So, there has been lots of speculation about Demard Rosen potentially being on the trademark this off season and if he is made available uh going to the cross town rivals or I guess the instate rivals the Los Angeles Lakers and for Demar he’d be returning home. So, from the Kings perspective, I actually love this a lot. Like Demar had himself a great year last year, but how did that work for the Kings? They didn’t make the playoffs. There’s lots of question marks and he could very well be traded one year later. So although his value is still high, you sort of have to consider what Demar de Rozan is. He’s offensively very gifted, but he’s probably like a third option on a championship caliber team. Um despite having a pretty awesome career to this point. So Demar Rosen going to the Lakers, I guess, for the short term. If there’s other moves down the line, it could make sense. You’re kind of onedimensional, I would say, um in regards to your scoring options with Demar as well as um some other players on this roster. But I think Demar being a third option on this Lakers team behind LeBron and behind Luca is where he should be. But giving up on Austin Reeves who’s a very young talented player and a good 3 and D option like Vanderbilt. I probably wouldn’t do this for an aging guy like Demar. That’s just my thoughts. So if you’re the Sacramento Kings, I love this deal. Uh you’re getting back Austin Reeves who can hopefully uh thrive in Sacramento and be the future of this franchise. Perhaps if you’re able to uh develop the offense around him. He could develop into like a 20, maybe even a 25 point per game guy. He has that potential. He could truthfully be that good. And Jared Vanderbilt as well is the kind of player that a lot of teams value. He’s a lengthy 3 and D wing. Uh a good veteran at this point. So I think that he could actually fit in pretty well with the Sacramento Kings team and it makes them a little bit deeper as well in my opinion. So could the Kings make a big time move this off season? They very well could. I think Austin Reeves is a step in the right direction if they were to make that deal. If you’re the Lakers and you can do well next year, it’s probably worth it. But if I’m trading Austin Reeves and Jared Vanderbilt, I would probably value getting back a starting center in return. I don’t think someone like Demar really moves the needle for me that much. So, for those reasons, I think the winner of this deal is the Sacramento Kings. Leave your thoughts.
