Carson guessing Dantley before MJ and being right was fucking insane lmao
Only team that felt demoralizing in the way that youre describing okc that Ive seen is the jordan dynasty.
That said, the one team that didnt get demoralized by them that whole dynasty was the 98 pacers ironically. They played them similar to denver did this playoffs.
Indy can beat this team. Hali needs to be super aggressive the whole time though
I want Cheter box gone after this season you hear me nerds 🤓
SGA IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD NOT JOKIC
Love you guys, but the theory behind the love, tap him or foul him hard which actually means try and hurt him is terrible. If a team is that much better than the other, and you are actively seeking out to try and hurt them, that’s not sportsmanship. That’s just Terrible. The better and more ethical way of saying it is like, as a thunder fan, hoping the Knicks and Pacers series goes seven games. But just advocating for people to waste cheap fouls with bench players who are essentially trying to hurt someone is just unconscionable.
jarace walker died dude lmao??
I think Pacers are going to shock the world by winning the first game. Pacers hang their hats on scoring and they want Shay to score so they can score. The rims get tight when it's winning time and Pacers are super clutch. No one told Pacers how to win the other series but Pacers won early. Pacers in 6
SGA rides the backs of the refs.
Didn't Haliburton score on Giannis (one on one) but he can't score on Chet?
Hypothetically how would Okc's defense guard Shai? just a thought
My Lord how many times you mentioned True Shooting too much talking about metrics that's not everything in a basketball game😩
SGA isn't The second coming of Jesus Christ. He has as much playoff experience and finals experience as anybody else. A lot of his points also come from the foul line.
Why did you use per 75 for the Chet stats at the 5 versus per 100 that’s always used wen comparing lineups
haliburton, tim burton, isaac newton thunder in 6
How much of the excitement for this series is to see the thunder be validated as one of the best teams ever? @nerdsesh
Playing physical without fouling won't work on SGA alot of people say that but it's impossible to be physical without fouling especially against a superstar who understands how to draw fouls at a high level
Probably blind delusion but Shady is gonna choke. Cers in 6
Are yall really that young that you forgot that the thunder made the finals in 2012??? Cmon
If OKC shoots the 3 like they did in round two against Nuggets, the Pacers have a prayer. But if they’re hot like they were in conf finals (and all season), it’s already over.
Pacers have taken out 3 of the top 5 scorers in the Playoffs already, GIANNIS, Mitchell, and BRUNSON. SGA is 5th. SGA can average 40 and Pacers could still win. Knicks had 2 Players scoring nearly 30 a night and Pacers still won. OKC will need to have 5-6 players averaging double figures to match what the Pacers roster averages. This series will come down to the ROLE players and benches.
Loser mentality from Logan here calling for hard fouls
i weirdly love maximum obi toppin minutes in this series. he’s one of the harder players to guard bc he makes erratic decisions but has really good tools to finish plays still. he’s also maximizes the transition offense which i feel like the pacers need even more of bc they are going to really struggle to score against half court set defense. and i also think he’s a weirdly good sga defender bc of his athleticism, size, and recoverability to contest shots. also he can maybe eat fouls if needed if you really think 20 mins is the max he can play
who will save basketball more: aaron wiggins or aaron nesmith?
I think OKC never won a championship when they were named Seattle SuperSonics either.
As a Pacers fan, no disrespect taken. On paper it’s a nightmare matchup for us, but if any team is going to upset this historic team, it would be this historic Pacers team with 3 of the most improbable comebacks in playoff history.
Yeah it’s clear these guys aren’t very familiar with pacers ball
Pacers proved over and over a star scoring 40-50 a night won't beat them. They are a different offense than okc has faced. They are shooting over 40% from 3. Okc only chance is good 1 on 1 defense because pacers always find the open man. Pacers may get beat but they won't be ran over easily
SGA is gonna get his no matter what, I think it makes way more sense to put Nesmith on JDub because OKC needs the supporting cast to do well in order to win. Look at the earlier series from Indiana: Giannis, Spida, and Brunson all ate, but Dame, Mobley, and KAT really struggled. The Pacers are fine with a guy dropping 35 on them as long as they can contain everybody else
Shais toughest individual matchup already happened last series hes gonna fry whoever indiana puts on him
What do yall think of the pacers pulling out a random zone in like a 3rd quarter lmao
I think jdub is gonna be huge in the series too, I don’t think Indy really has anyone for him becuase they can’t get away with switching siakam with hart and Chet on the floor
He’s not an all time great yet chill out you can’t just give it to him even if he only wins one ring, multiple are needed to be an all time great and yes he needs a ring to validate he’s an all time player like what are we talking about
You're really advocating for taking SGA out? Which is what your saying. Pretty fucking low man.
What are your thoughts on Rick Carlisle specifically? I feel like in all the times you’ve talked about the pacers he’s never been mentioned
