Can The Raptors Do It Again?

Can The Raptors Do It Again?

The best decision the Raptors have ever made was making a huge move for Kawhi Leonard. And it looks like they’re trying to recreate that same kind of move this off seasonason. With reports coming out saying the team is looking for a big fish, everyone obviously started looking at Giannis. Because of the obvious rumors on his future with Milwaukee, it would be the most Toronto Raptors kind of move to bring him onto this team and instantly win a championship like it’s nothing. Only problem is that this current Raptors team is nowhere near as good as the 2019 team was. And by the way, that’s excluding Kawhi Leonard. And I’m not trying to downplay what Kawhai did for this team, but nobody really gives the core guys any credit for this run, which has kind of led people to think the Raptors are a magical organization that just needs one superstar to win a championship. I mean, assuming Scotty Barnes would be a part of the deal, do you really think Giannis would leave Damen Lillard to have Grady Dick as his co-star? I do want to clarify, I absolutely love Dick, so this is no hate towards him. Either way, a lot of this feels unrealistic to me simply because the Bucks can’t really get anything in return that I find to be worth

The raptors are apparently looking to get Giannis soon but the question is can he do what Kawhi Leonard has done for the Toronto Raptors?
