But this trade would see the Boston Celtics trading away Sam Hower to the San Antonio Spurs for Julian Sha Champagne, Malachi Brainham, and and three second round future draft picks. So, in my personal opinion, uh this is a pretty risk-free trade if you ask me for the Spurs to make. like, yeah, you’re buying a little bit high on Sam Hower uh than what you would have in in I guess previous months, but Sam Hower is a really solid player and the Spurs have excess draft capital, so trading away three future second round draft picks isn’t anything crazy. And Julian and Malachi as trade candidates and assets probably wouldn’t fetch you back anything more than a Sam Hower type of player. So, I know the Spurs have their sights set on adding a big-time name. So maybe that’s like a Kevin Durant. Maybe that’s going to be uh potentially a Giannis into the Kmpo, whatever the case may be. But this trade doesn’t stop you from making that trade. And I think Sam Hower going over to the Spurs would be a pretty awesome move for them. And if you’re the Boston Celtics, uh this could potentially be a good time for them to buy high on a player like Sam Hower. I guess sell high on a player like Sam Hower. Um he had a pretty good year this past year. He’s a pretty important part to the Celtics team, but changes are probably going to be made this off season. I know the Celtics want to save some money, so that’s why players like Porzingis, Derek White, um Drew Holiday, and even throw Jaylen Brown into that mix could be made available this off seasonason. But realistically speaking, if they wanted to make a move at a lower scale, a Sam Hower trade for some draft capital and two role players might be kind of the way to go to kick things off, then you make your big trade a little bit later on. So, if I had to pick a winner of this deal, I would go with the Spurs acquiring Sam Hower. Uh Sam Howser is a good 3 and D option for them. Uh he kind of stretches the floor a little bit and makes up for some areas on this team that the Spurs maybe kind of lack right now. So I think that Sam Hower going to the Spurs is a perfect fit. And if you’re the Celtics, maybe try to get back a first round pick or so. 3 seconds doesn’t really do it for me. But uh those are just my thoughts. As always, leave yours down below.
