They got to even the series. Lose this one and you got to win the next three. Extremely unlikely they could recover if they falter here. Here’s Randall after Oklahoma City gets the three. Good for the basket. Starting off one for one with that shot. And how about the touch there inside? And that that’s where Randall likes to get the ball and you can see why. Back to Gilis Alexander. Double team on Gilis Alexander from D Williams. Rudy Goar with the rebound. Now the Timberwolves with it. And with an update from the sidelines. Let’s check in with David Aldridge. Thanks. I caught up with Chris Finch. He said SGAA has this special ability to lull a defender into a slower pace and then suddenly make a quick move that leaves everybody just standing there. Coach feels the attention has to be on him. He wants to force somebody else to beat them, guys. Thank you, David. And stolen by Williams. Excellent anticipation there to come away with the steal. Dort wide open offline with his three and it’s Connley with the ball for the Timberwolves outside. Edwards shoots over to George. It’s rebounded by Hartinstein. And that is the exact type of opportunity this offense is looking to create. Yeah, quality offense will serve you well in the long run. You can’t settle for bad shots. Angle with the ball. Dort covering out to Connley. The three and the rebound goes to the Thunder. Williams for three. Trains it from beyond the arc. Williams has got six. Oh, nice job there from Hogram. His guys appreciate when they’re open. He gets them the ball. Outside Connley Randle surveying the D for three. Edwards in coming off an assist from Randle. Both teams running perimeter oriented plays that are working. Well, you know, it’s become a three-point shooting league. Teams shooting a steady diet from outside. Count that one for Dort. And when you have Norton on your side, this is what he brings on the offensive end. Right off the catch and fire. And so Chris Finch calls for the timeout. He wants to talk to his guys. Timberwolves have gone two for four from the field so far today. Nice ball movement by Minnesota. Here’s Edwards. Finds the bottom of the bucket from 13 ft out. Five points in the game. Where doesn’t Edwards score from? Even in the mid-range, he makes shots. Hartinstein passes to Gilis Alexander. Door to screen on C and a wide open look for Gilas Alexander. And a miss there on the triple and finished off by Edwards. Wow. This is how explosive Edwards can be. He finishes with such force at the rim. Gildish Alexander passes to Williams inside now. Moren fires for three. Rudy Goar with the rebound. And you could tell he thought that triple was going to fall. First quarter play and just over 3 and 1/2 minutes in. As to Edwards. Five to shoot. Edwards brings so much power to his game inside. The Timberwolves shooting their first shots from the stripe in this game. Taking two shots. And they now lead as the free throw drops for him. And what you have to love about Edwards is his drive. This is a guy that wants to be an all-time great when it’s all said and done. And the Thunder making a switch here. Caruso’s checked in. He’s perfect from the line this time. Yeah, great effort tonight and he’s been rewarded with trips to the line. Right. Bounce pass from Gilgus Alexander outside. Williams to the paint. He’s looking for Hardenstein and finds him. And a big pounce off the rim, but it sinks right in and he had a good look and Gilg Alexander made it pay off. Connley dishes to Go. Pass to Edwards from the ark outside for Randall. A three-pointer is right on target. Randle’s got five points so far and he likes to get in a rhythm early. Nice triple. Hardenstein with a screen on Edwards. Gildas Alexander passes to Caruso. Back to Gilas Alexander from downtown calls through. He’s now made two of four. Both teams running perimeter oriented plays that are working well. You know, it’s become a three-point shooting league. Teams shooting a steady diet from outside. Pass to Edwards from past the arc. It’s rebounded by Hartinstein. Oklahoma City’s gotten a lot of shots off from three-point land in the first quarter, but they’re only four of nine. A wide open look here for Caruso. And that won’t go, missing the go-ahead bucket. Minnesota’s gone two and five from three-point land here in the first quarter. Randall kicks to McDaniel. Back to Randall. Go Bear with a screen on Homer. Randle and foul on the shot. He’ll shoot two at the free throw line. And Randle’s never been one to back down from physical play inside. And he’s not going to start now. The Timberwolves shooting their third and fourth free throw shots of the night. And the first one at the line is good. You