Rockets must strongly consider draft day blockbuster with Nets

What’s going on everyone? Welcome back to another edition of BKNY Hoops. If you’re new to the channel, I am your host as always, Rashid White. All right, let’s get into it. You guys see the title, you see the thumbnail. Um, what the hell is going on with the Brooklyn Nets and what’s going on with these actual media pundits? Now, all the rumors I’m actually hearing about Shawn Marks wanting to trade up, well, trade Cam Johnson for like a temp pick. I mean, or a ninth pick or eighth pick or mean, or a ninth pick or eighth pick or not not eighth pick. I’m sorry, like a seventh pick or something like that. I mean, if it’s not a top one, two, or mean, if it’s not a top one, two, or three pick, it really just doesn’t make any sense at all, man. So, let’s get into uh the actual article. I just believe a lot of these media pundits, you know, are really actively working against the Brooklyn Nets. They really want to see this team in like a deep want to see this team in like a deep dark abyss, you know, for like the next 20 to 25 something years. Man, I think a 20 to 25 something years. Man, I think a lot of these guys are real like like real like secret like Nick reporters, man. I mean, that’s what it really must be over here, man. So, let’s get into the actual article. All right, so you guys see it over here, man. Rockets must strongly consider draft day blockbuster with the Nets, and we’re going to get into the whole meat of this over here. So, Rockets could make draft uh day deal with Nets. Uh the specifics would be, and this is all a rumor, is that the and this is all a rumor, is that the Nets would unload Cam Johnson and their own 19th pick to add another lottery pick even at the expense of a bad contract. Fans are uh putting the pieces together to deduce what this deal uh would actually look like over here. So, the Brooklyn Nets will get Dylan Brooks, Jo Lando, our 2025 first round pick at number 10. and the Nets will I’m sorry, the Houston Rockets will actually get Cameron Johnson and the Nets um uh uh 19th pick over here. So, it um uh uh 19th pick over here. So, it says that’s undeniably um reasonable. Yeah. Yeah. For the Houston Rockets is a great deal for them, man. But listen, I like Dylan Brooks, though. Uh he has dog in him. But listen, Cameron Johnson is light years better than him. Cam Johnson is light years better than any 10th draft pick that the Nets can actually uh uh take. Right. So, we seen Cam Johnson, he really played at a allstar level. Um or all-star caliber level. Let’s let me not say all-star level, but like a all-star caliber level where um he was putting the ball on the floor. He was putting the ball on the floor. He was like playmaking. He’s able to come off screens. We’ve seen a little bit of him posting up uh him like moving without the basketball, you know, like you know, like give and go type scenarios, man. Like the whole package pretty much, man. And he’s really really a good high-end role player. And he’s, like I said, he’s going to be better than any 19th, I’m sorry, 10th pick that the Brooklyn Nets can actually really select, man. I mean, that’s just undeniable right there, man. you know, and um um if that pick that you can actually um um if that pick that you can actually get is better than Cam Johnson, then I would say, okay, hey, make the deal. But like, why are the Nets in are trying to like, why are the Nets in are trying to help out other teams over here, man? And what’s the direction of the Brooklyn Nets? Are they just trying to stay bad forever? You know, like I said before, man, Char Marks is like uh uh um really man, Char Marks is like uh uh um really really I think believe I I believe he’s actually really working for James Dolan, man. I mean, this is like probably like him and Rob Plink are like probably the worst general managers like that I ever ever seen, man. So, um let me know what you guys actually really think in the comment section. And I think this is a horrible trade if Cam I think this is a horrible trade if Cam Johnson if you’re not getting like a um I wouldn’t say a number one pick, right? But then right now Cam Johnson right now is actually better than Cooper Flag, right? Cooper Flag still has about three or four years to go, but right now Cam or four years to go, but right now Cam Johnson is actually better than Koopa Flag. Um so you know, experience really does matter, man. But all right, let me know what you guys actually think in the comments section. live stream tonight. We’re going to get into it. Uh, this video initially was supposed to be like a Noah Sanjay video, but I’m like, I saw a Noah Sanjay video, but I’m like, I saw this and I’m like, what the hell’s going on, man? Like, this is insanely crazy, man. And, uh, it needs to stop. All right, like, comment, subscribe, certainly share this video. When you share, the universe certainly shares back with you. Peace. [Music] Heat. Heat. Hey, hey, hey.

  1. I disagree this is a good trade for Brooklyn not the Rockets. Brooks is a player Brooklyn can flip at the trade deadline for more assets. this Draft is only about 15 players deep in good prospects IMO. Landale is a nonguaranted contract that can be flipped to a team trying to cut cost netting even more assets. all Houston gets is CJ and a pick that will not net them a very good prospect

  2. Very good soliloquy, Rasheed. You're getting good at it. I believe the Nets trade of Cam Johnson and their 2025 1st rd pick (19th) for the Rockets Dillion Brooks, Jock Landale, and their 1st rd pick (10th) would be a good deal for the Nets. Cam Johnson isn't in the Nets future. The Nets moving up in the draft is more important than keeping him. Could you imagine the Nets pulling off a draft of Khaman Maluach and Derik Queen? I'd be happy. Forget the conspiracy theory stuff concerning Nolan. You're too smart to be serious about that. lol

  3. @Rasheed I still hope you get around to doing that show on Khaman Maluach and be sure to cover how he played in the olympics.

  4. @claudesmith9422 Claude you saying last night my take had no meaningful words behind them on the Pacers/OKC game was rude and disrespectful 🧐….

No matter how much you disagree with my content I always put meaningful thoughts into my different takes 🧐…..
