Heat. N. [Music] [Music] [Music] And he’s good on the second. What we know about Lou D is this guy is an excellent defender. He’s got size, strength, versatility. You can basically throw him at the other team’s best offensive weapon night after night. D Smith shot is off. All alone from mid-range. They know he won’t miss many of those. Williams, they grab their own miss. He gets it in there. Williams has got 13 points here in the second half alone. They just look so overwhelmed inside. That’s why they continue to get attacked. McConnell outside. Hallebertton for three. That one’s good on the assist from McConnell. McConnell’s got three assists in the game. Now here’s Williams. Knee Smith [Applause] covering outside. Williams. Pass to Williams on the way. Caruso. Oklahoma City’s got to hurry. They got to get up the shots. Williams misses. Boy, this guy just can’t buy a bucket and yet they have the advantage. There’s a screen by Topham. Here’s Hallebertton. Takes a big high bounce and goes in. Hallebertton’s got five points now this quarter. Well, because he’s a three-level scorer, anywhere he is on the floor, Hallebertton capable of creating jumpers. [Applause] Williams. Passes to Caruso. There’s a screen by Wiggins. Caruso misses. Pacers trail by eight. Finds Hallebertton. Bryant with it. Pounded by Wiggins. Fade away. Oh, got a piece of it and stolen by Williams. Oh, they get a hand on it. McConnell against Caruso. Now here’s doors defending screen on Caruso. Hallebertton for three gets rebounded by Oklahoma City. Williams has got six rebounds now in the game. We played just over three and a half minutes now in the fourth quarter. [Applause] Great D that time from Hallebertton. Pacers trail by 10. Pass to Bryant outside Dmith. Let’s go with a three. Yes, sir. And it’s Bryant picking up the assist here in the second half. They’re really focused on stretching the floor. And guys, boy, when you’re hitting, it sure does work. It obviously opens up major options at the offensive end. Caruso finds Wiggins, puts up a three and Bryant pulls it down. Bryant’s got a rebound number five here tonight. Hallebertton pass to Dear. Down low, here’s Toins and the slam dunk by Toppins. terrific energy at both ends to sustain this run. They found their composure on both ends of the floor and that is what triggered this run. And there’s a pick. Now here’s Williams. He’s guarded closely. That one goes in. It doesn’t matter what position Don Williams happens to be playing on any given night. This guy’s a force offensively. Out of bounds, the Oklahoma City’s ball. So for Oklahoma City, Hartenstein comes in for Williams and Joe subbed in for Wiggins. [Applause] [Music] outside Williams and the layup falls and now it’s a nine-point Oklahoma City lead. You talk about Williams versatility as a scorer. He can get his points from just about any [Applause] spot. Hallebertton outside. Here’s a screen by Bryant again. The Pacers good for two more. I’ll tell you, you have got to have a short memory. You put a poor first half behind you and you get to work here in the second. Pass to [Applause] Hardenstein. Williams up top. Guarded by Toppen. Williams misses. Pacers trail by seven. Hallebertton. The pass to Bryant. And then Bryant with the dunk. Oh, you love it when Thomas Bryant tries to finish with power. Forget about try. He does it. What a pretty dumb outside Joe. Pass to Williams. There’s a [Applause] screen and it’s Tyresese Hallebertton with a rebound and Hallebertton has got the ball here for the Indiana Pacers. Smith shot is off. outside. Joe outside Williams over top it on target from about 13 ft. Williams has got 10 points now just in this quarter. What an aggressive mindset in this period. He’s starting to take over and we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile. He is not messing around. calling them into the huddle. It’s your one and only a different look for Oklahoma City Homegrren. He’s checked in for Caruso and Shay Gilus Alexander is subbed in for Joe. All right, let’s get a report from Alli. Well, over the break, I listened in on Rick Carile’s huddle, and it was a frustrated huddle. Coaches and players were angry about the turnovers. Players trying to hold each other accountable. They are fed up with sloppy play. Let’s see how they respond, guys. Thank you for that, Ally. Seakum finds Hallebertton. Pass to Turner and stolen by Hardenstein. Homegrren with it. Seakum covering. Homegrren size beats the contact. A beautiful finish through contact. That’s the dog in home. Pacers trail by nine [Applause] outside. Here’s Seakum. Oh, it’s blocked. It deflects off the backboard inside. Here’s Williams. Pass to Gilis Alexander and he got the whistle on the way up. So, he’ll be headed to the line for a pair. Benedict Mather picks one up. Boy, Shay Gildish Alexander has become the master