know, one thing you have to admire about Randall is his hunger to get better. He He is a real leader who leads by example. both free throws good from Randall and it’s the Thunder with the ball. Trailing by two pass to Caruso. Williams kicks to Homegrren. Good. The nice assist for Williams. And with that threat of the outside jumper, a home run generates space for this offense. And we’ve got a timeout called from Chris Finch. He wants to regroup and go over the strategy. for Minnesota. They’ve gone five of nine from the field here in the first outside. Edwards hands it from downtown. Edwards got a couple of threes now in the first with the Timberwolves. Well, when you have a guy scoring like he is, you redraw every play to be about getting him the ball. Back to Caruso. Oklahoma City moving the ball around to the middle trying to find Gilis Alexander. Gets it to him. Oh, you got to finish at the rim right there. You hate seeing those opportunities go to waste. Yeah, good job to take it right at the free throw. He’ll take his third and fourth free throw shots of the game right here. And the first one drops. Well, we know Edwards has an outstanding skill set, but what makes him truly special is his competitive will and ability to handle high pressure moments. and Edwards drops them both. Here’s Gildis Alexander. He has five. Pass to Caruso. Homegrren wide open. The basket is good off the assist from Williams. Homegrren’s got his second bucket tonight. And playing up tempo prolevel ball can be hard for some guys, but Homegr has easily made the transition. Now here’s Goar. Nothing on the board. Here’s Randall and the rejection by Homegrren. Long 71 with that 76 wingspan. Hungren can alter or block just about every shot in his vicinity. Now here’s Gilas Alexander following the miss by Julius Randle. Just five to shoot. Here’s Gilas Alexander rebounded by the Timberwolves. Goar’s got his fourth rebound in this one. And they’ve come out with a take no prisoners approach on the glass here tonight, guys. Now here’s McDaniels. Here’s Edwards and the rejection by Hogren. Do not test Mr. Hong, a gifted shot blocker. Alexander Walker, he’s checked in for the Timberwolves. Isaiah Joe, he’s judging for the Thunder. Shot clock at six. Daniels kicks to Go. Three-pointer. Randall. Caruso grabs the miss. And the great shooters know when they’ve got enough opening to go for the three. I didn’t think it was a bad choice on that possession. Williams can’t get it to go. That’s the kind of D you need when he’s got the ball near the hoop. They were all over it. Conlay the pass to McDaniels. Now here’s Goar. Alexander Walker with the ball. Trains the three-pointer and the Timberwolves lead by four. Yeah, nice read by Goar. When he’s providing an assist, that is a big bonus. Caruso kicks to Williams. It’s in. It’s his third field goal of the game. He’s three for five. The shots are certainly fallen for him here in the early stages. Randall outside. Now here’s McDaniels. No scoring in this one. And slammed down by Go. Well, Gopair understands how to capitalize off these sets. Great movement by him after setting the screen. Williams kicks to Caruso. Williams has a screen for Caruso. Offensive rebound and the shot goes in. Just doing the job on the backboard. Timberwolves have gone 50% from the field in the first quarter. Eight of 16. Conley against Caruso. Now here’s Gobear. He’s guarded closer as to Randall. Launches a three. Rebound by Williams. No other way to put it. Just a poor shooting performance for him. But luckily his teammates have picked up a slam. And so it’s Randall bringing it up now for the Timberwolves. From down in the low post it goes. Randle’s got nine points. With or without the ball, Randall moves so well for a big pass to Homegrren. Oklahoma City moving it around. He was all alone on that one. Well, he can beat you in a lot of ways. Very challenging to defend. In the lead. Connley surveying the D. Here’s Alexander Walker trying to come right back with a three of his own, but it’s no good. Joe passes to Williams. There’s a good screen and the whistle blows. It’s going to be on Michael Conley. That is his first foul of the game. Big group substitution now for Minnesota. Is checked in. Reed comes in for Randy Edwards. He’s checked in for McDaniels. And it’s Dante Dvenenzo in for Mike Conley. And then for Oklahoma City Williams, he’s checked in for Hartenstein. Aaron Wiggins comes in for Homegrren. And Shane Gilgus Alexander subbed in for Jaylen Williams. Oh yeah, Caruso has major spring to his game. And here’s Edwards. He’s got 14. And he buries that one, drilling the rim on the way down. He’s got 16. His strong shooting has really