Brooklyn Nets Signing Caris LeVert??
Yo, what’s going on guys? This is Houston Sports Talk back into another video today and today we’re going to be talking about the Brooklyn Nets potentially signing Caris Levert and Caris Levert potentially returning to the Brooklyn Nets where he has played a lot of his career. Carris Levert uh spent his first five seasons of his career with the Brooklyn Nets from 2016 to 2021. 202021 season was when they traded him from Brooklyn to Indiana. Then he got traded from um he got traded from Indiana uh to Cleveland, which the trade to Indiana from Indiana to Cleveland honestly might have saved his life because uh they found out when he went from Indiana to Cleveland, they found out that he had um cancer. Um, so yeah, that that was really that trade was really good for him. Uh, when when that trade happened, it was a I think a blessing in disguise. Um, now uh and you know, he spent some he spent some good years in Cleveland. By the way, it was kidney cancer in 2021. Um, oh, and you know what, actually, I was wrong. It was the trade that brought it was it was the trade that brought him to the Pacers, not to the Cats. when he when he went from when he went from the when he went from the Nets, well, actually it was Nets. It was actually the Rockets to the It was actually Rockets to the to the Pacers cuz the Nets trade him to the Rockets in the Harden trade and then the Rockets traded him uh from Indie. Uh Rockets traded him from Houston, which he never played for the Rockets uh to Indie for Victor Lindipo. Uh and they discovered he had kidney cancer in 2021. Um now so that that was a but it was a small mass on his left kidney. Um and so he he went he had surgery was successful and everything was okay. Uh thank God. And then so then he gets straight from Indie to Cleveland and spent uh four seasons in Cleveland. One was a half two two of those seasons were half seasons though. 202122 season and and 2024 25 season. So two only two full seasons. But this year was really good with Atlanta and Cleveland. 10.2 2 points per game for Cleveland, 15 points per game for Atlanta, four rebounds per game, three assists per game. He’s a great three-point shooter. Um, this year 37% 2022 23 season, 39%. Great scorer. He’d be a great addition for the Brooklyn Nets. And it’s been it was reported by uh NBA Central that the Nets are could be interested alongside uh alongside the Pistons could be interested in bringing him in this offseason. It’d be an interesting addition. Um, you guys, let me know. The Nets and the Nets, they’re they’re in a position to spend a lot of money this off season um and be active in freency and maybe trademark it as well.
