My favorite options are jaylen brown or devin booker or derrick white , cam johnson as an upgrade, payton pritchard would be a nice small upgrade! The rockets 🚀 need a significant upgrade!
Jaylen Brown is the best option after Booker! At least he has that dog mentality. Booker has been to the finals in the past but leadership is not there. JB very expensive tho and Booker and Booker will have to be paid ton of money too
Look at OKC with Caruso, no need to star hunt. Get championship players around the young guys! KD is the obvious choice
Jaylen Brown is our move. trade FVV, Landale, the # 10 pick and the 27 and 29 Phoenix picks for Brown. it gives Boston cap rekief and 3 lottery picks and brings Houston it's star. Brown is a star, but won't cost nearly what Gianna will cost
I Iike the idea of Tyler Herro or maybe Payton or White from the Celtics. They would be better fits than Jaylen Brown. Also more cost effective.
It is obvious that no available player perfectly fits this team. Brown's contract will soon be the worst one in the league. Lamelo is the most stupid basketball player I have ever seen, and not efficient, and can't play 40 games in a year. Ja Morant, ohh, I don't wanna see such a criminal in Rockets jersey and not too much better than Jalen. Giannis doesn't fit and will cost a lot. Cam Thomas or Cam Johnson type shooter can't make us a contender. Tyler Hero is not a good basketball player which is proved after Butler trade and by bringing him here, you will make fans and amen mad. Trae Young is the last pg. Ime would like to see in his team. Man, we just needed Luka, and Adam Silver sold him to the Lakers. We need Brunson or Edwards, or maybe Mitchell and they r successful at their teams. If it were only for one of Cam/Reed plus salary fillers and a pick, Kevin Durant would be the best option. If the Suns want to trade Booker to us, without losing core 3 I mean Amen Sengun and Jabari, I am ok for Booker too, unless they give him supermax. I think we have too wait one more year before making a big move.
In regards to Hero, if you defend putting defense around a offensive player, why not Cam
I just hear a bunch of Green hate. Almost every guy you mentioned is older than him and not the main offensive focal point and are not winners. You want to upgrade your Young 20 pt per game scores instead of your two older players who cost more and aren't getting better. Upgrade Fred or Brooks not your young stars. Yall forget at all star there were questions of who would be ours. Those two were Alpi and Green..just saying

This sounds like just shiny toy hunting. This weird idea of addition by subtraction but none of these ideas are worth breaking up both the continuity that got you the number 2 seed or the assets. They should only be trading for all stars.
We don’t want NONE of these so called superstars..especially JBrown. No need to to trade JG.. bc of his first ever playoff appearance. He’ll rebound. Any trade we make Will involve FV DB JL contracts..we’re only up grading our Vets..bc our young core are all Keepers! Now I wouldn’t mind the Rocs trading Reed and our own next 1st rd pick to move up and grab Tre J..then with our 10th pick grab Clayton Walter Jr. as our PG. Use FV DB and JL contracts(74 mil) to upgrade our shooting game with better VeTs..
I’m okay with bringing in Zach because it will only cost you FV..swap. I would then be ready to trade Reed are CW and 1 of our own 1st rd pick to move up and get Tre Johnson..then pick Clayton Jr. with our 10th pick as our pg over Reed. we will lose all our UFA’s except SA.Over all we can’t bring FV back at 45 mil..as long as we keep Amen Jabari and Tari we can trade DB 20 mil for a shooter. But I’m cool with Zach. No herro bro! I’m not helping NONE of these teams with these overrated and overpaid players that’s gonna want a supermax extension..
I think the worst move the Rockets could make is going after a mid tier star making over 55 mil a year that can't be the main creator, scored and ball handler. Jalen Green @ 30 mil/year > Jalen Brown @ 60mil/year. I like them standing pat and giving these guys another year to develop over forcing something that blows our load, isn't a perfect fit and speeds up the clock on the financial headaches. In other words no meh dudes getting paid like top dudes.
Tyler Hero and Lamelo Ball make a lot of sense
Why is everyone so anxious to dismantle this team all we need is a shooter where we don’t have to destroy the team for a star and still not win let’s run it back

I totally agree with you all, the Rockets should definitely get rid of Jalen Green and whoever they sign, even if he's not a perfect guy, none can be worst than Jalen..!
If you can't fix the mistakes of can not drafting or transfering C.Cunningham or C.Braun (like Sengun), at least sign Hero or the Rockets will once again fall to the bottom of the West..!
And no need for the Giannis madness, just go get K.D. while it's still possible..!
Stop drafting garbage time players like Reed, Cam, Jalen, Tari, Jabari, no team other than the Rockets would draft any of them in the top 10..! USE THE PICKS TO TRADE FOR PROVEN ELITE NBA PLAYERS..!

I think to make the offense flow a lot better, lamelo is the strongest target other than the durant or giannis deals. Hes the best playmaker and handler out of the other guys and can keep the ball safe. Most of thr guys onnour team struggle to hold on to the ball in handling situations. I strongly prefer lamelo. Defensively, he could be molded; hes a tall and long point who is fairly athletic. He wants to play winning basketball so he may be willing to listen and learn and see what it takes. We already have great help defense so his defensive mishaps can be hidden until they improve. Hes 23 which fits our timeline perfectly. I love the idea and how reed plays but i wouldnt be mad if we chase for lamelo and dont get rid of vanvleet, reed would be ok to be traded. Idk i feel like our biggest issue was our halfourt sets and playing pnr hoping something would happen if we cut. We need to have a guy who can control an offense and use our guys to their best ability and i think lamelo is a threat from deep and is the best passer out of the other options. He has great vision, and that would allow us to have better motions off ball he could get cutters or rollers easy looks. I think hes the best choice to trade for, might even be a world we dont need to trade a major core piece away since we have so many assets that dont make the rotation.
Would rather get Derrick White from Boston. Just keep the team the same otherwise
If Jaylen Brown is too expensive, get Kyrie Irving. He's paid slightly less than FVV by the Mavericks. Trade Jalen Green and maybe Cam Whitmore for him. That's two young stars that Mavericks could make use of.
I wish Cam Whitmore was played more instead of Jalen by the Rockets, but Ime Udoka and Rafael Stone didn't have the vision. The FO bet on the wrong horse.

I say we just go to fee agency unless someone drops a trade we cant resist. Our side getting more than the other team(s). We are wanting to win now. But i still think theres other lineups ime could try since the young guys got a little more experience now. Even reed and cam. I really dont want to get rid of either of those guys but at the same time id love to see them flourish even if its not with us.
I love Zach lavin, lamelo ball and Tyler hero they all with 1 leg 1 eye and 1 hand can play better then Jalen green 😂😅😂
