Absolutely NO WAY the Spurs will deal the #2 for KD. Pop had a stroke — he's not senile. The 14th pick? Absolutely. Essentially, KD takes CP3's place on the roster as the old head dispensing wisdom. Far as for the NBA, well, that's box office. The Luka-LeBron-Reeves vs Wemby-KD-Fox matchups and against the Mavs, the Warriors, the Thunder, they'll make for some epic viewing.
If they can get KD without giving up too much, I’d do that over Giannis because I think it’s very important to keep their great players young so you’re on multiple timelines for a dynasty and the cap problems and restrictions are far away. If they have to give up one of their very top picks from the past few years including this year I wouldn’t do it but the 14th this year plus future picks and the players to match the contract should be enough
Maybe should not stunt these young guys growth and wait for them to come into their own. Signing big names to expedite a championship obviously doesn’t work anymore.
The spurs just seem like the most likely trade scenario for KD, mostly they don't have to gut the roster to make it work. Also as a Suns fan, i feel like the spurs are the most interesting trade partner
The main reason I would want Kevin Durant is to mentor Victor Wembanyama. He’s a champion he’s a finals MVP he’s a sniper he’s kind of built like Victor and I think he just could give him a lot of pointers.. other than that I wouldn’t really care for him on the Spurs

Plus I hate to say it but I will…. Wemby is too hyped and overrated. He's good but stop with the superstar nonsense until he actually is that. Let's have a crack at winning now !
