DeRozan on Lonzo’s Absence: “It Changed Everything” ππ #nba
You know what’s crazy? That that first year in Chicago, we was number one seed. Me and Zach made Allstar. We was hooping, killing. Then right after Allstar break, that’s when Lonzo got hurt. His knee that killed us cuz hooping. Lonzo put when you talk about a piece that’s missing for something and everything else right around it. Lonzo was that that big piece of the puzzle that put everything together for all of us. And he made everything so easy offensively, defensively. Like coming from a point guard like like Cal to playing with a point guard like Zo, Zo wouldn’t say a word. He would do everything to the highest level. When before, you know, I’m used to my point guard being the most vocal and his talkative. Zo wouldn’t say nothing, but he could dominate in every aspect of a game at the highest level.
DeMar DeRozan opens up about how Lonzo Ballβs long-term injury has impacted the Chicago Bulls. From team chemistry to game flow, DeRozan doesnβt hold back on how crucial Lonzo was to their success. ππ¬
