This new version of Victor Wembanyama is TERRIFYING! San Antonio Spurs it could RIP the NBA apart!

class is now in session. Victor has a unique set of skills, and we know he can score, but he has more points than the league’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron James, through 101 games. Don’t get it twisted, WBY is a two-way player. He has more blocks through 101 games than Hakee Luan, the alltime blocks leader. And his versatility stands out at 75 because on 101 games, WBY has more three-pointers than Steph Curry, who is the greatest shooter ever. So there has literally never been a player like him and the numbers they truly supported so far. So DDJ, what is the most impressive part of Victor Webbyama’s game? Well, well, first having more threes than Steph is one thing, but he has more threes than Trey Young through 100 games, and that’s that’s a whole different ball games. We’re talking about a dude who came in when everybody had the green light to shoot as many threes as possible, and he has more than Trey Young. But for me, beyond the stats, it’s the fact that Wimi shows up for all of these big marquee games like a veteran superstar. He was the best player in the gold medal game for a long time. Look at what he did on Christmas in that marquee game. He just went head-to-head with Jokic for two games in a row. You remember the block he had against Giannis last year in that marquee game? Like, he takes he stands up for these games like a star does. And he’s just getting started. There are no goosebumps. There are no butterflies in this dude at all. Yeah. And you know, sometimes when people come in with a hype like this, it takes them a couple years to learn how to be a professional. It takes them a couple years to learn the league and how to translate those skills. Takes them years to just get muscles and build be able to compete at that level. We haven’t seen that with him. Yeah, you’re right. I mean, the Giannis transformation, right? Yeah. He has come into the league and he’s been able to stand up to everything physically. He’s been able to stand up to the rigors of the game. I I think his skill set is translated right away and he came in already knowing how to be a pro with that skill set. Well, here here’s a fun fact about your Spurs. They have not been to the playoffs since 2019. How odd does that sound, right? 20 straight, right? Yeah. And and you got to have Wimby in the playoffs. Yes. I would love to see San Antonio and Denver. I mean, Wimby against anybody. And uh because he’s just so special and growing and getting better. And I’m I’m glad they’re playing better right now because it was like we were starting to forget them for early in the season. Welcome to Hoops Insider where we don’t just cover the NBA, rip it apart, expose its secrets, and demand your attention. I’m your host, and today we’re diving head first into the most electrifying, polarizing, and downright unbelievable story in basketball, Victor Webyama. At just 21 years old, this 7 foot something French phenom is shattering records, defying physics, and leaving legends in his dust. Is he the greatest prospect to ever lace up? Or is his towering frame a house of cards, ready to crumble under the NBA’s brutal grind? The numbers are staggering, the rumors are explosive, and the stakes, they’re skyhigh. We’re peeling back the curtain on WebM’s rise, his risks, and a conspiracy that could shake the Spurs to their core. Buckle up because this is Hoop’s Insider, and we’re about to drop truth bombs that’ll leave you speechless. Weby’s rewriting the NBA’s history books. But before we unravel the chaos surrounding his height, let’s dive into the cold, hard stats that prove he’s a once in a millennium talent. Class is in session, and Victor Webbyama is teaching the NBA a lesson it’ll never forget. Let’s talk numbers because these stats aren’t just impressive, they’re a full-on assault on basketball history. Through his first 101 games, Wemby’s averaging 21 three points, 10 seven rebounds, and three sees blocks per game. That’s right outscored LeBron James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, through the same stretch with 2,153 points to LeBron’s 287. But don’t sleep on his defense. We swatted more shots than Hakee Oajuan, the Dream himself with 364 blocks compared to Hakee’s 351 at the same point. And here’s where it gets wild. At 75 with the agility of a guard, Wemby’s drained 174 three-pointers, outpacing Steph Curry’s 165 and Trey Young’s 171 through 101 games. Let that sink in. The greatest shooter ever, Steph Curry, and the league’s green light king, Trey Young, are looking up at Wembi from long range. But stats only tell half the story. What makes Webby a true unicorn is his clutch factor. This kid shows up for the Big Zest moments like he’s been in the league for a decade. In the Olympic gold medal game, he dropped 26 points and seven rebounds, outshining global superstars for stretches. On Christmas Day 2024, he went head-to-head with Nicola Joic, the three-time MVP, and held his own with 34 points and 12 boards. And who could forget that iconic block on Jiannistompo last season? WBY didn’t just block the Shaw. Sent a message. No nerves, no hesitation, just pure unfiltered dominance. This isn’t a rookie learning the ropes. This is a superstar who arrived. Reedy. Unlike other hyped up prospects who need years to bulk up or adjust, Wimbe is built like Giannis 2. Zero physically unbreakable, mentally unshakable, and already a pro. The Spurs haven’t seen the playoffs since 2019. But with WBY, they’re not just dreaming of postseason glory, they’re plotting a dynasty. Weby’s stats scream goat, but a darker question looms. How tall is he really? The Spurs are hiding something and it could change everything. Let’s uncover the truth. Victor Webbyama was a viral sensation before he ever touched an NBA court. A 7T plus freak moving like a point guard. It was unthinkable. Borderline impossible. Before the 