Oh he gone gone. But that's ok. It really just depends on what he wants to do. Bench or start. Either way im happy for him.

If Castle's RoY season and trading for Fox wasn't enough, the Spurs getting the chance to draft Harper probably sealed the deal. Also, let's not forget that CP3 made the sacrifice to be away from his family in part to play for Coach Pop and learn from him. Popovitch has left the bench and gone upstairs, so I figure that Paul decided to move his career farewell tour to another team that promises to let him 'hoop' for another season. He helped the team a lot and didn't bail on the team during the season (showing our young players how to be professional even when things aren't going the way you expected) and I respect him a lot for that.
I just hope that spurs fans won't remember cp3 as a bad player and that he enjoyed his time in san antonio

Scoot Henderson was the 3rd pick by Portland in 2023. He has not lived up to his draft position. It would be a miracle if CP3 could turn Scoot into the star that draft position says he should become.

As a backup center, it would be great if the Spurs got someone comparable to Tiago Splitter if not a poor man's Giannis Antetokounmpo. I think a 6'11 or taller version of Malik Rose or Elton Brand would also be great.
Good, he didn't really make the Spurs better, and CP notoriously has always been about CP, not about anyone else. That's why he doesn't have a chip.
He should go try for a championship. Nonetheless he had helped us with mentoring and i wish him well.
