LIVE: Knicks vs Pacers Game 4 | 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Finals 🔥 May 27, 2025 2K25

point break. Yeah, each of these teams are anchored by their big men. I think it’s going to be physical and highly intensified. And now the New York Knicks starters. Bridges out there with Jaylen Brunson. Then there’s Towns. Then it’s OG Anobi. And it’s Robinson in at the five roaming the paint. Bangs home the trifecta. Yeah, you got to get out on that. Seakum demonstrating that ability to hurt you from beyond. Out to Bridges. Some nice passing by New York here on Anobi. Nailed from three-point land. And an eye for an eye. Both teams working to stretch the floor. Nothing like answering back. One team gets three, you fire three of your own. Boom. Nemhard with it. Defended by Bridges. [Music] [Applause] The shot by Turner, no good. And so it’s Brunson with it. He brings it up for the New York Knicks. Virtually no way to stop Towns. He’s extremely dangerous that close to the bucket. [Applause] Hallebertton against Brunson. Turner with a screen for Hallebertton. Nemhard with it. Defended by Bridges. Just five to shoot. Baseline. Jay on the way. Nice shot by Nehard. No good. You’re not going to see that very often. Plenty of space, but he just, let’s face it, he whiffs on that. Bridges kicks to Brunson. [Applause] And again, it’s New York. No doubt. Brunson committed to getting his rhythm. He wants to be a provider on the scoreboard. [Applause] Turner with a screen on Bridges. Will it go? Nimhard. Shot is good. And once he got to the 10, I think he was surprised to find himself that wide open. Well, this early they should be showing a lot more energy on defense. It’s not there. Bounce pass from Bridges. Anobi passes to Towns. [Applause] Brunson surveying the D. Oh, staying strong inside. Brunson going right into the coverage to get the call. The Knicks shooting their first free throws. First trip to the line in this one. Yeah, a year ago though, Kevin, 78% conversion rate from the free throw line. So that’s a nice allaround effort. [Applause] And that one falls for Brunson. [Applause] [Applause] And both free throws good for Brunson. And what an advantage. You really feel like you can always trust him when he’s at the line. Mark, these Indiana Pacers play at one of the quickest paces of any team in the NBA. Yeah, I love the fact that it’s quite fitting considering the nickname Indiana Pacers and they do set the pace. They love to push that rock and they do it relentlessly. Catching you before your defense can get set. It’s a beautiful way to play. Tell you what though, you got to be in great shape to make it work. New York no good that time either. Indiana trailing here with a short break in the action. gives us a chance now to send it over to David Aldridge. Thanks, Kevin. Rick Carlile and I did speak a few minutes ago and they’re focused on limiting one of the best shooting bigs ever in Carl Anthony Towns. Now, coach said earlier Towns is a machine on the offensive end will try to make Kat into a passer, get the ball out of his hands. We’ll see if they can accomplish that. Kevin, thanks so much, David. Here’s Hallebertton. Mitchell Robinson making his last shot. Robinson pulls it in. New York leading by four. Here’s Hanobi. It’s rebounded by Indiana. Pass to Nehar. And here’s Hallebert. Here’s Neard defended by Bridges and the rejection by Towns. Shoots the three. It’s good from long range. And he likes to get in a rhythm early. Nice triple. They need a good offensive possession. Yeah, they’ve gone a long time without a bucket. And Rick Carile decides to call timeout. He wants to regroup and go over the strategy. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Here’s Nehard. [Applause] Pass to Turner. Turner with a screen for Siakum. Back to Turner. Score of the basket. Nice shot after missing his first attempt. does a nice job at capitalizing in the screen and roll. I mean, Turner’s IQ and size tough to contain when he’s rolling to the basket. Brunson the pass to an open now. Bridges pass to Brunson. Just five on the clock. It’s good for a second make. He’s made two of three so far. playing bigger than he looks. Brunson has a lot of heart. [Applause] Hallebertton in a screen on Bridges. Nehard finds Yakum. Nehard with it. Defended by Bridges. Now Nehard Seakum for three. Hits it from three-point range. Seakum’s got a couple of threes now in the first for Indiana. Bridges outside. Here’s Brunson. The shot will not fall. Excellent defense there from Hallebertton. Seakum outside. Indiana moving it around. [Applause] Captain Mhard. Hallebertton for three. Flex pull it in. Not quite enough defense that time around. Just lucky he was off. Anobi passes to Bridges. [Applause] Pass to Robinson. [Applause] and foul on the shot. So, he’ll get a chance at the line and it’s going to be on Miles Turner. Yeah, way to play in attack mode and get to the line. And you know, the defense gets their money’s worth on that foul, stopping the layup and not giving up the and one. [Applause] First one falls for it. [Applause] [Applause] And so he