🚨 Los Angeles Clippers TRADE LaMelo Ball To Orlando Magic? | NBA Trade Rumors
So, could the Charlotte Hornets be trading away LaMelo Ball to the Orlando Magic this 2025 NBA offseason? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeaway world.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to check out the entire thing for yourself. But this trade would see the Orlando Magic receiving LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets receiving Jonathan Isaac, Anthony Black, Tristan Dilva, a 2026 first, a 2027 first round pick swap, a 2030 first round pick, and a 2026 second round draft pick. So, in my personal opinion, yes, the asking price for a lamela ball would of course be pretty steep if you are the Orlando Magic, but I think Lamela Ball fits in with this current core tremendously well. Uh, kind of what this Magic team lacks in my opinion at the moment, and it’s no secret to anyone is kind of some star power in their back court. Uh they need someone that can actually uh stretch the floor, shoot from the perimeter and just be a force because in the front court this team stacked like Paulo Bonerero, France Vagner for the foreseeable future that has a tremendous one-two punch. But where they kind of lacked that star power and where they kind of lacked the completeness of this roster and what’s kind of holding them back in my opinion from being a playoff team and going above and beyond and it’s acquiring a star player for their back court. So, LaMelo Ball, although not everyone’s cup of tea, is a tremendous player. Offensively speaking, this guy’s phenomenal. The only question mark for me would be how would he fit in with this Orlando Magic team? How could he coincide with some other star players like Paulo and Fron? Like, from an age perspective, these guys fit in tremendously well with each other. If these three could get along and mesh, this big three could be the best big three in the NBA for like the next decade plus. And the Magic could be a very scary team down the stretch in my opinion. Now, if you’re the Hornets, you would be selling a little bit uh I would say quicker than expected on the LaMelo Ball era, but as an organization, if they’re not going to win a championship this year and they feel like that LaMelo Ball might be holding them back, why not make this trade, get back some good assets, get back some draft capital, and just go through a bit of a retool that way and builds around Brandon Miller, who they drafted obviously very high not too long ago. So, in my opinion, the ask price is pretty steep, but if you’re the magic, you probably still do win this trade just from the positional aspect of this deal. Those are just my thoughts. As always, leave yours down below.
