Mavericks rumors on 2025 NBA Free Agency are heating up with free agency beginning on June 30! Dante Exum is a free agent after playing the last two seasons with the Mavs, and according to NBA Insider Marc Stein, there is mutual interest in a return between Exum and the Mavs. Mavs GM Nico Harrison should explore a reunion with Dante Exum, who has been a reliable player for Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd. The Phoenix Suns head coaching search has been narrowed down to two candidates, neither of which are Mavs assistant coach Sean Sweeney. We also take a look at the 2025 NBA Finals and who could come out on top.

For the right price , exum is a very good piece,who could really help us in a tough playoff matchup.
S! Kyrie out. Spence a free agent. Naji isn't a pure pg. B Will is new to this. Even if we sign CP3, keep Exum.
I honestly would be perfectly fine if our guard rotation until Kyrie comes back ends up being CP3, Williams & Exum.

Exum was building good chemistry with Klay and Max Christie till he got hurt with some Phantom hand/wrist injury after being cleared back. He was also on a 15+ppg scoring tear before that 2nd injury hurt his momentum and rhythm.
He is a good player who is aggressive and can press full court on defense. His only issues really is no midrange jumper and his full throttle play style causing durability issues. But he doesn't get credit for his point guard play and is great for the roster to have.
Rooting for Carlisle but I think OKC wins.
Trade him and CALEB and OMAX then get CP3