2023 draft, he measured 73 and a half without shoes. Case closed. Right? Wrong. The Spurs listed him at 74 as a rookie. then out of nowhere dropped him to 73 before his second season. Did he shrink? No. The evidence points to something far more shocking. Web is growing and the Spurs are desperate to keep it under wraps. Let’s break it down. Giannis Antempo after facing Wemi in 2023 dropped a bombshell. He’s not 73. He’s way taller. Whoever said that is lying. Fast forward to March 2025 and a Spurs team photo set the internet on fire. Standing next to 610 Charles Bassie, Wimb’s mouth aligned with Bassy’s forehead. Basic anatomy math stay with me says a human head is about 18th of body height. On a 74 Wimbe, that’s 11 in with the mouth a quarter up the head. Add 8 and 1/4 in to Bassie 610 and Wemb 76 and 1/4. Then in April, Wemi posed with Spurs legends Tim Duncan listed at 6’11 and David Robinson 71. Wimby towers over them pushing 76 or brace yourself 77. The latest proof, a May 2025 photo with 71 quarter prospect Maxim Reno. Weby’s nose hits Reo’s forehead, making him 5 and 1/2 in taller 77 by proportions. Run that photo through a height simulator and it screams the same 7. Seven. That’s a 3 and 1/2 in growth spurt since the draft. Goodness. Why the cover up? Because history is a graveyard for Giants. Of the seven NBA players 73 or taller with notable careers, Zidruna’s Ilgowskis, Chrisaps Porzingis, Arvida Sabonis, Ralph Samson, Rick Smithz, Mark Eaton, and Yao Ming 5 battled career crippling injuries. Weby’s already missed games, including time for a blood clot in 2024. If the world knew he’s 77, the media would explode. Is WMBB’s career over before it begins? The Spurs are protecting their franchise player, but at what cost? Every tweak, every limp would spark panic. They’re shielding WMBB’s mind and their own sanity. The height conspiracy is terrifying, but the Spurs next move is even crazier. Are they betting Web’s career is on borrowed time? Let’s dive into their desperate trade plans. The San Antonio Spurs were once the NBA’s gold standard. 20 straight playoff appearances, five championships. A dynasty built on patience. But that was then. They haven’t sniffed the postseason since 2019. And now with Wemi, they’re not just hungry, they’re starving for a title. Shams Chirania dropped a bombshell armed with the no FU and no 14 picks in the 2025 draft tradable contracts and a war chest of future assets. The Spurs are hunting a superstar Kevin Durant averaging 27 points and one two blocks last season at age 37. On the table, Giannis Anttokmpo third in MVP voting at 30. A pipe dream, but not impossible. Even Jason Tatum’s name has surfaced. This isn’t a rebuild. It’s a full-on gamble. Why the panic? Because the Spurs know Wemby’s 77 frame is a ticking time bomb. At 21, he’s their cornerstone. But every minute he plays as a roll of the dice. Trading for Durant, a proven scorer who outshined every Spurs player last season, screams urgency. Pairing WBY with Giannis, who’d complement his shooting with relentless drives, could make San Antonio title favorites tomorrow. A Spurs insider whispered, “Nannis and WBY? That’s a decade of dominance. But here’s the ugly truth. Trading the no two pick for an aging star. While Wimy’s on a rookie deal isn’t Spurs basketball, it’s fear. Fear that Wimy’s timeline is shorter than Tim Duncan’s 19-year reign. Consider this mock trade. Spurs get Durant. Suns get Nick Claxton, Kell Johnson, the no 14 pick, and a Hawks firstrounder. Nets get Devin Vel and a 2029 Spurs first. It’s a win now move, but at what cost? The Spurs already traded for De’aran Fox, sacrificing draft capital to surround Wemby with vets. With the new CBA squeezing budgets, they’re loading up while Wembley’s cheap. But betting on Durant or Giannis means betting against Wemb’s longevity. That’s not hope, that’s desperation. The Spurs are playing with fire. But another storm is brewing. Cooper Flag, the next big thing, is about to hit the NBA. Are the Mavericks about to ruin his future? Just when you thought We WBY was the only unicorn, here comes Cooper Flag, the 6-9 Duke prodigy who’s got the NBA drooling, averaging 19, two points, seven, five rebounds and four two assists while shooting 39% from three flags, the consensus, no one pick in 2025. The Dallas Mavericks, defying one 8% lottery odds, vowed to draft him, but hold up. New reports say they’re plotting something insane. Whispers suggest Dallas could trade flag for a win now star like Giannis Antakmpo. Sound familiar? After fumbling the Luca Donuch era, the Mavs are desperate to save face. But trading a 19-year-old two-way juggernaut for a 30-year-old MVP, no matter how elite, is a disaster waiting to happen. Flags the safest. No, one pick since Zion Williamson with hustle, vision, and a jumper that screams superstar. Trading him could haunt Dallas for decades. We flag should have been the NBA’s futura clash of titans for years to come. Instead, the Spurs and Mavs are chasing fading stars, sacrificing tomorrow for a fleeting shot at glory. Is this the death of patience in the NBA? Are we watching the league’s future collapse before our eyes? The NBA is at a breaking point. Wemb’s rewriting history, but his body and the Spurs fear could derail it all. Cooper flag should spark hope, but the Mavs might snuff it out. What do you think? Is WY the goat in waiting, or is his career doomed? Should Dallas keep Flag or Chase Giannis? Drop your hottest takes in the comments. 1. "They need time to be professionnals and built muscles "
What an idiot ! Is she a real sports journalist ? Wemby was professional in France since few years before the NBA, is an International player and with his size, that's better for him to not be to much muscular.
I can't understand this lack of common sense, even because the European's players prove that the Americans physical criterias for a basketball player are erroneous, but this kind of journalists persist to say stupidities. . 😢😢😢😢