hits both. Here’s Hallebertton. And so it’s Rick Carile here calling timeout. He wants to make some adjustments to the game plan. [Applause] Clearly Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Here’s Nemhard defending. by Bridges. Pass to Turner and Mitchell Robinson is going to pick up the foul. That’s his first foul. [Applause] Turner with a screen on Towns. Stolen by Robinson and he was camped in just the right spot to swipe that pass away down low. Out to Bridges. Good. And the assist goes to town. Bridges has got six. No hesitation from Bridges. He gets the ball and is primed to take that shot. Siakum passes to Matherine. [Applause] Seakum outside. [Applause] Five on the [Applause] clock. Elbow shot is on the way. It’s rebounded by Anobi. And so Anobi will bring it up for the Knicks. Nine-point game. Nemard with it. He’s picked up by Anobi. Poked loose. Pass to Turner outside for Hallebertton. That three off the mark and and he has definitely been struggling in this quarter. You know, guys, it seems to me as though he’s over anxious. He seems to be pressing, trying too hard, moving too fast. Just needs to calm himself down and wait for good shots. Now, Ziako after the miss three from Carl Anthony Towns comes past Nemhard. Here’s Turner up and in. Off to an efficient start. Two for three from the field. Exceptional skills for Turner down in the paint. This guy, I think, has the potential to be a dominant player inside for a lot of years. Now, here’s Towns. Back to Brunson. Good. And the assist goes to Towns. He’s got eight. And a nice job here early of establishing an inside presence. Nemhard. The pass to Hallebertton. Wants to get it to Turner and does. Indiana moving it around and now the fast break. Bridges with the ball. Pass to Brunson. Back to [Applause] Bridges. Brunson up top. Remard covering. Off target there. That would have pushed the lead to double digits. Allebertton with it now. Turner runs and covering and he converts the layup. Turner’s got six. I tell you what, it’s it’s almost like stealing to watch how he plays the game from this seat. And Tom Thibido decides to call timeout. He’s made the decision he wants to huddle up with his [Applause] guys. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] So, an entirely new group in now for Indiana. Obby Toppins checked in for Miles Turner. Aaron Nesmith comes in for Benedict Matan. Shepard’s checked in for Andrew Nhard. And it’s TJ McConnell in for Hallebertton. And a new group in for the Knicks. Aua, he’s checked in for Robinson. Josh Hard comes in for OG Anobi. Miles McBride’s checked in for Bridges. And it’s Payne in for Jaylen Brunson. Now here’s Towns. Pass to McBrun. Good. And the assist goes to Towns. Towns has got three assists now in this one. I I like their focus coming in. Terrific execution so far. And you know, it’s an allout effort. They’ve come in with very aggressive offense so far. 144 left in the first. Pass to Town over Seakum. And that one’s good. Towns. Towns has got his second bucket of the game to go. You see the way Towns is able to extend over the defense. Just too long, too big to be guarded effectively, especially when he gets this deep. Seakum finds Toppin and and typically he has the touch to finish when he’s in tight, but not sure on that possession. Here’s McBride. That’s his second shot and his second basket. He’s two for two. Their play on both ends has been superb. We we’ll see if they can maintain the momentum and you know nothing like getting an opponent on the ropes early. You love that if you’re on that side of the scoreboard and they are landing some haymakers now and the allaround game of Siaka so adept at working the ball to open guys. [Applause] Now here’s Payne. He’s covered by [Applause] McConnell. Here’s Towns from down in the low post it goes. Towns has got six points. Yeah, they they have gone full throttle from the opening tip, showing no signs of letting up. And you know, when you’ve got a chance to put a team away early, you got to take it. And Toppin throws it down. and hard to decide which was better, the pass, the catch, or the slam. Well, there’s no wrong answer. S sensational alley. Tell you what, you wouldn’t know they’re the team trailing when they’re able to pull off plays like that. Over in the corner, McBride. Oh, good on the triple. Got it up. Unable to get that one. And so it’s the New York Knicks ahead by nine as the quarter comes to a close. Their shooting has been the big key. Their percentage from the field so far has been terrific. We come back right after this. [Applause] [Applause] And if you’re just tuning in, we’ve got a wide margin on the scoreboard, but uh plenty of time left for a comeback. What do you guys think so far about the offensive approach for the Knicks? You know, so far in this one, these guys have been knocking it down from distance. You’ve got to like their confidence as this game continues. They’re on the nice roll. And I also like how they’ve trusted one another with the rock, creating shots by keeping the ball moving. Greg, every year injuries are a huge factor in shaping