Suns need draft personnel who can evaluate what talent will become and not just simply what talent used to be.

Brendon, exactly no more little or undersized guys. They need to value athleticism and size/defense over offense.
I'm putting this out there and I am biased as I am from Melbourne Australia. I have been saying we need a primary ball handler since CP3 was traded (I didn't like it btw). Jones was good early but never really was anything like CP3 and KD is a superstar but you want him shooting, not handling as he does have TO issues. I can see makeshift 5's working but Book needs to be an SG, not a PG. Beal isn't either and I am yet to understand trading for him. Ben Simmons is a dime factory. If he is fit, his height allows him to command the floor, and get a good amount of boards for a PG. His shooting is really not there and I doubt it will be but there are plenty of others who can and will score the ball and the sacrifice on scoring is worth it IMO. If the suns could get simmons on a friendly 1 or 2 year deal (and if he can be fit), I think he works.
I remember refreshing Twitter as Halliburton was falling in the draft. When it became time for the Suns to pick, I thought we got him. And when they announced Jalen Smith, I said who?
If they are valuing size Booker needs to be the “point guard”. The model is how SGA is the “point guard” on OKC despite not being a natural playmaker
