Randall beats Jake D off the dribble rises up on Hong and lays it in for two. Impressive finish for Julius Randle is up to 12 points. Julius Alexander finds Hongren. Homegrren foul. Shots good and one. Chance for a three-point play. Nice find from Gilus Alexander. Dort tries high arcing three. That’s good. Lou Dort knocks it down and Chris Finch wants a timeout. Exactly what Oklahoma City wanted. Cut into that lead in the first couple of minutes. Edwards drives, goes inside, reverse. Sensational play from Anthony Edwards. Razledazzle. He’s now nine of 12. Edwards again. Go Bear right there to clean it up. And just like that, it’s back up to 29. Edwards got a three. Anthony Edwards now with 25. They scored 10 straight since that timeout. Shot clock down to four out of the three-point line. And a double ensues up top. Here’s Jaden. Straightaway three is good. Here’s Shay. Baseline left. Thought off by Rand. Backs it out now. Tries again. Flips off the shot. Got bailed out with a foul call. He flailed himself to the floor. The crowd was chanting free throw merchant when SGA was at the free throw line as Rand steps back, hits another one. Jaylen Williams. Shot blocked by Goar. Four and a half left. Third quarter. Randall goes right at SGA. Jump shot. It’s good. Timeout OKC. The lead’s balloon to 38. This crowd loving it. Seven on the 24 as Alexander Walker is in double figures again. Edwards long three-pointer. It’s good. Anthony Edwards from way downtown. It’s a 41-point lead. This was what was going on after the play. Look at the door with a little rise smile like what are we doing here? Edwards off the mark. Rebound. Alexander Walker. Even Chenzo fires a three. It’s good. It’s a Minnesota tsunami here in game three. Edwards jumper. Got it. 30 points for the Antman. Rudy Goar with a right hand and a terrific pass from Deanchenzo. Handle off one leg. Banks it in. 21 points for Julius Randall. Randle fires a deep three. That’s a 30footer straight away and knocking down his second triple the night. Randall is back and back in a big way. TJ Shannon a corner three. He hits. As you see a standing ovation for Julius Randall and a welldeserved one. Henri Williams the drive blocked by Reed. Alexander Walker looks to push. Here’s Nquille on the push off the Shannon. He’ll attack the defense. He’ll float it up and in. Shannon’s got 14 points in 10 minutes. Nice pass inside. Garza bangs it home. Boy, the crowd loves that. This was some display of great team basketball. Swarming defense, unselfish, aggressive offense and just the perfect response to get them right back in the series. The Timberwolves with a convincing, dominant win and this series is now two games to one. Anthony, just what was different, completely different tonight? Um TJ came in and brought brought ultimate energy, man. And you know, uh we can’t ask for nothing more. He came in and made all the right plays, attacked the basket with aggression, and um he came up big for us tonight. What were you most proud of about the way your team responded? Uh I was super happy. I wouldn’t say proud, I was super happy about the physicality that we brought and the energy that we brought cuz um being down 2, man, it’s it’s all about bringing energy and we brought high high energy. You talked about unexpected production from guys like the rookie Terrence Shannon Jr. TJ’s what you call Julius Randall got benched in game two came he said he had moved on and was going to come out and play aggressive tonight. Just what did you like about the way he responded? Um he’s a vet man. Um a vet knows what to do. He knows how to respond. He knows not to take nothing too personal. Um and that’s what he did man. He came in with the right energy and shoot around this morning and I can see it in his eyes man. He he wanted his respect back and he got it. How do you do it all again in two days on Monday night? Um, you got to erase this one. This one is over. Um, I know everyone is happy about this one, but we know this team, uh, OKC going to come out and bring hella energy and be ready to go and they going to try to win game four and we got to come out and and exceed their energy and try to, you know, get a win and go back to game five. So, we’ll be ready. Congrats on the win to both of you. Shay, would you feel just in terms of um the force that they were playing with early and um you know what you all needed to do differently in the the opening minutes of this game? Yeah, we we just didn’t bring it from a energy and focus standpoint. We uh yeah, to sum it up, we just didn’t have it. They uh obviously had it with the sense of urgency knowing like if they go down 3 0 it’s going to be pretty tough and we just what it felt like just eased into the game and they didn’t and they blitzed us pretty early and then we were never able to get back because of it. But um yeah, they just came out with a sense of urgency and we didn’t and on top of that when you play a really good team it looks like that. So we got to start come out with a sense of urgency and then see where the game lays. Sh. Was was there a sorry, was there a play or a sequence that you saw and thought like, okay, things are probably starting to get out of hand? We just like turned the ball over early. They had like offensive rebounds early, like