helped them secure this lead. Williams, a screen on Edwards. Joe can’t get it to go. The Timberwolves shooting well right out of the gates here at around 50%. Oh wow, what a great moving time. That is incredible. Well, Edwards is such a strong player. Skilled at absorbing contact and still finishing. Gilas Alexander sinks that one from the post. Gil Alexander’s got seven. Well, that’s easy pickings for him. Unless the defense is all over him, he’ll take that all day long. Pass to Devanchenzo. Reed in the post. Can’t hit the short- range fadeaway. And so both teams trading buckets as we end the first quarter. Timberwolves lead by one. And back with the start of And we welcome you back to game four on 2K Sports. And what do you guys think so far about the offensive approach for Minnesota? Well, yeah, early on the mid-range jumpers have been an important part of their attack. They’re going old school. And I also have to bring up their passing game. They they’ve been moving the ball with great precision so far and creating great looks for their teammates. They’ve got Dante Devincenzo. Reed is out there with Miller. Then there’s Edwards and it’s Alexander Walker in at the three. The small forward. So that’s the lineup for Minnesota. They get a bet and Reed has it in the corner. Nails the wide open jump shot. Reed got the second quarter going with the first basket of the period for the Timberwolves. Here’s Kilis Alexander and contact on the shot. So he’ll be shooting free throws here. Nearly automatic. Gilas Alexander. No slouch from the line. The Thunder shooting their first foul shots of the night here. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. First one falls for Minnesota making a switch here. Nods checked in. Good on both. The Timberwolves shooting well. 50% from the floor. It’s Edwards on the wing. Edwards loves it in there. Well, it might not be fair, but most nights we expect Edwards to put up big scoring numbers. That’s what you ask of your stars. Wiggins. A screen on Denenzo. Whoops. Anticipated the pass. Turnover. Pass to Edwards. Here’s Minot. Pocket six. Reed with it. He’s guarded by Williams. Reed gets the bucket. Now it’s a six-point Minnesota lead. Such a confident shooter. Reed was ready as soon as the ball got to him. Wiggins with it. Oklahoma City needs to get off a shot from deep. He’ll just Alexander. No good. His fifth miss shot from the field. He’s made three. A slight advantage for them in the rebound department, but that often times is all it takes. And Edwards launches it from deep. Wiggins with the rebound. He’s cooled down a little bit after draining those two three-pointers in the first quarter. And stolen by Venenzo. Pass to Alexander Walker over Wiggins. A shot by Alexander Walker. No good. Oklahoma City trails by six. Lets it go with a three. Joe good. Joe’s got six. And for the defense, that is a heart sinking moment when you see him that wide open from beyond the arc. Evanzo kicks to Edwards over Joe. Edwards can’t hit. Oklahoma City’s gone one of two on three-pointers here in the second quarter so far. Outside Gilgis Alexander to the inside and it’s Wiggins missing. Minnesota leading by three. Here’s Minot. Alexander Walker on the wing. Shoots over Caruso. The shots good from Alexander Walker. He has five. The Thunder have gone one of three to start out the second quarter. And Mark Dagnold calls timeout. He’s going to have a discussion here on the sideline. Edwards with a strong contribution so far in this one. Well, as a coach, you have to make adjustments to put a stop to all the damage he’s doing. The way they’ve defended him is not cutting. Rudy Goar, he’s checked in for the Timberwolves. I Connley comes in for Dante Devenenzo. And then for Oklahoma City, Hartinstein’s checked in for Williams. And it’s Dort in for Isaiah Joe. Here’s Artinstein. Caruso looking for an opening. Double team on Gilg Alexander. Wiggins from outside. Offensive rebound. And so Gobear will bring it up for the Timberwolves. They’ve only allowed five points in the quarter. Nice ball movement by Minnesota. Out to Connley. Pocket four. Gets the three-pointer to fall. Connley’s got the lead up to eight now for the Timber Wolves. I’ll tell you, you give Connley the ball and trust him to make the right decision. It’s stolen by Edwards. And now Minnesota on the fast break and oh boy, a lot of contact there, but he gets the call and will shoot two. This is his first free throw of the game. that free throw missing. Well, the leadership and steadiness Mike Connley brings to his team can’t be overstated. A true locker room leader and a vet who sets a great tone out on the floor. in the second free throw. Good. Oklahoma