Indiana Pacers ECF Trophy & MVP Presentation πŸ† 2025 NBA Playoffs

It was it was 25 years ago that the Pacers went to the NBA finals for the first time, beating the New York Knicks in six games. And now it’s happened again. And the guy who scored 34 points in that clincher 25 years ago, I think you know his name. And usually you just call him by one. I think this [Applause] is and so we’re going to have Reggie do the honors and hand out the uh the Bob Koozie trophy that goes to the Eastern Conference champions to Herb Simon, the chairman and governor. Rick Carile, could I have a word, please? I’ll take that. I’ll take that. Huh? I I’ll hold it, but you can say what you’d like. But go ahead. What’s your first word? In 49 states, it’s just basketball, but this is Indiana. I want to I want to congratulate I want to congratulate the Knicks on a great season. Uh Tom Tibido has done a great job rebuilding that team. They caught a team that has been on a magical ride and our guys earned this. Congratulations to our guys. Rick, I saw you with about 30 seconds to go on the sidelines and I and I think I saw it the first time you have exhaled in this series. You just let it go and like you realize this was over. Um, describe to me the intensity that we saw through six games here. Well, this is this is as intense a series as you’re ever going to have. it only goes six games and we went seven games with these guys last year and so um very difficult very difficult series but our work has just begun. Playoff basketball is such a battle of wills. They know what you want to do. You know what you want to do. How did you do so decisively in the second half today? Assert your will. Well, I I listen, I got to give all the credit to the Gamebridge Fieldhouse fans. You guys lifted us up today. Thank you. And look, our our two star players, Tyrese Hallebertton and Pascal Seakum, put put our team on their backs and they just decided that we were not going to lose this game today. Rick, congratulations. Good luck in the NBA finals. And Ernie, I just want to say congratulations to TNT on a fabulous, unbelievable run. It’s coming to an end. We’re all very sad about that, but you’re a man of great class. Congrats. Thank you so much, Rick. I appreciate you. Thank you. This um this is the Larry Bird trophy. It goes to the MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals. And that MVP is Pascal Seakum. Nice going. All right. Look, [Music] we talked about the way this series has gone and and your big games and we said, “Well, it figures this is an even number game. You’re going to be big tonight.” And you were. How did you How did you get this How did you get this done tonight to move on to the finals? Uh, first of all, shout out Indie, man. It’s It’s been It’s been such an amazing experience for me so far. Um, from the first day I landed here, like the love has been amazing. Uh, Chad KP, um, just unbelievable, man. Like, you know, first class organization. Um, I’m just so happy to be here. And tonight, you know, after after a bad game, you know, a bad game five, we wanted to bounce back and um I have like 100% belief in my teammates. Whenever we down, you know, we always find a way and we did that tonight. We know the pieces that you need to play well and to succeed in this game. But and then tonight, sometimes the unexpected happens and sometimes Thomas Bryant catches fire from deep. Yeah, Thomas. Yeah. You know, I think um obviously, you know, he was he was up and down, you know, sat down and one of the things that he did, you know, when he was sitting down is just supporting. He was the best guy on the bench cheering for everyone. Um he lost his minutes and he kept cheering for everyone. Um you know, that’s that’s basketball. the basketball gods was going to repay you for when you that you that type of teammate and um you were so laser focused tonight and and and helped us win the game tonight. You’re not going to have to worry about any questions about uh the team trying harder than you did tonight because it was obvious, man. You guys did a great job. Congratulations. Hey, could I get could I get Miles Turner to come up here for one moment? What’s going on, man? Look, you are the uh the longest tenur member of this team. 10 seasons wearing this uniform and now you’re going to the NBA finals, man. Tell me tell me what that does for you. Woo! Man, it’s been a long time coming, man. Come on, man. I just First of all, man, I got to give a huge shout out to the Simons, man. never stopped believing in me. This front office, this organization is amazing. I’ve spent a third of my life here, man. It’s crazy. You know, I just I’ve really grown up here with y’all. And um it’s so validating just to to get this in this fashion against our one of our rivals 25 years later. And um I’m just excited for what’s next, man. We got four more. Congratulations. Good luck in the finals. Thanks a lot, Miles. Good to see you, man. Uh, so folks, here are your Eastern Conference champions going to the NBA Finals, the Indiana Pacers. Kevin, Ernie, thank you very much. Reggie has joined us here at the table. Eastern Conference champion Indiana Pacers in six beat the New York Knicks four games to two. And 25 years, Reggie, last time they were in this position, you were on that team. When we clinched, it was in New York, so we didn’t have the luxury of doing it in front of our home crowd, which this place is absolutely electric in here. We had the opportunity to fly back and had a thousand people waiting on us at the airport, which was cool. But to do it in front of this home base and I think coach Carell said it right in 49 other states is just basketball but this is Indiana. It means so much for this state to have the opportunity to win four more games possibly and win a championship. It it it’s it’s just tremendous.

The Indiana Pacers lift the Eastern Conference Finals trophy and Pascal Siakam wins series MVP.

  1. Pascal obviously deserves it but great credits to Hali he's the one who controls the game for pacers. I dont think pacers gonna win without him. Indeed, there's no off night in playmaking

  2. Haliburton's last second shot in game 1 was magnetically aided with an unnatural bounce up and in. Goodbye pro sports. As I kid I thought it was pure but it's clearly a blend of real and scripted ball, with the obedient player-employees on the court.

  3. wonder why ernie didn't even acknowledge halliburton for a good show / play ? even the last 3s shot? huh ? ERNIE'S SO DISRESPECTFUL , it's obvious HE'S A NY fan, that's why !

  4. Be honest! Haliburton ran this whole ship offensively but Pascal did all the dirty work! But the voters are definitely stirring shit like they did there overrated poll

  5. Tyrese really thought it was him… he ready to walk in front but then he heard Paskal Siakam..πŸ˜‚
And they know his feelings got hurt so they decided not to interview him..πŸ˜…

  6. It doesn't matter who got the MVP statuette now. What matters is who will lift the trophy to the finals. A really great fight awaits against Oklahoma β›ΉπŸ»

  7. Hali deserved it imo. But you can't go wrong with either. These guys need to be on there A game if they want to beat the Thunder i hope for an amazing series.

  8. Haliburton Looks embarrassed when he Pointed himself that he is expected to Choice an MVP Eastern Conference Finals..😭😭πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‚πŸ€£ The Father of Haliburton being Hated when his Son is not Choice to an MVP ECF..πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ€ͺ😜😜
