What Jokic JUST SAID Is SHOCKING & Changes EVERYTHING In The NBA!

The Denver Nuggets got blown out in Game 7 against the OKC, and it seems like Jokic has had enough of the team’s inactivity when it comes to the roster changes. The Serbian big was asked as to whether or not they can win another championship with this lineup, and his answer was quite controversial. It’s a massive wakeup call for the front office, but can they do something to not waste the prime of Jokic, and more importantly—where does his future stand if they don’t?

  1. Most NBA teams got better by improving their roster and adjusting to Denver's style of playing. Nuggets were 'left behind' in a meantime believing their 'roster and formula' is unbreakable. They even overpaid some of their starters. They were wrong! Now, no NBA team will assume Murray and MPJ with their inflated salaries! Many teams would take Joker, Gordon and probably Braun; I'm not sure about the rest.

  2. That is an accurate statement . It's not controversial. It's reality. We don't live in a multiverse where you get to see all the possibilities. Okc is a vastly superior team. The fact that they pushed a game 7 is incredible and arguably an indictment on okc. The nuggets are a 20 win team without jokic. They termed the coach and gm. A championship team wouldn't do that. People took a fantasy and lost track of reality

  3. Bad, cheap ownership. Let go of essential vet pieces from championship team Bruce Brown, Green, and next year Caldwell-Pope l defensive anchor) really stupid to do that. Essentially have no bench. Overpaid!! Murray and Porter-never had an effective backup for Jokic. Murray can be great but often injured and inconsistent-Porter whether from injuries or what never fulfills potential. Really crazy to waste Jokic. I don't know what options they have, but they need a bench, consistent shooters, a tough big-otherwise Jokic should leave. He's probably not the type to do that-but without some pieces they'll never advance again.

  4. So is Luka even younger. So why was he playing LBJ. He was the one having turnovers and missing free throws. Yokic had plus minus too. Russell is coming of the bench and 35 going on 36. The OKC was #1 and they were the better team. Wasn't Yokic injured? U can't win everytime and fire coaches and don't want to listen to the Coach that got u there. Who's to say he'll win anywhere else. More and more players r coming in the league. It's a new day. The KD, Curry and Draymond r over. Remember Westbrook, LBJ r old. Ur legs and feet r old. If u r going to stay just come of the bench or retire. Every year we all get older, every second, minute, week, and month. If u get younger players they too have lost championships. LBJ has been on 4 teams w different player going in and out like a revolving door and it was the younger players that got him the championships he got. Dwade had already won one younger than him at the time he won. He's had more losses than wins in 22 yrs. Bench him bc they can win w him at his age or his son. These players made it further than he did. The young team won w/o him big teams. So as Kawaii said I don't know. Nobody knows what's going to happen from min to min. Players have played their entire career and not got a chip.

  5. Murray-Porter-Westbrook need to go like 6months ago! Dragging the whole organization down. Only guys that prove their value Joker-Gordon-Brown. If they don’t make any strong moves Joker needs to make right move and not end up stranded like Yanis with the Bucks. Hopefully Denver organization will make some smart moves but with that chocking move and firing Malone not looking promising on their future.

  6. Denver should have never let OKC get both Alex Curiso and Hartensian, they were the X factors OKC needed to move to the top. It’s not just about building your roster but keep your main competition from building there’s.

  7. Denver will take another 50 years to win another championship 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣 I like joker but he is a Liability on defense 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣

  8. If they didn't sign Westbrook, they wont even be in the play offs. He basically pick up the slack cause half the the team is injured. And he's getting paid 3 million. Meanwhile MPJ and Jamal getting paid 80+ million sitting on the bench and more importantly can't even sustain a descent performance. For context, SGA getting paid less than MPJ but his contribution is that of a superstar. Now the organization is stuck with two untradable players and Jokics legacy is wasted. I think it's time for Jokic to find an organization that is serious about winning. They need a CONSISTENT player not a one hit wonder like JAMAL.

  9. Jokic needs to get out of that useless team … those other guys 1 game their good then brutal the next while joker is consistent.

  10. Jokic only option is to leave , that’s if he even cares about playing for a championship 😂

  11. 😢It's not all about Jokic,LeBron, Curry,KD,Ant-man,k.leonard,or any more, because all the Superstars and MVPS are sitting at home watching Americas youngest NBA team march into the NBA CHAMPIONSHIP in 2025.

  12. This is a very bad take!
The coach was fired in the thick of race.
Personnel flows on court became discontinuous.
Get the obvious bias out of this presentation.
PS. Did you ever play the game?

  13. I can't see how Denver can trade MPJ and Murray, no one wants them for this kind of contracts. So, I think Jokić will go.

  14. A one-man team never won any damn NBA championship. Jokic is as good as his team. He is also as bad as his team: Jokic made miserable plays and decisions himself. So no need pointing fingers because his team lost. LeBron … same issue… same issue Wembanyama … Luka Dončić same issue.. Even a good 2-man-team (Lakes with LeBrom and Anthony Davis and then later LeBron and Luka Dončić) teaches us the reality of things in NBA basketball: Either the entire team plays ball or you go home. OKC is playing ball<, the NY Knicks and so are the Timberwolves.

  15. You're going to put all the blame on a 36yr old, $3m, bench player?? 😂
When are we going to address the elephant in the room? Jokic's pathetic defense

  16. Westbrook is not the problem, he only made 3 million a year., and could just be benched more if Nuggets had other talent. Biggest problem is salaries of Murray (especially), MPJ and Gordon go way up next season and Braun still on his 3-4 million rookie contract which is up next summer and he’s going to get paid, so I see no way the Nuggets can keep him and he did a really good job defensively on Harden and somehow solving how to keep SGA’s nonsense getting to the free throw line 15 times a game, which the Wolves have failed to figure out how to stop (14 fits game ne, 15 fits game 2)

  17. Joker is a one and done champion , team are get stronger and Denver will never win another championship . Three MVP was a gift . If he get hurt and he will its all over .

  18. I was a big Westbrook fan with OKC I like to root for guy, but he is not good for any team these days everywhere he goes the team dips. OKC won't have him back now, I see him going Spurs or Wizards sometime soon

  19. I'd say that they have top skill necessary. But they have no depth. They get worn out. And the mistakes pile up.

I think it would be a mistake to move away from Murray. Porter though

  20. Harden russ and Durant are turncoats! Groomed from okc. Are porter and murray the modern vrsion of the p4evious three? What if they are all internal sellouts to help the owners of the NBA control the direction and dynamics of players in the league?

  21. you are still missing the point of what changed.
the league got better. much better.
and the mvp contract given to murray literally killed them for a generation..

  22. Jokic with the league's best stats didn't win the MVP because of the lack of team support. The best team's best player did.

  23. The problem is Jokic. He is great but he was doing too much job. Play center, do point guard’s job and coach the team?

Denver needs a full time, full court point guard ?

  24. Nuggets wanted Westbrook to run the second unit originally but they did away with that. Means the coach or management didn’t have a clue?