a free throw blockout I missed and then I was offensive rebound. Like just energy plays and little plays like loose balls, stuff like that adds up, especially early in the game. And then they’re at home, their crowd’s behind it. Then they get comfortable. They’re up 15 and they’re open and they’re making shots and now it’s 22. Like it just it all it’s all a trickle effect. But it starts with like just playing with energy and being focused and we didn’t have that tonight. Well, along similar lines, Chad was just in here saying that Minnesota played with an edge that you guys just didn’t match. But why do you think that is that you guys didn’t didn’t match that edge? Yeah, I’m not sure. Um I’m not sure. The same thing kind of happened in the Memphis series. We came out in Memphis and they blitzed us. Um I’m not sure. I guess both situations we were up 2 going into game three and though and we went on the road and they blitzed us. But I I don’t we don’t try to go out like that. I promise you. Um but whatever it is, we got to figure out if we want to, you know, reach our ultimate goals. But uh that’s what the days in between are for to get better. Shay, we’ve seen you have, you know, the occasional offshooting night. This felt like it was really tough for you to generate looks. What what was different from uh the first couple games in terms of you being able to to get looks and to get any kind of rhythm? I think it starts with like I honestly feel like we got they were obviously heavy on the the shell like they always are. We got some pretty good looks early in the game from three and they didn’t fall. And then a big part of is like they were taking the ball we were taking the ball out the net for majority of the game. So, like they get back and get to set their defense. And I don’t care who you are in the NBA against a good defense, it’s hard to score when they’re set. And uh in the past two games, it hasn’t been that. We’ve been able to get stops and run and play. And like I said, when you take the ball out of the net every time down, it’s it’s it’s tough regardless. So, I think that was part of the part of the problem was our defense into our offense. And then, you know, with Ant, you guys obviously made it tougher in the first couple games. He dominated from the jump tonight. What did you see from him that allowed him to get in such a groove? Yeah, he got some early ones like turnovers, fast breaks. He got some early ones easy and with good players, you can’t you can’t let them get comfortable early. Um, it looks like that. So, yeah, we we got to be ready from the jump. That goes back to the sense of urgency and the focus on the game plan and what he’s trying to do out there and what they’re trying to do offensively. Shay, you know, for so much of this season, you guys have been, you know, able to, you know, bump people and, you know, get people out of the get people out of their offense and blitz people and, you know, to have that same thing done to you tonight. Was that startling to you guys or is it something that you guys just have to figure out how to deal with and go and watch the film, you know, tomorrow and head into Monday? I wouldn’t say it was startling. It just It it happens like you’re never going to be perfect in life in a long season. Now it’s you get punched, it’s about getting back up. It’s about responding and uh that’s that’s what the next challenge is. We got punch in the mouth today and next game we’re either going to get back up or or not and we’ll lose a game, but we have a decision to make for sure. kind of a followup on that. You guys all year, last two years really, have been a team that put your foot on the gas defensively to either expand a lead or get back into games. Why’ you feel like that wasn’t working tonight? They just they got too comfortable and they were playing with a like a desperate mindset knowing the where the series was laying. And then you give good players comfort in their building with their home crowd behind them, it’s in a moment like this in the Western Conference Finals, like it’s it’s hard to turn the water off. Uh so yeah, that that that’s what that was. Anybody else? Here we go. Mike Martin, last one. Uh you talked about punches, throwing the first punch. Mark said the same thing. What goes into feeling like you guys threw the first punch? cuz I can’t imagine it’s as easy as you guys lead and that’s the first punch. What makes you feel like you guys really set the tone? Second, sorry. Uh about throwing the first punch. Uh Mark talked about you talking about it. What makes you feel like your team in a game you guys threw the first punch? It’s us. It usually starts with like game plan stuff like they obviously have strengths offensively and defensively and both teams and vice versa for us as well. And both teams are trying to impose their will on the game and the team that imposes their will more and earlier usually throws the first punch. So what it look it’s the same thing on both sides of the ball. If they’re trying to do something offensively and defensively we take them out of it, we threw the punch in that possession and then you string them together and there goes the first punch. Anybody else? Julius, just uh just what did you sense different tonight, especially