the title race. And I’m guessing that teams should probably put more of a premium on durability. What do you think? Well, Kevin, I think all GMs take that into account. A team wants to be confident it’ll have a stable roster over the course of a long season. Isaiah Jackson out there with Toppin. There’s CJ McConnell. Then there’s Tyrese Hallebertton and it’s Smith in at the three. So that’s the group out there for Indiana. Hallebertton was hungry for that hoop. Taking the ball right to the rack and drawing the foul. [Applause] And he’ll be shooting his first free throw of the game here. And a very steady season for him at the Charity Stripe last year. He was right at 85%. And guys, the numbers don’t lie. I mean, he was such a reliable presence at the free throw line all throughout last season. The Knicks making a switch here. Sims has checked in. One shot. [Applause] I tell you, one of the things I’ve noticed about Hallebertton is his endurance, man. It is off the charts. He’s always pushing the pace and really outworking other guys most of the time. He’s constantly revving up the motor and taking things up a notch. Deep Brunson Pacers with the rebound. Now here’s McConnell. He has yet to score. Pass to Hallebertton. That’s good. And it’s McConnell with the assist. I think because Hallebertton can knock down that three with regularity, you got to defend him closely at all times. Steps back and fires. Brunson good. Brunson’s got 10. How good is that? I mean, he can make a defender look foolish at times. Toppin finds Allebertton. Here’s McConnell. [Applause] Jackson. A screen on Brunson. Six to shoot. Here’s McConnell. [Applause] Allebertton looking around. The tray. It’s all in by Aua. The Knicks leading by five. Now here’s Hart. Defense right on him. Runs in the pass to Aua. And they pick up two. And it’s McConnell with the ball. He’ll bring it up for the Indiana Pacers. At the elbow to [Applause] Back to McConnell. Let it go with a three. They grab their own miss. Here’s Jackson. Misses the layup. He had him with that bump fake. Hard. The pass to Brunson. Here’s McBride. Rebounded by Jackson. Jackson’s got his fourth rebound with that last one here tonight. [Applause] McConnell kicks to Chopin. McConnell sets a screen for Choppin. And Toppin throws it down. He just punched the ticket on that one. That’ll get the job done. Powerful two hand jam. I tell you what, if he’s got a few more of those in him, this lead will really start shrinking. Now here’s Hart. Scoreless thus far. Oh, he’s going to put that one in his scrapbook. Insane dump. And now they’re starting to rub it in. Build up a lead. And here we go, baby. It is showtime. And why not? A little salt in the wound. The more plays they make like that, the more they’ll have these guys reeling and on the ropes. Here’s Hallebertton. Eight points for him. [Applause] Pass Denise Smith. Now here’s Top. The shot is good and so is his shooting tonight. Three for four. And he’ll take it right into the teeth of the D without thinking twice about it. Brunson against McConnell. [Applause] McBride with the ball. Five points in the game. Here’s Sims. Boom. He jams it straight down. There it is, guys. One of those effort plays that makes a big difference in the game. And GA, it is definitely making a difference so far today. Well, you know, if you’re not going to take care of the defensive glass, it’s going to be hard to come away with the win. knee. Smith can’t get it to go. New York leading by seven to the wing right side. McBride passes to Brunson. [Applause] And here’s McConnell. No scoring in this one to the middle. [Applause] Now here’s Nesmith. Defended by Hart. Four on the clock. Shot high post. The rebound by McBride. New York’s gone 02 from deep here in the second. Pass to Brunson. [Applause] to the paint. Aua kicks to Hart. Here’s Brunson and contact on the shot. So, he’ll be shooting free throws here. And there is a lot to like about Jaylen Brunson’s game. He pays attention to the details. The Knicks shooting their fifth and six free throws of the game. Heat. Heat. [Applause] That one is off. So an entirely new group in now for Indiana. Miles Turner, he’s checked in for Jackson. Pascal Seakum comes in for Tophen. Benedict Mathan, he’s checked in for Aaron Nesmith. And Andrew Nehard’s subbed in for TJ McConnell. [Applause] He hits the second from the line. Here’s Hallebertton. He’s got eight. Pass to Matan. Turner with a screen on Anobi. takes it out to Seakkum over Towns and that one comes up a bit short. The Knicks leading by eight runs in the pass to Towns and the Knicks miss again. Indiana’s gone one of four from three-point range in the second. Not a whole lot dropping out there for them. Nemar the pass to Syakum and it’s out of bounds. The Knicks will take it the other way. That is just a careless turnover. You’ve got to be smarter in those exchanges. Here’s Brunson. 