Mavs would be stupid to trade PJ for Herb. PJ has better career stats, better rebounder, more healthy, defenses are about equal. Slight downgrade imo.
Also trading a valuable piece like PJ that doesn't even address playmaking ability is pointless.

I see yall comparing PJ defense to Herb and bruh!! I love PJ, but his defense ain't close to being Herb level of defense. Herb defense is on that elite, elite level like Caruso, Jonathan Issac defense.
I would say tho that overall, PJ is a little better if not the same value because PJ is better overall than Herb. PJ can somewhat score, but he can defend and rebound, while Herb mainly has insane level of defense. Having Lively, Flagg, Herb is easily the best defensive frontcourt in the league by far. Oh my goodness that's just a nasty defensive lineup lol
