But this trade would see the San Antonio Spurs receiving Lori Markin and the Utah Jazz receiving Devin Vel, Kelvin Johnson, Malachi Brainham, and the number over a number two overall draft pick in this year’s NBA draft. So, in my personal opinion, this is way too much for the Spurs to give up for Lori Markin. I think if they’re able to offer Vel Johnson, Brainham, plus the number two pick this year, they could potentially put themselves in the sweep stakes for players that are a little bit uh I would say better than Lori Minan. So, this could definitely put them into maybe like the John Morant conversation. Uh maybe the Kevin Durant conversation and possibly even the Giannis Antmpo conversation or conversation. So I understand if the Spurs kind of strike out on acquiring those players specifically Kevin Durant and Jiannisent Kmpo. So I could definitely see Lori Markin as a realistic pivot option for them. But this trade is just a little bit too rich for my liking. Like if it was Devin Vel Johnson and maybe like a future draft pick of the Hawks for instance like a 2027 Hawks pick for instance that makes a little bit more sense. But the number two overall draft pick this year like I wouldn’t even trade that flat out for Lori Markin truthfully speaking. So this just seems way too much for the Jazz to give up or for sorry for the Spurs to give up for someone like Lori Markin. Now yes I think Lori Markin makes this team better having a big three of Li Markin uh Victor Lambyama and De’arren Fox would definitely be you know a good team next year no doubt but the Spurs almost get a little bit worse with this uh with this trade. So, thank you for the Utah Jazz. Take this to the bank, cash it in as soon as possible. This would be a phenomenal package for Lorie Markin. So, without a doubt, in my mind, the Utah Jazz win this deal. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
