San Antonio Spurs TRADE Keldon Johnson To The Milwaukee Bucks? | NBA Trade Rumors
So, could the San Antonio Spurs be trading away Kelton Johnson to the Milwaukee Bucks this 2025 NBA off season? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeaway world.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself, but this trade would see the San Antonio Spurs receiving Giannis Entompo and the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Devin Vel, Kellen Johnson, Jeremy Sohan. the number two pick this year, a 2027 first from Atlanta and a 2029 first round draft pick. So yeah, truthfully speaking like this is a ton to give up if you are the Spurs, but at the end of the day, you’d be acquiring Giannis having a big three of De’aran Fox, Giannis Antakmpo, and Victor Wenyama. This is a move that would probably pay dividends as early as September. So, I think that Giannis, if he were to get dealt to the Spurs, they would get back an absolute hall in return for him. This is the kind of trade I would probably have to accept if I was Milwaukee. And truthfully speaking, it could be the very best trade you get, assuming that the first overall draft pick for Cooper Flag is not dangled in front of the Bucks. So, now in this case, they get packed three pretty solid players uh that make this Spurs or that makes this Hawks team or makes this Bucks team, my apologies, a little bit deeper. So, if you’re losing Giannis, it might have to be more of like a by committee group next year and if you’re able to get Vel Johnson and Sohan, that’s pretty good if you ask me. But also too, the second overall pick this year, like could that be Dylan Harper? Could that be someone else? Who knows? That’s an awesome addition to the team. A 2027 first from the Hawks, like they could very well trade Trey Young this off season or next off season and this team could be pretty different. And a first round pick from the Spurs in 29 probably isn’t anything crazy. But we’re getting back the most value here is the second overall draft pick this year. Three really talented, more than capable starters in this league in Facel, Johnson, and Sohan. And then two future first round draft picks. So if you’re the Bucks, you can keep those draft picks for a bit of a rebuild or you can trade those picks if all goes well and kind of build for the short term. So who knows what’s going to happen. So I love this deal. I think at the end of the day, you have to kind of side with the Spurs because they are getting back the best uh the best player. But 3 years from now, if the Spurs wouldn’t win a championship and the Bucks are looking phenomenal and they hit on that number two overall draft pick, this would be a win for Milwaukee. So, those are just my thoughts. As always, leave yours down below.