in the first quarter, that really allowed you guys to set the tone that you did and and get on top of them? Uh, I mean, obviously we got off to a great start. Um, didn’t turn the ball over, limited their runs. Um, but I just think we came with the right intensity on the defensive end and uh sustained it, you know, for pretty much a full 48 minutes. And what did you think about the lift that TJ gave you coming in? Huge, huge for what he was able We knew that we would need him this series and you know, coach obviously has a lot of trust in him. uh for him to be ready for his moment and um come in and give us the lift he did. Uh he brought a lot of energy to the game, intensity, uh he was just a huge huge boost for our team today. So, uh super happy for him. Julius, huge huge bounceback game. Um Coach Vince said he talked to you earlier. Just wanted to kind of get your thoughts on, you know, the conversation you guys had, but then also what you saw out there tonight that was different from game two. Uh, I mean, we just me and Finch been, you know, through all the ups and downs this season. Um, he knows who I am. I know who he is. Um, me as a competitor, obviously, I want to play and do anything I can to help our team win. Um, and I know he trusts me to do that, you know, and I also know uh I trust him um to do what’s what’s best uh for the team at all times. I know he doesn’t have any ill intent. Um so I mean obviously I I want to play. Um but for me um it’s about the bounce back, you know, how you come back the next game. Um and I just wanted to come out aggressive. It’s not really that they did anything different or myself. I just wanted to be aggressive. Um and you know, try to try to do that throughout all the game. Julius, in game two, six points. Obviously, you got benched in that fourth quarter, but you bounced back in a big way here with uh 24 alto together. What can you say about your mindset coming into this game and how that was able to help you perform the way you did? Yeah, I just wanted to be aggressive. Um I think that was just really what it was from the start. I just wanted to be aggressive. Julius, I watched you pregame. Uh, you were all over the floor while you were listening to Young Jeezy. Was Was that in the Was that in the game plan? Was that somebody else’s uh mix? Tell me. Walk. Yeah, we uh I mean, shout out Flight Flight. We all, you know, will come with suggestions of what we want to listen to. Uh me usually I’m like Drake or Nip. Uh, but you know, and I think uh, see Hines won a future, but um, it was a it was a Jeezy kind of day and I actually like that. I like that. I needed some Jeezy to get me going today. So, uh, yeah, it put me in the right mindset. If I could follow up on that, um, what what was the difference, I guess, musically, between games one and two and then game three? What was the difference in playlist and what got you so lifted in game three? Uh, I just know I had to get it out the mud. So, you know, he put on Jeezy and uh it just got my mind right. So, yeah. Um I mean, it’s it really don’t matter. I I I just knew I had to come out with the right mindset and just be aggressive. And uh yeah, shout out Flight. He got me going. Julius, you had a moment where you said like, “We’re at home now.” And it looked What were the emotions running through your head because you looked really passionate, fired up? Uh, I just really want to feed off the the energy from the crowd. Uh, obviously I love being home, but it don’t matter where we at. You know, I’m going try to approach the game the same way. Uh, but I mean the crowd the home energy is just had me it had me going today. It gave me a lot of juice and you know, I just wanted to feed off of that energy. Um, I know our team feeds off of it. So, um, you know, I was just having fun out there. Julius, how long uh after the shocking trade did it take you to say this is going to be okay? Uh probably I think I got to Minnesota 2 days later. Mhm. Uh, so I think as soon as I got to Minnesota, um, and just, you know, drove around the area, you know, ate some of the food, hung around some of the, you know, coaches and players and, you know, just embracing a fresh new start. Um, it happened pretty quick. I was excited. Have you talked to any of your Knicks buddies during this uh, final run here? Have I talked to him? Yeah. I wouldn’t tell you if I did. Uh Julius, you um you said your team pays attention to how your uh your demeanor uh you kind of probably had a choice on how your demeanor was going to be coming off that. Did you pay attention to the example that you set even in the off day and this morning? Yeah. Um, uh, I mean, I I I keep saying it. It’s all about winning. And, uh, regardless, you know, as a competitor, you don’t want to let your emotions overtake from what’s best for the team. And I knew uh, obviously as a competitor, I want to play, but, uh, it’s all about the team. And I wanted to make sure that I came in, you know, the same, uh, if it’s a good day or a bad day. Um, I think it’s important for not just my teammates to see it, you know, young guys like TJ and uh Jaylen and Rob and all those guys just being a professional and understanding it’s about the team. Um, so as hard as it is at times, you got to check your ego at the door