Kat got Thibs fired with his defense.
Thier was plenty of flaws with Thibbs. Most important issue was not using the bench to give the front office an idea of what needed. They sign players Thibbs recommend but he didn't put on the court. FO sign DRose then he was on the bench after second season. Traded away picks and young players to get vets. Then it the offense system it was grind just to get a points.
Everyone outside of Brunson! That were included in the exit meeting, everyone, that includes Hart, Bridges, KAT. Players roles need to be more defined! I’m not going all the way in it but things were a mess and the Brunson hero ball and bouncing the air out of the ball is noticeable!
Before giving Thibs an extension they wanted Erik Spoelstra, but he got a big extension from Miami

Bottom line thibs took the Knicks as far as he could but to win a championship thibs ain’t doing that he’s a good coach not a championship coach

Mikal Bridges call out Thibs in the regular season saying Thibs playing the players too many minutes.Thibs should play the bench more. Mikal did not have a great series. I see him complaining.

Got fired bc the Knicks are not better than the Pacers. Neither were the Bucks nor the Cavaliers and it seems neither are the Thunder.
But none of those teams fired their coach.
Tibbs got the Knicks to the conference finals. I don't see why he needed to get fired. It looked as though he was changing his stance on playing the bench and he was beginning to use the bench more. I think where we need improvements is the bench and we need to find a great bench unit. I think Leon Rose is more responsible for the Knicks failing this year to win the Championship.

You’re the only one I see reporting that anyone had a problem with Thibodeau and that cat had anything to do with it. I’m seeing multiple reports that people are upset with Rick Brunson being the assistant coach and having too much power.