11 points in the game. Bridges [Applause] outside. Towns gets it to go from beyond the arc. Towns has got nine points. Towns is money off the catch and shoot. Pacers trail by 11. And Rick Carile decides to call timeout. He’s going to have a discussion here on the sideline. It’s time now to hear from our Hall of Fame reporter, David Aldridge. What’s the latest, David? Kevin, Commissioner Silver has been direct. The NBA is hoping for more competitive All-Star games. Now, they’ve said as much before, but last year’s highscoring All-Star game did precede the league’s not so subtle move to cut down on foul calls and allow for more defense overall. They are trying to get it right, Kevin. And it couldn’t be a great game without defense, so we like the direction. DA, thank [Applause] you. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] down. [Applause] Turn it off. Turn it off. New York on D. Hallebertton and passes to Matherine. Seakum outside. Sinks the three-pointer. Seakum’s got 11 points. Rise and fires. This is Seakkum’s attitude off the catch. And with these results, you understand why. Rom Brunson. Pascal Seakum grabs the miss. Pass to Turner. Neard with it. Indiana moving it around. Anobi against Seakum. Five to shoot. Got it. Good job in the low post. Seakum’s got five points now this quarter. Oh, the numbers speak for themselves. Seakkum showing great versatility on the offensive [Applause] end. Towns against [Applause] Seakum. Towns kicks to Anobi outside. [Applause] Towns tries to save it and they recover it out to the wing. [Applause] Second chance shot that falls. Nice feed that time from Brunson. He’s got 11. I’d keep going to towns inside. I mean, it’s not complicated. He’s got awesome touch. Plus, he’s 611 and almost 300 lbs. Now, here is Hallebert. He’s got eight. Here’s Turner. Indiana needs to get a shot off. Seakam’s shot is off. The Knicks leading by eight. Anobi passes to Bridges. Outside Towns. Robinson dishes to Bridges. Outside Towns. Shot clock at six. Here’s Brunson. [Applause] the kick out to Anobi. Pass to Town. New York needs to get off a shot. Fires the three. That’s the sixth make from the field. He’s taken nine shots and missed but three. Towns can do some exciting stuff on the floor. We’re seeing it from him here in this one. strong move to the 10 trying to get his guys going. Hard not to get motivated, GA, right when your teammate makes that kind of play. Yeah, you know, when you’re looking to close the gap, you need guys who will take it upon themselves to step up, take the initiative and make something happen. And the timeout called here by Tom Thibido. This will give them a chance to discuss some potential alterations. Heat. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] The Pacers making a switch here. McConnell’s checked in. And New York with a change here, too. Miles McBride’s checked in for Jaylen Brunson. [Applause] The Knicks leading by nine pass to Town. [Applause] And here is Bridges. The rebound by Turner down low. Here’s Siaka. And right there you see the impact of Seiakum’s length. So tough to defend once he gets to his spot. It’s his first trip to the line. And from the line a season ago, 73%. Shooting [Applause] two. He misses the free throw. [Applause] on the miss. And the second free throw good. New York leading by eight now. McBride. He has five. Here’s Hanobi and it’s Matin with the rebound. Pasers have gone seven of 15 from the field here in the second quarter. Just under 50% shooting. [Applause] Inside. Here’s Turner and he banks in the layup. 10 points for Miles Turner. You know, for Turner, I think it’s all about staying aggressive. I mean, when he does that, he’s capable of converting over tough defense. Pass to Anonobi. Back to McBride. Here’s Robinson. They kick out to Towns down low and stolen by McConnell. Fast break. Here comes Indiana. Here’s Matarin. The layup off target. Bridges [Applause] outside. 103 left in the first half. An Obi with the screen for Bridges. Got a piece of it. Yeah, nice effort there and tracking down the long rebound. Pass to Near. Back to Methin. wants to get it to Robinson and does at the elbow. It’s Yakam. It’s rebounded by New York. Robinson’s got rebound number eight now on the night. Anobi outside. Towns kicks to [Applause] Anobi. Back to Towns. They need this one. And another one in the scoring column for him. He’s seven of 10 from the field. Towns takes a lot of pride in knocking down threes. He’s as gifted a shooter as we have at the center position. McConnell passes to Turner. And here is Siako defended by Towns. [Applause] It’s been all about Carl Anthony Towns for the New York Knicks. He comes away with 11 points in the quarter and is showing no signs of fatigue. And now let’s catch up with David Aldridge who’s standing by from the sideline. All right, Dave. Thanks a lot. Here with Tom Tibido. Coach, what has gone well for your team in the first half? Started making plays, you know, play unselfishly, force the defense to shift, attack, get downhill, then make a play. Your guys followed the instructions to the letter. Thanks, coach. Back to you guys. Okay, David, much appreciated. And now time for halftime. So, we’ll be back in just a bit to get the third quarter [Applause] [Applause] underway. Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Applause] And for those of you just tuning in, thanks for being with us. The second half of this game still to play. Colonel Anthony Towns has been sensational, man. He’s been running wild on him through that first half. Absolute dynamite on offense. And you know what? I’ll be interested to see just how much he’s got left in the tank. That first half had to take a lot out [Applause] of. Here’s Brunson. Here’s who Tom Tibido is starting the second half with. We’ve got Anobi. Towns is out there with Robinson. Then it’s Jaylen Brunson. And it’s Bridges in at the two goal. New York now working with the new shot clock. Robinson. That’s good. Really nice job to convert the putback opportunity there. I mean, he stayed with that play from start to finish. That’s something we see about him a lot. Now, here’s Turner and Mitchell Robinson is going to pick up the foul. That’ll be his second foul of the game. [Applause] Hallebertton on the wing. Right here, baby. Uses the glass to finish the layup. Hallebertton’s got 10. He’s such a creative scorer in close. Tyresese Hallebertton only needs a sliver of space to make you pay. Pass to Towns. Anobi against Matan. [Applause] Towns the screen. Lock at [Applause] six. Anobi kicks to Robinson. Seakum pulls it in and Seakum has got the ball here for the Pacers. They trail by nine [Applause] points. Hallebertton right side. The shot no good. Towns with the defensive effort. [Applause] Over a minute and a half into the third quarter of action. New York moving the ball around. They kick out to Anobi. [Applause] Shoots from the line. Brunson bullies his way inside. And defense is all over Brunson inside, but still manages to outmaneuver them for the deuce. Turner for three. It’s rebounded by Towns. Towns has got his seventh rebound here tonight. Bridges [Applause] outside. Anobi against Matan on deep Brunson. And the rebound goes to the Patience. Seakum’s got four rebounds in this [Applause] game. Ain passes to Nemo. Seakum outside. Plays it up and in on the nice reverse. Seakum’s got 16. It’s important that Seakum plays with confidence from there. I mean, when he does, the results are often like that one. Sinks the triple. He’s found his rhythm from deep and and you can see the confidence. Yeah, I’d be confident, too. As a matter of fact, I mean, if you’re stacking up threes the way he is, I mean, he’s doing all this work from behind the arc. Mathan again. Tennobi. Here’s Turner. Excellent D that time from Robinson. [Applause] I got it. I got it up top. Anobi defended by Matan. Robinson left side. That’s a two from Towns and it’s good off the back of the rim and in. Towns has got the lead up to 14 now for the Knicks. Seakum outside. Back to Hallebertton. Add another make to his scoring column. His fifth basket of the game. Now shooting five of 11. Now how about how he sets his man up there, runs him right into the screen and then gets the basket. Brunson kicks to Robinson. Pass to Bridges. Now here’s Heninoi. Bridges deciding where to go with it and Robinson throws it down. Love the assist. I mean, he knew exactly where that bounce pass had to be to create that opportunity. Hallebertton passes to Turner and Mitchell Robinson is going to pick up the foul and that’ll be his third foul so far. [Applause] Here’s Nemhard defended by Bridges. Back to Nehard. Shot clock at five from the arc. Drills the three-pointer. Nemar’s got five. Pick works well there. Not much resistance from the D. Yeah, that’s not the defense you need. You got to be tougher defensively. Here’s Hanobi. Two free throws coming up and they call the shooting foul. Now, let’s take a moment to get your guys take on the scoring so far for the Knicks. Well, you know, they’ve been tremendous, I think, when it comes to sharing the basketball. you know, getting guys involved on the plays and creating offensive opportunities for everybody. Equal opportunity offense is fun to watch. And they’ve also been steady from the three-point line and doing a good job creating room for their shooters and then converting. [Applause] That’s good from Anobi kneesmith. He’s checked in for Benedict Nathan. [Applause] That one is no good. The kick out to Anobi and it’s Brunson missing. Well, most games he can knock it down from deep, but it just isn’t there for him in this one. Let’s check in with our reporter David Aldridge. Kevin, thanks. The NBA 65 games requirement for postseason awards has drawn some criticism, but Adam Silver says ultimately this is about the fans and putting the best product forward. Load management was not working for us. This is having the desired effect. The guys are on the floor, Kevin. Yeah, they want to be on the floor, right? Keep them tuning in. Good stuff, DA. Thank you. An elite score demonstrating once again how fast he can fill it up. Seakum outside. Hallebertton finds Nesmith. Some nice passing here by Indiana. Pass to Hallebertton over Brunson. It’ll go and the New York Lewis cut down to just 10 points on the bucket from Hallebertton. That’s one of the things his coaches have encouraged him to do. Look for the mid-range jumper. Tyrese