you have an entire roster full of all stars and Hall of Famers and you sold your future for them for what it was essentially one year of attempted winning because let’s remind the class everybody instead of that Paul Pierce Jason Terry Kevin Garnett blockbuster trade they could have kept those picks and you know who those picks would have given them today NBA champions Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown does that mean that the 2023 24 ba Champions could have been the Brooklyn Nets you’re goddamn right it means it could have been that because they would have had Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown on top of money to spend that they weren’t paying Kevin Garnett Paul Pierce Jason Terry and the rest of those scrubs except for you Joe Johnson respect to you I appreciate your C

  1. They wouldn't have tatum or brown. They would have fultz/ball and buddy hield or something. Celtics nailed the picks.

  2. Cmon man you all know Nets would have drafted Markelle Fultz instead of Tatum that year. Celtics traded down in the smartest draft move ever

  3. Nets wouldnt have drafted brown and tatum because both those picks were considered reaches at the time (tatum wouldve went 1 if the 6ers didnt trade)

  4. We had to open the building….that pierce garnett brooklyn team went to the players back to back to back…..we couldn't wait until 2024 to finally be good….this guy makes no sense….leave my brooklyn nets alone

  5. Lazy lazy narrative. and wrong. IF the Nets kept their picks, there is NO guarantee they would have drafted the players Boston drafted. 2016 instead of Brown they could have drafted Hield or Murray. 2017 i can see them going for Fultz or Ingram. Just because Boston drafted them doesn't mean Brooklyn would have

  6. This is a dumb way to view it. Those were just first round picks, absolutely no reason at the time to believe they’d become great players.
