The San Antonio Spurs Devin Vassell appears to be the odd man out and expected to trade him. Spurs have De’Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle and now Potentially Dylan Harper. Spurs might have no choice but to trade Vassell.

If he makes 27 mil for a couple of years and Julian makes 3 million, that averages out to 15 mill for two great bench players.

If Devin's poor season was because of his injury, then why was he playing? Is it possible that Devin's inconsistent play is actually who he will be for the rest of his career?
You can't pay Vassell 30M a year and expect to win a championship, but if you just want to participate in the playoff, that's ok, so depends on what their goal is.
If ur trading him for giannis or kd, sure. But the spurs don’t need to trade him to acquire depth pieces. That’s what free agency is for. Also trading a guy right after having the worst year of his career is one of the dumber things you can do

Vassell AND Keldon will be gone by October's training camp. They cannot help the Spurs anymore and will be included in a trade with picks to acquire a young 3&D all-star SF.
Stop mentioning Harper being on the team. You know that pick is going to be traded for a better haul than the Hawks trade in 2022. Brian Wright isn't stupid. He knows he got the Golden Ticket getting the #2 pick instead of #1.
Vassell’s problem is his ceiling is low at a dying SG position. He’s not a great defender, playmaker, shooter, or athlete. He’s a bucket getter in a league of bucket getters on 2 year, $10M contracts.
He only had one 30 point game last season despite being the #1 option for the end of the year. His second best game was 25/4/3/2/2 in Paris. That should be a routine game for some getting paid like him.
