What moves do you want to see Milwaukee make this offseason?
Jericho Sims is the only big on the roster (besides Giannis) who doesnt fill his shoes with concrete before every game. As a Bucks fan I felt like I was watching an alien when he first played for us. It was so refreshing.
Can't we somehow get Lonzo Ball and Cam Johnson using all of our assets?

1. Dame sentimental value
2. Clearing up spots for other guys
3. Moving tougher contracts
My thing is ur taking back roughly 55 mil in practically dead money as dame isnt gonna play. Id rather explore first seeing if we can get maybe expirings or players that can play and fit what we want to do with what we are building. I mean if ur not getting as much value in term of assets like the couple firsts in this deal then sure I’ll get behind it maybe but also dames got 2 yrs. Theres no way a buyout involving that nearly 60 mil in final yr is done right?
I also dont think u can give the blazers ownership of that 2028 swap because im pretty sure the bucks owe a unprotected 2029 pick to someone.
But u know what if Milwaukee can turn dame into grant, simons, and ayton then honestly job well done

As a bucks fan, I’d definitely focus on resigning Gary Trent, Rollins, and sims.
I’d trade kuzma for anything like Rozier would be great. I know he’s not good but if he can play anything like he did before Miami he’ll be better than kuzma.
I honestly think Portis picks up his player option. Not a good defender at all, turning 30 and I don’t see a team paying him more when guys like naz Reid are in free agency.
I’d hope bucks could trade Portis for Wendell Carter considering the financial situation Orlando is in they might look to move Wendell Carter for anything expiring like Portis if bucks add a second.
Then bucks trade Connaughton with Andre Jackson to the bulls for Jalen smith.
I dont know their salary exacts and how much they would have remaining to pay some other free agent but they need someone to start at SF

There's no team that will be willing to take on that nightmare contract. Not even Portland. There's no real incentive for them to take those player's. None of this is enough to keep Giannis around either. If I'm Giannis I want an improved roster like yesterday. Or I'm asking out, he can give them the off-season to see what happens. But idk why he would. If he stays it would be a miracle for the Bucks. I don't see it happening. Realistically, they're year's away from being able to rebuild a competent team around Giannis. So why stick around and waste all your prime year's? I get that you wanna keep him. But I don't see it happening. If you can't win with him, might as well trade him.

The dark horse scenario in a Giannis trade is if the spurs win the draft lottery. Hypothetically in that case they can offer a package of Vassell, Sochan, #1 pick for Giannis. I think both teams accept in that case. A trio of Wemby Giannis and Fox are immediate championship contenders. For Milwaukee, i get you dont want him to go, but they could start fresh with Flagg and would probably never get a return like this for Giannis whenever the trade request happens. I had to stop with the Portland trade. The only place Dame goes is Phoenix for Beal… there is no other trade. You hope he turns into 3 year ago Beal and plays shooting guard again.
You think the Bucks might try to get their 26' pick back if they trade Giannis, maybe try and bring in some injured talent too so they can tank but still have a competitive team in 27'? Could that be a feasible way out?

Portland traded Damien- why would they want him back, esp under these circumstances. Damien'd probably nix this, also. Best bet is a sign n trade with Lopez and Portis for youth like Kuminga+.
As for Kuzma, it'd have to be a trade for a big contract someone else doesn't want anymore, preferably a starting small forward included. Kyle is not as bad as said (stats from Wash and Mil are similar) but definitely not as good as hoped for (a big 3!); the PLO showed he'd be better off the bench (if not the team) and lower expectations if he stays.
Any Giannis trade should include Kuzma and even Lillard if possible. THAT is the price and most of the NBA'd be willing to pay it.
