I think we should keep Blake because he could be coming off the bench
He is going to be a 3rd string who barely plays. It's better to get a serious vet in his place.
We already extended Malaki & Blake through the 25-26 season. I don't know what this is about.
Losing Branham would be whatever, but losing Blake would actually feel like a loss. He had potential and worked hard out there defensively

Malaki Branham asked to go to the G league to remain polished. He is a good player, just not suited for the Spurs as they're currently configured.
Wesley was a project from the start. He’s made enough progress to deserve a spot at the end of the roster.
Malaki belongs in the NBA – bit in a better fit than the Spurs system.
Respectfully get Branham up out of here. Blake can get minutes with the Austin Spurs. 🤷🏾♂️
Wesley has been sharing a ton of cryptic stuff on instagram lately even before the lottery. I don’t think it’s spurs related. Could be personal reasons, he recently lost a family member a couple of months ago too.
According to windhorst a lot of the spurs depth will be gone in a few years due to surrounding Wemby around more talented role players .
Now that im sold and all in for Dylan and #2 on Draft Day…i will be mad if Dallas swaps with us and gives us Flagg!
I TOO was disappointed when didn't get the 1st i was grateful for 2nd because we could've been 3rd or 8th.
But i'd just be like ERRR i was "ALL IN" on Dylan lol
And you gotta think about his feelings that hes gonna be drafted by us and he'll be playing with Wemby, Castle and so on and now hes being told he's going to Dallas….i know deep down he'll be like "AW FUGG"…I'd feel bad for him. I wouldn't want to go either.

Some insider information: Branham and Wesley are for sure gone next season. I have a friend who works with UTSA mens basketball team and he heard from the head coach that they are donzo. Sad about Wesley tbh because I really liked his energy, but he'll fit better on another team.
The team options of Malaki and Blake have already been exercised. But both contracts are now excellent assets to be used in trades.
However if Malaki cannot play for the Spurs (because he cost too much in term of negative NetRating [-13.3 pre-allstar]), on the contrary, Blake Wesley is positive in term of NetRating [+3.7 pre-allstar].
I then definitely think that the Spurs should lose Blake only if a trade requests his expiring contract to be successful.
Harper will be a primary ball handler in NBA and he should start his career by leading the second unit of SA. But as a third PG option, Blake would be great.
But if the Spurs want to draft three times this summer and attract several vet (even some at minimum), the management could choose to free the roster's spots as much as possible.
PS : Devin Vassel is -7.3 and Keldon Johnson is -7.9 in term of NetRating pre-allstar !!! (I don't take into account the post-allstar NetRating because the two best players were not in the team).

Blake has had 3 years. Great hustle and defense, but his minutes have decreased every year. If the Spurs draft a point guard at #2, Wesley moves closer to the end of the bench, or he's traded.
I'd love to see us swap draft picks with Dallas and give them a future first round pick or two to get Flag. They need Harper more than we do. We all know Flag should develop with a young core and not be thrown into the fire with a bunch of old vets looking to win now.

Blake is a defensive menace but hard to sell w/o any offensive threat.
Malaki seems a good 3rd stringer and certainly has offensive upside.