way to knock it down. Now here’s Bridges. He’s got six. Back to Brunson. Fires for three. Brunson for three. Likes the look and trains it. Just a reflexive move by Brunson putting complete trust in his mechanics. Hallebertton for three. It’s rebounded by New York. Robinson’s got rebound number 12 now. Tenacity on the glass. Here’s Bridges. Count it from 12. Bridges has got eight points. A legitimate threat to burn you from that mid-range. Bridges recognizes when he should take that shot. Turner with a screen on and over and Turner throws it down. Doing all he can so far, but they still find themselves trailing. The Knicks leading by 13. Brunson left side. [Applause] Kept alive. The kick out to Anobi. That one doesn’t drop. And here’s Hallebertton. He’ll bring it up for Indiana. Siakum outside. [Applause] Lamard finds Hallebertton and he’s good on the three ball. Hallebertton’s got 11 in the second half. Talk about confidence. Hallebertton oozing with it. No hesitation off the catch and shoot there. Pass to Robinson. Bridges outside. Good. And the assist goes to Robinson. Bridges has got five points in the quarter. and an I for an I. Both teams working to stretch the floor. Nothing like answering back. One team gets three, you fire three of your own. Boom. Now here’s Turner. He’s got 12. Seakum Robinson pulls it in. Robinson’s Bridges attacking. Missed inside. What appeared to be an easy two points just never materialized. kicks it out to Seakkum. The 19 ft shot and on that shot with that the Knick lead is cut down now to just 11 on the basket from Hallebertton outside Towns and the Knicks hit again from deep. Oh, what a find. The ball just comes out of Brunson’s hands on time. [Applause] Hallebertton passes to Turner. Now [Applause] Nemhard back to Turner. Stolen by Robinson to the paint. Here’s Hanobi. It’s rebounded by N Smith. Indiana’s gotten the three-point shot off 16 times tonight. Seven times they’ve hit it. Nine times they’ve missed. Can’t hit from in close. The Knicks leading by 14. Robson with it. Hallebertton picks him up. Robinson kicks to Anobi. Pass to Robinson. Now here’s Towns. He’s covered by Hallebertton. He gets it in there and that’s now 29 points for Carl Anthony Towns. Big miscommunication on defense. He recognizes it and quickly takes advantage. Boy, the defense looks shell shocked. I mean, they’re on the ropes right now on their heels. Nemhard with it. Defended by Bridges. And two free throws coming up. Unable to get that one to go with all the contact. Clearly a foul. Yeah, he took a shot there. Earned those free throws. Indiana shooting their fourth and fifth shots at the foul line in the game. [Applause] [Applause] No good on the free throw. And some changes here for the Pacers. Toppin comes in for Miles Turner. And it’s TJ McConnell in for Hallebertton. And a new group in for the Knicks. Achua, he’s checked in for Robinson. Josh Hard comes in for OG Anubie. Miles McBride’s checked in for Bridges. And Cameron Payne subbed in for Jaylen Brunson. Good on the second free throw. The Knicks leading by 15. [Applause] Pass to Towns. There’s the triple. It’s rebounded by Nes Smith. And I thought that was going to drop. It looked good from here. And Clark, as we watch Aaron Nesmith, he was such a great shooter in college. And it took him a while to find his stroke in the NBA. And you know what, Kevin, nothing really surprising about that. Most players struggle to find their game in the NBA, to find their role in the NBA. Len Smith, he’s found his rhythm and his role and he uh clearly is dangerous from behind the arc. Here’s Towns following the basket by Pascal. Seakum Hart the pass to Aua and a miss there on the triple. Paces trail by 13. 43 seconds left in the third quarter. McConnell kicks to Siaka. [Applause] Six on the shot clock and the call on the shot. It sends him to the line. That one is on Towns. He’s made one and miss one so far in the game. [Applause] That free throw no good. And Indiana making a change here. [Applause] on the miss. And he sinks the second. He hits Payne with the ball. He’ll bring it up for New York. At one point they led by 16. [Applause] Pass to Hart. Now here’s Achua to the wing on the left. Shot clock at six. Back to [Applause] McBride. Beat the shot clock, but it’s off the mark. Go from deep three-point land. And so it’s the New York Knicks up by a dozen here at the end of the quarter. They have been sharp from beyond the art, putting on a terrific three-point shooting display. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back. [Applause] And let’s take now this moment to bring up our State Farm assist of the game. And how about the big fella here showing us he’s got some point guard skill here with the tremendous setup. Hey, that was a highle pass no matter what position it came from, but it does make it stand out a little more when it’s made by the big fella. [Applause] And there have been two very different performances from these teams today. As we get going in quarter number four, we’ll be topping out there with NA and there’s Jackson. Then there’s Tyrese Hallebertton. And it’s McConnell in at the one spot. So that’s the group out there for Indiana. Now here’s Chop back to Smith over Hart. The wing jumper off target. The Knicks leading by 12. Grunson outside. Cans it from downtown. Brunson’s got the fourth quarter started here with a bucket for New York. And perimeter scoring, I have to imagine it was a topic of discussion at halftime. Certainly. I mean, they saw a weakness in the perimeter defense and took advantage of it to the inside. Achua the pass to Brunson and the rejection by Jackson to the middle and Tophin throws it down and you know we can’t measure Hart. I mean he’s not as big as the other power forwards but his jumping ability and mindset is incredible. Pass to Brunson. I’m open right here. Brunson draws the double. Oh yes sir. Yes, sir. My goodness. And he makes no mistake on the slam dunk. And this sort of awesome dunk is one of the reasons this team is in charge of this game. Well, there’s a swagger out there. You can see it on the court that they possess and are not afraid to show it either. Boy, and I used to love going up and jamming it down like that, guys. That one goes. Count it. Jackson’s got his first points of the game. And that’s almost automatic anytime he can get the ball in that position. [Applause] Here’s Brunson. Oh, musling it in. Brunson and he’s got the confidence. Brunson playing out of his mind. [Applause] McConnell finds Nesmith. Now here is Hallebertton defended by McBride. A nice shot by Hallebertton. Tyrese Hallebertton. Take a bow young fella. You deserve it. You have been outstanding. Brunson against McConnell. [Applause] From outside the ark and it’s Jaylen Brunson with the three. Brunson’s got eight points in the quarter. He’s just stretching him out. The defense has got to do a better job of staying attached to him. Yeah, especially with the score being what it is. I mean, you got to tighten it up on deep knee. The pass to Choppin. It’s hauled in by Aua. The Knicks leading by 16. Here’s Hart and the rejection by Jackson. And it goes out of bounds. That one off Hart. Andrew Neard’s checked in for Indiana. And the Knicks making a change here as well. Bridges checks in. And it’s the Pacers with the ball. [Applause] Jackson setting the pick here for Hallebertton. And Jackson throws it down. He’s so dangerous in the pick and roll. Hallebertton beating the defense with that pass right there. The Knicks have gotten four of their six shots to fall so far here in the fourth. A pretty nice efficiency there. Here’s Brunson. And that’ll be two free throws coming up. Officials on the call with the foul. [Applause] shooting [Applause] two. That one falls for Brunson. [Applause] and both free throws good for Brunson. Fourth quarter to play and over three and a half minutes have gone by. Pass to Chompin. Here’s Mi Smith defended by Bridges. [Applause] Tapping against Hart. Four on the shot clock. Here’s Kneesmith. Bridges with some nice defense. Here’s Hart shooting foul. As the whistle blows, he’ll shoot two free throws. It’s going to be on Isaiah Jackson. You know guys, Josh Hart is somebody that’s going to give you everything he’s got. His combination of outside shooting and defense is really quite valuable to any team. Shooting two. And the first one at the line is good. [Applause] [Applause] and Hart drops them both. Pacers trail by 18. [Applause] Hallebertton outside. Pass Denise Smith. [Applause] Toppin with it. Defended by Hart. Down to five on the shot clock. Toppin kicks to Hallebertton. There’s the three. Nicks with the rebound. And you could tell he thought that triple was going to fall. right wing. Here’s McBride. Hits the three-point bomb and the Knicks lead by 21. So many of the plays they’re running designed to create opportunities from deep. Well, you know, that’s exactly their plan here in the fourth. Work to find space behind the arch and then bury some threes. Now, here is Helbert. [Applause] to stop the run. He can’t get that one. The Knicks leading by 21. Pass to McBry. Here’s Brunson. And there’s another one for the Knicks. And Brunson recognizes how to execute inside. The D must be more physical with him. Outside Jackson. Here’s Hallebertton. There’s the lob to Jackson and the dunk by Jackson. Absolutely the prettiest play in basketball. Executed to perfection. I don’t think you’d get an argument there. Everybody loves the alleyoop unless you’re the team getting punched on. That would be the difference. Now here’s Brunson. Fade away. Toppen pulls it in. Pacers trail by 21. Bounce pass. Hallebertton. Nemhard. The pass to Hallebertton. And he gets the whistle. Two free throws coming up. Typically crafty offense from Hallebertton. I mean using a fake that time to his advantage. [Applause] Got to get it. Big and the first one drops. Some changes for Indiana. Turner’s checked in for Isaiah Jackson. Pascal Seakkum comes in for Tophen and it’s Benedict Matan in for Nmith and then for New York. Robinson’s checked in for Precious Achua. Towns comes in for Josh Hart and OG Anobi subbed in for Miles McBride. Hallelbertton hits them both. The Knicks lead by 