City trails by nine. Gilis Alexander passes to Wiggins. And here is Dort. Wiggins sets a screen for Dort and the three ball is good. Dort’s got six. And the three-point shot wasn’t always there for Dort, but he’s put in a ton of work on it and shows. Conley kicks to Edwards and finished off by Edwards. And this sort of awesome dunk is one of the reasons this team is in charge of this game. Well, there’s a swagger out there. You can see it on the court that they possess and are not afraid to show it either. Now Gilgis Alexander. Nine points in the game so far. Higgins outside. Hardenstein with a screen on Reed. Nine ft out and it’s wide right. It’s off the rim. Just strong work defensively there in the low post. You got to be tough down in the paint. Yeah, that’s an outstanding defensive stand in close. Wiggins passes to Gilg Alexander. Count the bucket. And he’s got a free throw coming up as well. Strong take by SGA. 66 with point guard skills. What a nightmare matchup he is. This is his second trip to the free throw line. Julius Randles checked in for the Timberwolves. Nick Daniels comes in for Alexander White. He’s checked in for the Thunder. Jaylen Williams comes in for Alex Caruso and just a much better job of attacking and getting to the line here in the second quarter. didn’t have a single attempt in the first. Randle outside. Edwards kicks to McDaniels. The Timberwolves again can’t hit. Oklahoma City trails by six. Homegrren with it. He has six and it’s in there. Homegrren’s got eight points. And looking to get stronger, Homegrrim fights through the bump. Tons of time for him to grow into that frame. Pass to Edwards. Lets it go from deep. That one no good. Another miss. He is struggling for the quarter. Dort passes to Homer and he gets the whistle. Two free throws coming up. That’s on Jaden McDaniels. And something to like about Homegr is his ability to run the floor. a sevenfooter who can get up the court in a hurry and get to the rim before the knee gets set. The first one falls. What I like about Homer, he’s a lot more physical than his frame would indicate. Homer hits them both. And they’re getting to the line a lot in this quarter, guys. And it hasn’t been by accident. Three-pointer. Randall. And the rebound goes for the Thunder. Hartenstein’s got rebound number five here tonight. Dort kicks to Gilis Alexander 13 ft away. That one goes. He’s counted. Gilg Alexander’s got seven now in this quarter. This is SGA’s role. He’s out here to score and score often. Pass to Edwards. Three-pointer gets rebounded by Oklahoma City. Not quite enough defense that time around. Just lucky he was off outside. Gil Alexander. Double team on Gil Alexander. Nice shot by Williams. No good. Defensive breakdown there. And they got lucky. He’s not going to miss too many of those. Whistle blows. Bucket is good. And he’ll have a chance at the line to make it a three-point play. Connley will go to the line here who then won on Dort. He’s made one and missed one so far in the game. Alexander Walker, he’s checked in for Edwards. Then for the Thunder, Isaiah Joe comes in for Dor and it’s Alex Caruso in for Gilgis Alexander. Oklahoma City trails by three. Outside Williams in the hoop for his fourth field goal. Four for seven shooting and looking for more. And there’s a pattern starting to take shape here. They’re working it inside and getting good shots from close range. and Gobear hits to Randall. Kills it from outside. Randle’s got 12. Working on being more consistent with this shot. Randle certainly helping his confidence moving forward. Here’s Joe. He’s got six. Pass to Homer. Oklahoma City moving it around. Just five on the clock. Williams with a clean look and they wasted no time getting those three points back. Williams has got five points now in the quarter and it’s Connley with the ball for Minnesota. Dante Deanza, he’s checked in for Minnesota. And Oklahoma City also making a switch. Wiggins has checked in for Isaiah Joe. Pass to Caruso. Hardenstein with a screen on C. The put back. Can’t throw down the putback. Timberwolves leading by four. Here’s Randall. And the call on the shot. It sends in to the line. And the physicality of Randle’s game. Impressive. It’s what earns him those calls. He’s gone two for two at the line so far. And he knocks down the first one. So he hits one of two from the strike and the rebound battle split evenly thus far. Connley against Caruso. Homer the pass to Williams. Hardenstein with a screen on Dean Jenzo. Five on the clock. It’s good on the football. You know, we talk about it all the time, guys. Now Debenzo, Aster Randall. good for his sixth make in a dozen attempts shooting 50% with that