Chicago Bulls TRADE Nikola Vucevic To The New Orleans Pelicans? | NBA Trade Rumors

So, could the Chicago Bulls be trading away Nicole Vuchovic to the New Orleans Pelicans this 2025 NBA offseason? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from uh Fadeaway World.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself. But this trade would see the Chicago Bulls receiving Kelly Olen, uh, Ye Missy, a 2028 first round pick and a 2032 second round pick, and the New Orleans Pelicans receiving Nola Vuvich. So, in my personal opinion, if Vuvich is shopped this off season, if they can get back any form of future draft capital as well as some assets that can help them, you know, I guess keep their head above water right now in the Eastern Conference, this is a pretty tremendous trade in my books. Like, Nicole Fuji is still a pretty decent player. He’s a more than capable starting center. offensively speaking, you sort of know what you’re getting with him, but he he’s he’s relatively safe in regards to what you’re getting. But he’s an older player and his impact on winning basketball games and going on lengthy playoff runs has really yet to be determined. So, I’m a little bit confused if you’re a team like the Pelicans. Why you’d be giving up first round draft picks, especially too with this new management group, you kind of want to hold on to those draft picks and kind of put your own touch on this roster. And I think someone like Zion Williamson could very well be off the team by the time 2028 rolls around in whatever situation. Maybe they let him go, maybe they trade him, whatever the case may be. Maybe he gets injured in their lottery team. There’s just a lot of risk I think associated with the Pelicans giving up a future first round draft pick. So like I understand they want to get some insurance on Zion being injured. Maybe they want to provide some more talent around him, whatever the case may be. But if that was like a second round pick or whatever, I would like this a lot more. But if you’re the Chicago Bulls and you can turn Nolvich into a first round draft pick down the road from a team that could very well be a lottery team in 2028, sign me up for this every day of the week. So, I think the winner of this deal is the Chicago Bulls. As always, leave your thoughts.