19. Oh, here’s Brunson. [Applause] Pascal Seakum grabs the miss. Seakum’s got his seventh rebound here tonight. Indiana moving the ball around and Turner kicks to Seakum at the elbow. It’s Turner. Allebertton sets the pick for Turner. Just five on the clock. Seakum for three. That ball. Nice feed that time from Turner. Good intelligent basketball on the part of Turner there. Assist like that’ll make the defense think twice about how they’re going to defend him. Now here’s [Applause] Bridges. Back to Brunson. Towns in the corner. Offensive rebound. Anobi passes to Bridges. [Applause] Bridges sets the screen for Brunson and he finishes nicely on the layup. Brunson’s got 30. And with the lead, I like the strategy here. Continue to get the ball to guys who can do something with it. If it’s working, keep working it. That’s what I say. Keep the pressure on it. Great instincts from him to get a hand on that pass and tip it out. And you know, even though they didn’t come up with the steal, that’s still a nice defensive play. [Applause] Hallebertton kicks to Seakkum. Watch the screen. Laid in with a nice touch off the glass. Seakum’s got 10 points in just the second half. and wiry strong Seakum just snakes inside and makes a nice play off the contact and here’s Brunson outside and it’s Matin with the rebound. Matan’s got his fifth rebound in this one. Hallebertton no good. You know, brick after brick after brick. I mean that’s been the story for him this quarter. I mean, he’s got to brain it in down the stretch here. Now, here’s Bridges. Jaylen Brunson missing his last shot. Bridges against Seakum. Neard with it. Turner with a screen on Robinson. A shot by Nemhard. No good. And so Anobi will bring it up for the New York Knicks. Earlier they held a 23-point lead. And a wide open look for Siako. Off the mark there with the three-point shot. Boy, I’m absolutely shocked he didn’t get that one to go. Usually he’s money from deep. Here’s Brunson. Finds the bottom of the bucket from 13 ft out. Brunson’s got 32 points in the game. Great jumper there from Brunson. Living off that mid-range. Hallebertton for three. Bon pull it in. Towns has got rebound number eight now on the [Applause] night. Bridges outside. Brunson finds Robinson [Applause] trying to break that ice cold streak. And the layup by Anobi. Pacers trail by 20. [Applause] Out to the right wing. Siaka passes to Nehar. Hallebertton against Brunson. And Hallebertton slams it in. Defensive breakdown there. No doubt about it. I mean, he’s a guy you have to be focused on defensively. Outside Towns. Anobi kicks to Bridges off target with his three. And Indiana shooting 49% on the game. They’ll take that. And this is what they wanted. I mean to announce their presence in this matchup with authority. Very decisive. It can definitely be considered a statement win for New York. Look at their number of assists. You know, they didn’t get stuck in those one-on-one situations and and they got the ball to the guys with the best matchups. Easy drives, open jumpers, and great ball movement. And we watched him all night long. No one could really stop him. Just another excellent game. It was for Carl Anthony Town. You look at the energy he brought on both ends of the floor and it’s easy to see why he was a difference maker. Some changes for Indiana. Topin. He’s checked in for Miles Turner. Aaron Nesmith comes in for Benedict Matan and it’s TJ McConnell in for Andrew Nemar. [Applause] No good on the second. So he hits one of two. Yeah, he cuts the deficit a little bit but not as much as he could have. One miss can make a big difference. [Applause] And here’s Payne. Clock at four. Puts up a deep three. Pascal Seakum grabs the miss. Okano passes to Choppin. Hallebertton right side. Back to Tophin. Buries the long range jumper. The versatility of Hallebert. That’s what you love about him. He can score it. He can pass it. And he makes very good decisions. Top of the key. Aua. Now here’s Payne. Defense is right there. Back to Aua. No good that time. Good D by Seakum. And he’s going up for the alley hoop. And Tophin throws it down. [Music] Now here’s Payne. He’s covered by [Applause] McConnell. So no problem for New York as they get the win. And in the win, a comfortable win in what was, I think, gee, a pretty hostile environment. It really was. You know, it’s never going to be easy on the road, but they didn’t have too many problems with that tonight. And now, let’s check in with David Aldridge reporting from the sideline for our player of the game. David, take it away. Thank you, Kevin. With Carl Anthony Towns, you look so calm on the block. What has that focus been like for you? Just being patient. uh wait for my shot to come, not really forcing anything, but also being aggressive. And you do both very well. Thanks, Cat. Back to you, Kevin. All right, David. Thank you. And that’ll wrap it up, folks. For Greg Anthony, Clark Kellogg, and David Aldridge, this is Kevin Harland. Thanks for watching this presentation of the NBA on 2K Sports. And as we leave you, we give you our player of the game, Carl Anthony Jones. [Applause]
