Park's take on who the superstars are is interesting. Lebron, KD, Jokic, Giannis and Curry are the only superstars? I would call those a level above "superstars." Those are All-Timers. I think Perk is kicking Tatum, Doncic, SGA, and others out of the "superstar" tier because of how difficult it is to argue against Haliburton being a superstar. For instance, how can they justify Antman being a "superstar" over Haliburton if Haliburton makes the Final? Their only argument for Ant would become off-the-court stuff like "charisma", but Haliburton doing the choke sign is already more iconic than anything "charismatic" Antman has done. It's getting so difficult for them to fight the Haliburton ascendancy now, that they have to demote all the other guys like Antman, Doncic, SGA, Tatum etc. from the superstar tier in order to protect their narrative.
I'm pretty sure that in order for the Knicks to win, Haliburton needs to sit out and they need to NOT play in MSG. lol. Poor Knicks. I always root for them. It's too bad.