and um that’s what I tried to do is check my ego and I think it’s honestly it’s beneficial for me uh because when I when I do that and I get myself lost in the team, I’m able to come back and play uh how I played tonight. So Julius, um Dante’s been struggling a little bit in the playoffs with his shot. Hit the first one tonight, finished two for two. Just how how impactful was that watching that first shot of his going in? It’s great. It’s great. Um we know how important Dante is for our team. Um and uh we got a lot of depth on this team and um you know, his moment can be any game. Um he can run off a threes in a game very quick. um and he will, you know, so uh we don’t know when that moment will be, but we know how impactful he is as a player and how important he is to our team. And it’s more than just his shooting. It’s what he does on the defensive end. It’s him playing the right way, making an extra pass. Um you know, getting offensive rebounds, all the little things he does as well. So, it’s more than just his shooting, but um he’ll have one of those games. I’m not I’m not worried about it. I don’t have any doubt. Julius, um, when I look at your game, I’ve I’ve often felt like, um, you need the ball in your hand in order to be effective, whether that’s playmaking, whether that’s scoring, and I’ve often compared it to kind of Anthony Mason, uh, during his time in the 90s, and when he was in Miami, he had an all-star year. Um, when you play alongside M Connley as a point guard, how long was that adjustment process um, playing alongside of him? And how do you guys just uh how are you guys just so complimentary off each other because you both are so effective to the rotation of that team? Yeah, I mean shout out to Mace. He was ahead of his time. Uh really really great player. Um you know, like I said, ahead of his time for sure, uh with how he played, but um I mean, Mike is somebody who can play with anybody. He makes the game really easy. He’s seamless. He’s a seamless fit in any of the rotations that we have out there. Uh he can play on the ball, off the ball. So, uh, the biggest thing for us is we we learned each other’s strength strengths and weaknesses and, uh, learn how to help each other out there. You know, uh, a lot of times, I mean, I I want Mike to to bring the ball up and have the ball in his hands. Um, you know, he’s going to make the easy play, the right play. I know if I set a good screen, he’s going to get me downhill in the pocket or if I get a switch, uh, he’s going to get to right spacing and and, you know, let me have those isos uh, when I need them. So, um, and he’s always going to be in the right place when I had a ball. You know, I know I he can bail me out. Uh, you know, if I get it in a crowded paint, um, he’s right there for for catch and shoot threes. So, um, he just makes the game easy for me and I just try to always uh, almost rely on that as like a safety valve cuz he’s uh, he’s just seamless in in everything he does. You know, he’s never in the way. He’s great. Julius, you talk about keeping your ego in check. Chris Finch was just talking about Ant and he’ve seen a maturation process. You’re just seeing him first time this year. What do you like most about him in terms of being positive, taking the leadership role, and being able to bounce back from the first two games as well? Uh yeah, I just think he’s very in tune with his teammates and uh what’s going on. um as great of a player Ann is and what he does, how special he is on a night toight basis, he’s like the definition of like selfless um in that fact. So, I mean, just shortly after that game, he knows I’m hot. Like, I’m upset. Not just cuz we lost, but I want to play well. And, you know, I feel like I didn’t help help my team out at all. Um and you know, he was the first one he seen me and he like, “Bro, just b just shake back. you good, like don’t worry about it. And uh you know, as the flight went on, I was able to like start smiling and laughing again and you know, we playing cards and all that stuff. So um he’s he’s very mature um and uh very in tune with the team and you know, as a leader of a team, you you you need that. Julius, just talked to Mike Conley and he said, “The thing about a win like that is that now we know we can do it.” Did the bar get raised tonight? Uh, we ain’t did nothing yet. We ain’t did nothing. We won one game. Um, protected home court, did what we were supposed to do in that in that front, but we haven’t done anything. They’re a great team. So, we got to go and do it again and play even better, play harder, uh, cuz we know they’re going to bring a next game. So, um, good game, but we haven’t done anything. Julius, uh, since you came back in March, uh, do you feel healthwise this is the best you’ve been in a long time? I mean, you’re playing every day and you’re Yeah. Uh, definitely. Um, for sure, for sure. Uh, been the last few frustrating seasons. Um, knock on wood, uh, ending the season, you know, unhealthy and, you know, have having to have surgery and all those different type of things. So, um, that’s been a, you know, pretty, you know, important focus throughout the season of keeping my body healthy and the things I need to do. So, uh, it feels great. Um, you know, just got to keep with it. Yeah.