basket. Well, what a quarter he’s had. You can tell he’s in the flow. They should be looking for him every possession. Out the top of the key. Homegrren. No good. That would have tight. Minnesota leading by three. Here’s Connley. Wiggins with the rebound. Wiggins has got his fourth rebound in this one. Pass to Caruso. Now Williams. Back to Caruso. Now here’s Homegrren. It’s good. This game is all even. Homegrren’s got 13 points. For someone who is over 7 ft. Homer is incredible from distance. Randle outside from outside the arc. Rebound by Williams. Williams has got five rebounds tonight. Pass to Caruso driving the lane. So they take the lead. Caruso’s got his second basket of the game. Yeah, Caruso can be tricky like this. Staying unpredictable to get the better of the defender. Devenzo kicks to Randall. You know, Anthony Edwards has been exceptional here, guys. That first half looked like a dunk contest. Mixtape was just destroying the rim. Well, they’ve got to build a wall immediately because he’ll just keep attacking like that if they don’t. Enzo Connley will bring the ball up for Minnesota. Their biggest lead of the game was nine. Taking a look at the Thunder. Lou Dord out there with Gilis Alexander. Then it’s Williams. Then it’s Jen Holren. And it’s Hartenstein in it. Hangs home the trifecta. Williams has got three assists now in this one. Mono emano. This is where it can get a little personal. Well, and as a fan of the game, you have to love these back and forth moments. Artinstein against Goar. Oh, Edwards. Well, when Edwards gets this high, all an opponent can hope to do is limit the damage outside Williams. Back to Gilas Alexander. It falls through making him six for 11 in the game. Well, it’s hard to stop him once he’s at the rim. That’s a strong move. Pass to McDaniels. Back to Connley. The three and Homegrren pulls it down. Just over a minute and a half played here in the third. Outside Gilgis Alexander. Goar with the block. Well, you have to be aware of Goar on the floor. And passes to Connley. Edwards with it. takes the three. Rebound by Williams. Williams has got six rebounds in the game. Stolen by McDaniels. And here’s Randall outside. Edwards shoots over Dort. While we have the chance now, folks, let’s go to our State Farm. assist of the game. Just true artistry right there. I mean, great decision on where to go with the ball and how about the perfect delivery. Wow, that was an absolute masterpiece of an assist. He knew exactly when to deliver the ball and it made for a beautiful score. And it’s been a very competitive game so far as we get rolling here in quarter number four. Dante De Vincenzo. He’s out there with Anthony Edwards and it’s Joe Engles. Then it’s Niku Alexander Walker and it’s Reed and at the F. So that’s the lineup for Minnesota. And here’s Edwards from the arc. Sinks the triple. Edwards got 35 in the game. Well, after dropping in two triples in the first half, he’s now matched that mark here in the second half. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see more of these. And Gilg Alexander understands how to draw contact, especially when he’s looking to score. First free throw is good. Clark, he’s checked in for Minnesota. So he gets them both. Minnesota in the lead. Even Jenzo with it. Pass to Edwards, knocks it loose and stolen by Wiggins. And here we go. Fast break. Wiggins has got it. Uses the glass to finish the layup. No hesitation. He just takes off and takes it the distance. Well, the best way to attack is in transition. He recognizes that outside Edwards. Six to shoot. Reed against Williams. Reed misses. Out of bounds. Minnesota takes possession. The way Greg, they’re sharing the ball tonight. Mesmerizing. Everyone’s getting to touch it and and everyone contributing. Edwards can’t hit. Yeah. Well, that’s a shot the defense is probably going to let him keep taking. Williams kicks to Caruso. Here’s Gilas Alexander. Basket counts. Gilas Alexander’s got four this quarter. Oh, silky smooth shot there by Gil Alexander. He knew the floater was the right move to beat the defense. Out of the Raptors. He punched it in. Are you kidding me, man? What a move by Edwards. That was phenomenal. Behind the lane and Edwards no good on that one for Oklahoma City. They’ve gone two of three from the field to get the fourth quarter start. Higgins outside pass to Caruso. Higgins outside the tray. It’s Clark with the rebound. Minnesota shooting at 51%. Really solid. Here’s Devenenzo. Reed with a screen for Clark. Off the mark there with the three-point shot. And it’s Williams with the ball for the Thunder. Wiggins passes to Gilg Alexander. A rebound by the Timberwolves. Edwards got his fifth rebound