at drawing fouls. Gil Alexander taking two shots. First one falls for him. Boy, the more you watch Shay Gilas Alexander play, the more he shows you the aspects of his game just getting better and better and better. on the miss. Both free throws good from Gilis Alexander. This is about the last guy you want to send to the stripe right now. They keep fouling him and he keeps making them outside Min. Oh, deflected and it’s Gilas Alexander on the drive and slam dunk Mike Gilis Alexander. Their offense has been unstoppable, just firing on all cylinders. And at this point, it is their game to lose. They’ve done such a good job building the lead. Here’s Turner. It’s good. And he drew contact on the shot. So, he will go to the line. A three-point play opportunity. Foul 17 foul shooting three miles [Applause] That one misses for Turner. Well, Miles Turner understands how to use his size and length. Doesn’t matter if he’s blocking shots or going for his high release point jump shot. And that one’s good. Homegr, you can see it. Once this guy gets his rhythm, he is so hard to slow down. What an excellent night for him and his team. Here’s Seakum. Oh, plenty of contact on that shot. Officials call the foul and he’ll take two free throws now. Boy, Pascal Seakum can put a ton of pressure on the defense. This guy has a physicality that you love. [Music] [Applause] First free throw is good. One of the things that we’re watching happen with Pascal Seakkum is the willingness to accept more and more responsibility both from a leadership and a productivity standpoint guys and it has been something else to watch that growth. Seakum hits them both. I think the value of Pascal Seakum is the skill set on both ends of the floor. He can play multiple positions either end and he can lift his team in any number of ways. Homegrren against Seiakum. Hardenstein with a screen on Seakum. Here’s Homegrren. Homegrren takes the hit and converts and force feeding the ball inside. I mean, no reason to go away from what’s working. Hallebertton surveys the floor and it’s stolen by Holren, steps back. Oh, and there’s the whistle on the shot. So, two free throws for him coming up. Well, the tremendous length of the guard spot that Shay Alexander presents is a problem for a lot of defensive players. [Applause] [Applause] and he drops the first. What you love about Shay Gil just Alexander is this young man’s work ethic. He is a gym rat who is always looking for ways to improve. [Applause] Both free throws good from Gilis Alexander. Here’s Hallebertton. And we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile looking to get everyone dialed in and [Music] [Applause] engaged. Stormtakers. Everybody get loud and give them some [Applause] love. Stormtakers. [Applause] Mather finds Hallebertton. Back to Matherin. Now Hallebertton. Pass to Turner. Second shot opportunity. Two points. Up it goes. Turner’s got four points in the quarter. Yeah, Miles Turner can carve space. Don’t let that lean frame fool you. He can get inside and score deep. Door outside. [Applause] The bank shot. No good. Pacers trail by 13 with the step [Applause] back. Hallebertton outside. Turner. A screen on [Applause] Gordon. Hallebertton against Dort. Clock is at three. The body control of Hallebertton. Tough Tyrese Hallebertton. And here’s Dorton. A minute 58 left in the fourth quarter [Applause] here outside. Gilis Alexander. That’s good. Gilas Alexander’s got 30. Gildas Alexander is a thirsty scorer and if you concede the mid-range, he’ll take it. Hallebert against Gilgus Alexander. High arcing shot. Hallebert no good. He’s got a great defensive mind. He gets good position and affects the release. And he did it without fouling. And that’s becoming hard changing shots without making [Applause] contact. Going inside to Turner. There’s the three and it’s Jay Gilis Alexander with the rebound. Gilg Alexander’s got rebound number eight here already in the game. And as the clock winds down, it’ll be interesting to see how both teams adjust in game two. But confidence building indeed for the Thunder and it seemed like steals ended up making the difference in this game. No question. Their ability to force mistakes and turn them into points gave them an upper hand tonight. And they’re off to a strong start in these NBA finals going up 10. They really sent a clear message tonight that they intend to win this series. They played with real determination out there and you just hope they can maintain this energy level. And what a huge performance it was for Chad Homegrren. Boy, his activity really stood out to me on the defensive end. He harassed ball handlers, came up with steals in transition, yet the feeling guys were looking over their shoulder worried he was going to pick their pocket. Dort shot is good. Their home crowd has energized them all game now.