Bring back 10m highlights 😭
Wolves in 6. It's over for the OKC floppers.
I respect your 'movie' style (the slow-motion effects), but for me – and probably for some others – it's a bit annoying. Maybe you're gaining some new viewers, but I'm sure you're also losing others. It's up to you, FreeDawkins. Whatever you choose, I wish you the best.
that's the mvp? lmao
i hope NBA recruit you for these awsome video
What a great game. Edwards has the Jordan ethos.
TSJ the secret weapon.
Let's go AntMan🎉🎉🎉🎉
Let’s point out this a game where none of the starting five of OKC scored 20 points… SGA had 14 pts and that’s tied with Mitchell for the most points any of the thunder put up.
Let’s be real people that’s not happening probably in the next game or at the very least when this goes back to OKC.
روعة ❤
I love the local radio guys in the audio. I watched the game with the tv on mute, and had the radio on instead. I hate ESPN!
Love the old highlights
Okc in 6
When I want to know the results I just watch the highlights. When I want to feel like I was at the game myself I come here.
thank you sir. this movie is a great thing in the long run… it may reach 10 million views because it becomes a collection.
OKC in 5. Games 4 and 5 will be blow out wins by the Thunder and they go to the NBA Finals !!!
Wtf he embarrased that 🥷🏿 shai
“Free throw merchant land” 😂😂😂

If SGA played in the 90s he would’ve had 0.5 points 😅
amazing comeback
The T-Wolves will not make it to the finals and this will have been their only win in this series. OKC in 5.
Some of these reporters easte timing asking stupid questions.
great job again!! you guys produce some very excellent bball content!!! always post your vids to our timberwolves subreddit!
Julius needs to have a good game every night if they wanna win.
Ayye… I rock wit Shai… def deserves the MVP… I couldn’t help but think… how differently a man wit braids are treated differently in 2025. He has a different vibe from my all time great, A.I. bro from Canada 🇨🇦, and A.I. from Newport News… 🤷🏾♂️… does that make yt folks feel differently about the aesthetic? That a ??? To the yt folks. However, 2001 and 2025 profiling haven’t changed 5 years after George Floyd. So what is the difference? That’s a question for all the yt folks.
These intros are GOATED my guy. Keep it up .
Remember guys, NBA wants 7 Games in this series.
18:31 ….. where are JR’s eyebrows???? Honestly the sideways jaw and no eyebrows and sporadic up and down play is giving amphetamines to me…
This is better than the nba highlights.
GOATKINS
I can tell we're living in the era of social media, non-casual nba fans know that great teams often struggle to start new playoff round after a long break(4-5 days) following an easy round.
Thunder started energetically and mentally sharper but now the Wolves' fresh legs on top of their matching depth and talents might just extend this series a bit further than most thought…
If the Wolves win the 4th game, we are gonna be in for a treat, fingers crossed.
Ant is frustrating . Cuz he’s shows flashes of absolute brilliance , and being one of the best SG’s ever. But then some games he fades , and I’m like man he’s not worthy at all of the MJ comparisons . Idk he needs to get way more consistent. For them to beat okc he has to average over 30 PPG , none of those weak 18 point games and disappearing
Love the format man, specially coming out so quickly after the game. Way better than traditional highlights videos! Keep it up Dawkins!
MVP such a joke
holy murder
@nba hire this man for post production 🙌
Let’s go thunder we know how good ant and the t wolves can be let’s bounce back and then come back home ⚡️⚡️
Ton of respect for the wolves team but let’s go get it thunder!
I like all the teams in the finals. I'm real glad the TWolves bounced back and I hope they can do it again. And I hope they can go to OKC and take control of this series but I know it's gonna be tough. Let's see what happens.
