So, I know what you guys are probably thinking. this would be an amazing trade for the Wizards to make, but I really don’t think that it’s that awful all things considered for the Denver Nuggets. Now, the biggest weakness just watching the Nuggets in this past NBA playoffs for them is the depth, right? The depth for this team was really tested, especially too uh with the injuries to a bunch of their players. Jokic just couldn’t carry the load himself, especially come playoff time. That’s a hard thing for anyone to do. So, I do think that when it comes to this makeup of the Nuggets lineup, uh they have to improve on their depth for the 202526 season. In a perfect world, if you can get another superstar uh to play with, uh Durant and Murray and Gordon and those guys, yeah, I guess that could make some sense. But realistically speaking, if you’re trading Michael Porter Jr., you probably want to get back some depth in return. Now, I still think that if you are the Nuggets, you would probably want to get back maybe a draft pick or two, uh, just for some more assets because you are getting back a bit of an older player in Marcus Smart. Defensively speaking, really solid. Cory Kasper’s a nice player to add to the rotation as well. And MPJ has some injury concerns. So, this trade does kind of satisfy both teams needs because the Nuggets get a little bit deeper by getting Smart and Kispird. And if you’re the Wizards, you’re getting a good young player that does have superstar potential. So perhaps if he were to go to Washington, they can give him the ball a little bit more. He can have a little bit more freedom to play within this system. He could be a pretty cool fit like having a one-two punch for the foreseeable future of Alex Sar and um you know, Michael Porter Jr. that could be pretty fun for the Wizards if MPJ can stay healthy. Injuries are obviously a bit of a concern. So I think the winner of this deal individually speaking is the Wizards. They are getting back the best player. There’s a bit of a risk, but I think he’s like only 26 or 27 years old. So, lots of productive years left. If the injuries happen, they happen. But when healthy, this could be an awesome thing for the Wizards. But if you’re the Nuggets, you’re getting back some good depth. And if you want to add some veterans like Marcus Smart to the mix, no team would ever say no to that because he’s a very valued player. So, those are just my thoughts. Leave yours down below.
