So, in my personal opinion, this is actually a pretty reasonable and pretty fair and even trade for both sides. From the Magic’s perspective, they are of course getting back a superstar player, that being Trey Young. Having a big three next year of Trey Young, France Vagner, and Paulo Bonero could definitely have the potential to do some damage in the Eastern Conference next year. Given how sort of wide open I would say this East is heading into the 202526 season, Orlando could be like a Trey Young trade realistically speaking for being the top team in the entire conference. Like at this point, what’s kind of the weakness for this Magic team? It’s their back court and the lack of star power uh that they currently have. I think they would be addressing this by, you know, Trey Young, one of the best perimeter shooters in basketball. A very flashy player and a player that with some help, especially in the front court, could actually be a pretty cool fit for him. Uh, from the Hawks perspective, they’re giving up on their star player, but perhaps this could be them handing the torch off to someone like Reese Sha, maybe Tyson Daniels, whatever the case may be. There are some pretty good young players on this Hawks roster. If you’re able to add Jaylen Suggs and Jonathan Isaac to the mix, they fit the timeline perfectly fine. And where you’re getting back some pretty good value as well is a first round pick in uh you know two round two two first round picks this year. Number 16 and number 25 over from team in Atlanta doesn’t exactly have their draft capital as that belongs to the San Antonio Spurs. So not a bad way for the Hawks to get a little bit deeper uh and get back some more draft capital which they kind of don’t have right now. But if I had to pick a winner for this deal I just like to fit way too much of Trey uh going to Orlando. So I’m going to have to go with the Magic. But as always, leave your thoughts.
