Luka trade aside, I don't understand why the Mavs went into the luxury tax with Nico trading Quentin Grimes for Caleb Martin… going into the luxury tax & missing out on revenue sharing payment to get Martin who is a worse player than Grimes is RIDICULOUS.

We were ready for the journey.
We had chosen our champion.
Our champion was Luka.
Nico robbed us.
He forced his will on the fan base.
He will not be trusted ever again.
"But wait!" You say, "we might win a championship sooner now!"
We didn't ASK for a "now" championship. We were perfectly willing to take the longer journey with our chosen hero, just like we did with Dirk. Now we can't. Guarantee you it's going to cost the ownership and management FAR more than they can recoup with their "win now" moment. You cannot force us to “fan” your way.
