🚨 Utah Jazz TRADING Walker Kessler To New York Knicks? | NBA Trade Rumors
So, could the Utah Jazz be trading away Walker Kesler to the New York Knicks this 2025NBA off seasonason? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to check out the entire thing for yourself. But this trade would see the New York Knicks receiving Walker Kesler and the Utah Jazz receiving Tyler Kolick, a 2026 first round pick swap, a 2026 second round pick, a 2027 second round draft pick, and a 2028 second round draft pick. So, in my personal opinion, if Walker Kesler were to be made available this off seasonason on the trade market and the Knicks were to lose Mitchell Robinson this off season, then yes, it wouldn’t make a ton of sense to me to replace his defensive ability with someone like Walker Ker. Now, what’s being pretty uh clear so far to me by watching the Pacers Knicks series uh this NBA playoffs is that the Knicks have a lot of players that are somewhat onedimensional. like besides Jaylen Brunson, besides Anobi, they have some depth, but these depth players really do one thing in particular. Uh so for the example of Mitchell Robinson, he plays defense tremendously well. Like as a center, he can come off the bench, he can be in the starting lineup, whatever the case may be, and put up some pretty good numbers and be a good player defensively speaking. So if he departs the team and they want to keep his impact while still going a little bit younger as well by Walker by acquiring Walker Kesler, I think it’s a great move. like Walker Kesler going to the Knicks would be a tremendous spot. He doesn’t have to have the ball in his hands super often to be successful defensively speaking. He’s a present. Uh he’s younger than Mitchell Robinson as well. And if you’re only giving up a first round pick swap, a younger player in Tyler Kick and in this case three second round draft picks, that’s a relatively low asking price for a player that can be a more than capable starting center in this league for the foreseeable future. So I’m a little bit confused why the Utah Jazz would do this. Now, if Walkercaster were to be made available, I’m sure there’s going to be some other teams out there that would offer them a first round draft pick or more in return. And if that’s the case, the Knicks can’t really compete with that. But if the asking price for him was three second round draft picks, a first round pick swap, and a younger talent. If I’m the Knicks, I wouldn’t think twice. I would make this trade. No questions asked. So, those are just my thoughts. I think the Knicks win this deal without a doubt. As always, leave your thoughts.