right now in the game. The Timberwolves again can’t hit. Right side. Williams takes the assist and lays it in. Picked out the pass nicely and the Thunder lead by two. Minnesota’s gone one and three from outside the arc since we’ve reached the fourth quarter. Venenzo passes to Alexander Walker. That puts them in the lead. And guys, here in the fourth quarter, still a close game. Instant classic, fellas. This one could come right down to the last shot. Here’s Gilg Alexander rebounded by the Timberwolves. Their biggest lead of the game was nine. And now Minnesota on the fast break. And that one’s good by Clark. And coming down the stretch here, both teams still on fire. Yeah, in hopes that your opponent is just going to go cold. That’s not going to happen. It doesn’t look like in this one. This might go down to whoever has the last possession. And there hasn’t been anything easy for him in this period. Well, the offense has to look for ways to get him easier shots, better selections. You have to be set up for success. Minnesota making a switch. Conley’s checked in. Dort. He’s checked in for the Thunder. Poked away. And the Thunder pushing it up now. and he gets off the fast break with a monster slam. Yeah, what a steal and what an effort from Caruso in transition. Up top, Edwards defended by Dor. The muscle from Edwards. Great touch there. It’s just so tough to defend a floater like that. Gilg Alexander passes to Williams. Gilis Alexander kicks to Dort puts it up and dead on that time. Beautiful shot. Obviously Dort wants to be a dependable option offensively and he’s put in the work to make that happen. Pass to Alexander Walker and he finishes nicely on the way. Now with Xander Walker who’s got five points now this quarter and so far in the second half this has been a different kind of game than what we saw early on. Yeah, you can see it in the hustle stats. These guys have come out with a different mindset and seem much more motivated here in the second half. And those are the types of shots down the stretch that win you ball game for Minnesota. They’ve gotten into a pretty good groove going six of 10 here in the final quarter. They set the pick. Conley with the three. Rebound by Williams. Williams has got rebound number five here tonight. Pass to Gilg Alexander. Williams has a screen for Gilas Alexander. It’s Dort on the wing. Lock at six to take the lead. Rebounded by the Timberwolves. Conley’s got six rebounds here tonight. Wiggins drives in and Wiggins throws it down. That’s a stomach punch, guys. Turn it over and give him a free run to the bucket. Oh, you’re so right. No question who has the momentum now. A sequence like that really does sting. I’ll tell you that. And that was the right call. When you need a basket, go to the guys you trust the most. Yeah, he got a good look and he calmly delivered for them. That’s what you like to see. Gildas Alexander passes to Dort. Williams has a screen for Dort and he can’t answer back. The three-pointer offline. Connley against Dort. out to Edwards. Fires the three, hits it again. Wow. And he’s on tear offensively, lining up the scoreboard with emer. And how about this? He now holds the team’s single game record for postseason scoring. Gil Alexander good. With great positional size, Gilas Alexander can finish over defenders. And what a response from these incredible fans. So in tune with the game and what he’s accomplished, he’s got the franchise record for points in a playoff game. He is going off when it matters most. And some changes here for the Timberwolves. Rudy Gobear, he’s checked in for Reed. Julius Randle comes in for Clark. And it’s McDaniels in for Nquille Alexander Walker. The Thunder also changing it up. Hartinstein. He’s checked in for Williams. Comes in for Aaron Wiggins. And it’s Williams in for Alex Caruso. And now we’ve got some time to check in from the sidelines. You got for us DA? Hey guys, I listened in on what Chris Finch was talking about with his players. Now with the game in the balance, coach told his team to play loose. Don’t overthink it. We got this far playing our game and we can win the same way. Back to you guys. Thank you, David. Connley finds McDaniel. Down to five on the shot clock. Minnesota needs to get off a shot here. Edwards no good for Oklahoma City. They’ve gone eight of 16 from the field in the fourth. Exactly 50%. Hil Alexander deciding where to go with it. Here’s Homer. The kick out to Williams. Hits the three-point bomb. Williams has got 11 points here in just the second half. Three triples in the first half, three in the second. Boy, do they add up. Outside Edwards Goar with a screen on Torch down low and finished off by Go. Yeah, it just seems like every year Edwards gets more comfortable running the pick and roll. And here’s Gilis Alexander. He’ll bring it up for the Thunder. They trail by one. Edwards against Dort back to Gilas Alexander over Connley. Gilas Alexander can’t get it to go. Minnesota’s got eight shots off from three-point land and hit half of them. Here’s McDaniels and that one clearly a foul. Gets the whistle and two shots coming up. Well, McDaniels is a physical player. He doesn’t mind getting roughed up a bit while trying to score. