Anthony Edwards Isn’t Ready To Be The Face Of The NBA!
Anthony Edwards has the potential to be one of the greatest players this game has ever seen. But we might have gave him the crown a little bit too early. He’s got it all. He can seemingly get to the bucket whenever he chooses. He can score from the mid-range. He has a very high basketball IQ. He seems to always make the right pass. this past season, he even turned himself into one of the greatest three-point shooters in the entire league. So, it’s only a matter of time before Ant-Man starts to average 30. He grabs his first MVP and he takes the entire league by storm. But plain and simple, he’s just not there yet. For as much as fans, media, and the league itself wants him to be that guy, the reality of it is is he is just not there yet. And that’s okay. Anthony Edwards has time. Jordan didn’t win his first ring until 28. Bronn didn’t win his first ring until 27. Should Jason Tatum, who just won his first ring at 26, he went through some of the same things that Anthony Edwards is currently going through right now. It’s only a matter of time before he really reaches his full potential. When he does, it’s getting scary for everybody.
