Maluach is the cleanest fit, but he's likely gone before 9.
From all the draft coverage, I'm intrigued by Cedric Coward and Jacucionis(sp?).
Coward is a great shooter and defender. Jac could be Darko's dream euro pg pick.

I'd rather have Kasparas over Egor. Egor is more of a passer than a true playmaker. A good playmaker can break down a defense consistently and generate scoring opportunities for themselves or their teammates. Defenses don't respect his shooting or scoring ability enough for him to be a threat.

Egor was like a top 5 guy very early in this class before falling and now creeping back up, similar to the trajectory of Nolan Traore. He’s a guy I’d be happy to see the Raptors draft. If Maluach is gone, I like Noa Essengue, Collin Murray-Boyles, and Carter Bryant.
Let’s talk up Egor Derik and Carter so they all go before we pick and those teams leave Khaman.
6'10" PG who can't shoot … where have we seen this before?
If Maluach is off the board when we pick we should just draft Cedric Coward. Coward is exactly the type of player this team needs. 2 way player that can defend and score the ball and he’s probably the most athletic player in the draft. You better believe he’s a top 10 player in this draft. You can’t just pay attention tankathon draft boards. The reason he isn’t on the top 10 on most draft boards is simply because he was injured last season and that affected his draft stock similarly to how we ended drafting OG who was expected to go higher than where we pick but because he picked a injury and missed a bunch of games his stock fell and he slip to us. Coward is a top 10 player in this draft don’t fool yourselves. There’s a number of good big men over 7 ft expected to go in the 2nd round if Maluach is gone. Centers like Yang, Yanic Konan Niederhauser, Rocco Zikarsky, could be had with our 2nd pick. If Maluach is not there Cedric Coward should be the pick just do your research. Whoever draft’s Coward is getting the next OG but with better offensive potential.
Maluach = 905…couple years learning how to rebound and play basketball at the highest level.
Murray-Broyles = gtg and fits a bench need in the 3-4 spot
Queen = ready to play, but not an urgent need
Esseengue = not a fan of French basketball. Wemby is the exception, not the norm. Been way more busts than bloom, but this kid has potential.
Demin is a stretch at 9, but has potential
Tre Johnson if he somehow fell would be great even though another 2-3 isn't a need for this team
Will Riley will one day be one of the top players from this draft, but a tough take at 9.
Egor is a guy I've been saying we should try our best to get for a while now. This guy looks special to me.

Egor is a terrific pick waaaay more upside than Maluach – I watched Egor play this tournament a few times, he is poised, in control, looks like a leader, has great floor vision, high IQ and can pass well. He was a PG when I watched. BUT he too is a project like Malauch BUT think Banton with better skills and much better upside.

I drafted Demin in 2k. Traded Quick for cap space. Him and Flagg are battling for Rookie of the Year.
Draft . Net has Khaman at like 19 or 17 and have rated him low all year. They have some odd picks.
