🚨 Philadelphia 76ers TRADE Paul George To Phoenix Suns? | NBA Trade Rumors

So, could the Philadelphia 76ers be trading away Paul George to the Phoenix Suns this 2025 NBA off season? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to check out the entire thing for yourself, but this trade would see the Philadelphia 76ers receiving Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns receiving Paul George, Quinton Quinton Grimes in a signing trade and a 2025 first round draft pick that is number three overall. So, first and foremost, I know Kevin Durant is a valuable player, but if you’re giving up Paul George, Quinton Grimes, and the number three overall draft pick this year, and what all signs point towards being a very strong draft, that is a lot to give up for a player in Kevin Durant who doesn’t have very many productive years left. I would imagine like he’s going to be 37 years old next year. And with Joel Embiid’s health being a big-time concern, um I know they have Tyrese Maxi as well as Jared McCain and the rest of the Sixers roster. Yeah, I think Kevin Durant helps them in the short term. He definitely be would be an upgrade over Paul George who didn’t have a great year this past year. Um and probably a more impactful player than whoever they would be picking at number three. But you’re trading for a 37y old and you’re not a you’re not a Kevin Durant away from winning a championship in my opinion. Now, you can make the argument that the Eastern Conference is not very strong, especially if Giannis gets traded to the West, which also point towards him, you know, probably going out to the West. If he is in fact traded, then I guess you can make the argument it’s pretty wide open. Like, especially too with Jason Tatum being injured, uh, and the Celtics being worse. But would I do this trade if I’m the Sixers? Definitely not. Like, I know Paul George had a bad year, but he’s still a pretty talented player. Quinn Grimes is a good solid player to have on your team, and in this case, he’s kind of just a throwin. plus the number three pick this year. That is way too rich for my liking in my opinion. Now, if you’re the Phoenix Suns, you’re salivating over this trade. You’re trading an older player in Kevin Durant for a bit of a younger player, not too much younger, but a younger player in Paul George who could very well bounce back and be a pretty impactful player um on this Phoenix Suns team. Quinton Grimes as well, pretty solid player that I mentioned uh before, but more importantly, you’re getting back a high-end draft pick this year, which is desperately needed for this team. The Suns lack draft capital. So if you’re able to get a top three pick this year and draft a solid player and they hit on that guy, that can be a piece for Devin Booker for the foreseeable future. So I love this deal for the Phoenix Suns. Like obviously if you’re acquiring Kevin Durant, it’s a good trade. But would you give up this much for him? In my opinion, I probably wouldn’t. So for those reasons, I think the Suns win this deal. But as always, leave your thoughts.