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. and he makes the first. And you think back to when McDaniels was drafted, everyone talked about his potential. Now they’re talking about his consistency as a contributor, especially at the defensive end. and McDaniels drops them both. Now here’s Gilg Alexander outside. Williams shot from free throw range and it’s good off the back of the rim and in. Gilis Alexander got 14 points here in the second half. Randle outside. McDaniels gets a wide open look. No good on the three. Well, sometimes it’s just not your night, but despite his struggles, they’re ahead in the game. Pass to Homegrren. Here’s Hartinstein. And here is Williams. Shot clock at five. And here’s Gilis Alexander outside. Minnesota in the lead. Connley kicks to McDaniels. Goar with it. Go double team. And here’s Edwards from the arc. Gil Alexander with the rebound. Gilas Alexander’s got his fourth rebound in this one. Williams. Minnesota with the rebound. Their biggest lead of the game was nine. Edwards drives in. Good T by Williams. What an opportunity here. Yeah. A chance to take the lead. This is huge. And two free throws coming up. Unable to get that one to go with all the content. It’s on Anthony Edwards. Who needs the NBA draft? I mean, Dort worked his way onto the team into the rotation and then turns into a key contributor. First free throw is good and that ties the game up. And the second free throw. No good. A tough break right there. Over in the corner. Conlin. Here’s the three. Gets it to go from beyond the arc and the Timberwolves lead by three. Well, who else but the steady veteran Mike Connley comes through with the time lead and it goes down two points. And what a shot from Gilg Alexander. This guy isn’t afraid of the moment. Wow. And Edwards with the stop. Wow. You need a bucket, give it to Edwards. He’s got that clutch key. Gil Alexander against Con gets the bucket and the foul. Michael Conley picks one up. That is world class. Yeah. And I can say from experience his coach just breathed a huge silent lead. He knocks down the clutch free throw. Well, make no mistake. This is exactly who they want at the line in this situation. Here’s Edwards. It’s rebounded by Hartinstein. The shot’s there for him and he’s got to take it. I don’t care if he doesn’t convert. That’s a shot he has to continue to take. Oh, staying cool in a clutch moment. Homer not letting his inexperience get the best of him. And so Chris Finch calls for the timeout. Coach clearly feeling the necessity to regroup with so much at stake here in terms of strategy here. Any thoughts? Hey, they do have enough time here if they shoot quickly to get the two for one, but we’ll see if they try. 35 seconds left in the fourth quarter. That’s just being a pro. Connley understanding the moment and rising to the occasion. And Mark Dagno calls timeout. And he knows there’s no room for mistakes and wants everyone on the same page. Now 8 seconds separating the two clocks. Here’s Gilis Alexander money. And where some feel stressed, Gilgus Alexander feels strength. Love the confidence from the young fell. And we’ve got a timeout called from Chris Finch. No doubt he is feeling the importance of this moment right now. Thoughts on what coach wants to do here? And they’ve got plenty of time to get a basket. No doubt. But they might have to draw up something that the defense isn’t expecting. Here is Edwards. There’s 21 seconds left to play here in the fourth. Money. Wow. These are the moments that Edwards lives for. He is dynamite in the clutch. And Mark Dagno calls timeout. This is a huge moment folks in this game and he wants to be prepared. Connley against Gil just Alexander. Yes. And look at that look inside. Recognized the mismatch and took advantage. Oh, they shot in a chance, but no good. So, a close game sees Oklahoma City taking this one. And now they’re sitting on a commanding three games to one lead. They’ve grabbed this series by the throat, brick. And I don’t think they’re going to let it go. You could see the determination they had tonight. They don’t want to drag this series out. They want to get this thing over with.
