The Raptors have a lot to offer in a trade package. No matter the trade, it'll sting. The Bucks would be trading the face of their team so they want to make sure that their future is better than it is now. The only REAL leverage the Raptors have atm is if Giannis is genuinely interested in coming here. Because teams like the Spurs and Rockets could definitely offer more if they wanted. I told my gf that I would buy a Giannis jersey if he becomes a Raptor.
Windy said what everyone already knows and expects. But It's good that Windy finally came out and said it. Frankly none of the other reports were real – they were all speculative.
Raptors have 2 main fish they are targeting in an either/or home run out of the park – scenario – Giannis or Zion with a heavely focus on Giannis. Zion is a backup option that can enacted if Giannis isn't happening.
I don't think they will – but I'd even be ok with a deal for Giannis that focuses on Scottie or BI. The Raps are too small at the 4 for the east. Doug isn't wrong – he has direct lines to the family and his take was pretty valid. I'd just say our front office isn't dumb – if they are taking great roster player – less picks. If they want the full 4 picks – they get less from our core. Raps are very uniquely positioned and flexible even have Boucher's 10M up to July 1 to put in the deal – and that helps Milwaukee a lot as it would get them out of the repeater tax ( I don't know why they want to keep Portis so bad if they are going into a rebuild – it appears they are going to extend him) – while still taking on talented players in salary match. Bucks don't have Dame next year – and nobody credible to fill in – and the leaugue isn't going to give them a disabled players exemption. They have it tough on the cap. just saying… Quickly Boucher and Jacoby plus some draft compensation is a really good look for Milwaukee. Fixes a lot of problems for them – works on cap.

I say we continue to grow with the guys we already have, it’s already going to be a weak east, no point in gutting our future for Giannis but if it does happen, we need to make sure to keep all our sharp shooters and jak and BI. Everyone else can go

Whether you like it or not, scottie is the obvious teade chip and the better move. Giannis and scottie are similar size and game style. Neither is an outside threat. RJ is more versatile.
Starting 5 of Jacob, giannis, BI, RJ and IQ, is a perfect fit and would be one of the best starting 5 in the league.
I can see scottie, dick and a first for giannis.

With Giannis – it won't involve SB or BI or IQ, that would be the 4. Raps will get Lakers involved with Jak going to LA, Barrett and Reeves plus others going to the Bucks. Raps can offer more picks and don't have to give up as many players, and this allows them to not gut the team. Any deal will happen before the draft…soon. And there's lots of veteran center affordable FA's available this summer. Now go make your 3 way trades.

This years playoffs are showing how valuable Raptors players are. The Raptors can get Giannis without having to give up Scottie or Ingram. Trade RJ, Ocahai , Grady , the 9# pick and maybe Jakob.

I can never be mad if we got Giannis but i would be very sadd if we included Scottie in the deal. Maybe im crazy but i want to see how the Scottie, BI parring looks. Reminds me of OG + Barnes line up but BI is like the inverse of OG. Strong offensively with playing and should a decent maybe good defender as he seems motivated to be great on that end too
