Hell no! Dead the rumors about Giannis coming to Brooklyn. Sean Marks build the Nets organically
Wow, I like the new host. The last pair of hosts were super great. Gonna find them where they work now and support them always. New host is well spoken, seems sharp and passionate. I am happy. Thanks Locked On Nets. Great episode.
First of all, Sean Marks would have to earn his money here, if he has any competence whatsoever he would not be giving up the first 2 first round picks this year at least, they still have more first round picks than any other team to give up in the future. You take the first two pics this year use them and still trade maybe five future first round picks maybe a couple this year for Giannis. And you might have to give up Claxton and or Cam Johnson. You can have a slice of the cake and eat it too.
Then go get a veteran power forward 6 foot 10 or taller power forward and a 7 foot center. D Lo and Dennis Schroeder can hold down the point our spot I would bring both of them back. So Giannis could play the small forward now you have a big team that can compete and you won’t lose to Orlando anymore because of size or the Knicks.
And if Giannis does come here, he needs to understand Jordi Fernandez is the coach that’s it period.
Do you want the Nets to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo or take a more patient approach and build through the draft?
Go Nets!
I can see both sides of the Giannis argument. It will be interesting to see which direction the Nets front office decides. Great show!
First things first, we should package a couple of our picks this year to move up. I'd be happy with two impact players out of this draft.
Great new hosts, very excited for the channel, great episode
Yeah going after Gianni’s makes no sense for our timeline. Be patient and we’ll be there soon
Another great listen
What about Cedric Coward? What number is he projected to land on? His tryouts looked insane. Perfect shot, did not miss any 3s. long arms, good handle and athletic.
KON KNUEPPEL = CORY KISPERT 2.0. His floor is his ceiling . NO Thank !!
🔥🔥🔥
Simple answer: No
Miss the other guys. New host seems nice but says "obviously" WAY too much! Gotta clean that up. Opening day jitters.
My dream draft for Nets: Essengue at 8. Trade Cam J and 26 to SAS for 14 and N Traore. Take Maxime Raynaud at 19. Three Frenchman. "The Three Musketeers!!!!" A PG, a 3 and a 5 to go with Whitehead at 2 and Clowney at 4.
Shout out from Puerto Rico
No.
They don't have anybody else to play and hope for winning season.
I just don’t get the love that Lucas and Eric have for the nets taken Kon or Noah at 8. Forget about whether they’re boring pics or not they’re ceilings are just not high enough for the next to be considering them in those spots they’re complementary players. The Nets need to be swinging for the fences. I’m pretty much every pic. Mark has shown that he can get complementary role players from nowhere. He doesn’t need to burn high draft on these guys.
But then in the same bra, Lucas is down on Egor Demin? Demon has a much higher ceiling than Kon. Demin may be the best passer in the draft. Hr shot 68% in the paint so this idea that he can’t develop into a shooter I don’t get it.
The net have to go for high ceiling really young guys with pretty much every single pick in their primary skill set need to be shot making and shot creation. Those are the elite skill set that stars have just being able to shoot 40% for three like Kohn doesn’t mean you’re gonna be a star you can be Joe Harris and that’s not the type of player that the nets should be trying to covet as they try to rebuild this roster. They should be completely in Star search mode not in good player mode.
No way you pass on Queen at eight
loving the direction Erik!
New era !!!
Keep bringing on guests Erik. That's definitely your strong suit.
All the best Erik as new host!!I always followed you, will keep doing that
Slater you gotta talk about two players the top five or six players I could see the Nets selecting. This is based on my belief that they probably will not be able to trade up and that Tre Johnson and Fears will most likely be gone. The two players I see the Nets taking at 8 and 19 are Egor Demin and Rocco Zackarsky.
Egor Demin-Now for whatever reason some guys like Lucas are down on Demin. I do get it. Couple things on Demin because I think he has absurd upside for his age. First, the dude lit up the combine especially in the shooting area which was a questions mark and reportedly did the same for the nets individually. He measure over 6”8 barefoot so you dealing with a legit 6”9 point guard who is arguably the best playmaker in the draft. He shot 28 percent from three BUT this is does not tell the entire story. He shot 68 percent in the paint. Also, it was down year shooting three. Before he came over he shot .36 percent and 40 percent from 3 the past two seasons. So this is a guy who can shoot the three. Lastly, when are we going to stop underrating these international players athleticism. When you are 6”9 you don’t have to be Damien Lillard to blow by people. Look at Giannis. He is the fastest guy on the floor but his length allows him to get into the paint and that’s what Demin does.
Rocco Zachary is a guy who is one of the youngest players in the draft at 7”3 with super mobility.
Excellent video!
My 2 favorite Nets reporters 🎉
These 2 should be speaking on Hockey, they are corny.
Gotta hire Mike Malone if available, he will unlock Giannis's old man game to prolong his career
