I think a combination of GLOBAL popularity and overall talent is what should make a face of a league. As it stands rn Edwards just isn't good enough nor is he quite popular enough on a global level. To me the face of the league is a combination of LeBron, KD, Steph and Giannis. Because they're all arguably have been the best players in the league at some point and their popularity is to the point where people who have NEVER even watched the NBA know their names. I've met people who don't even know who the hell Anthony Edwards is but clearly know LeBron KD and Steph. We can't FORCE a face for the league. It will just happen organically.
